It's a nice game. I've only come across minor glitches and the people there are really kind. The staff take your issues seriously and reply to you directly. Because it is a smaller site, you even can have a chance to create the designs for the pets. Parents should know that this game is for kids 13 and older, so there is swearing and some inappropriate subjects; however, it still has rules in place to protect people. I love this game and would recommend it.
Xanje is all about throwing as much things as they can at you so you don't immediately realize that they suck at each aspect of it. From fighting that's limited, boring and often glitchy, to pet color breeding that's so random even the owner can't explain the logic behind it; mini games that are lacking and unbalanced unless you love flappy bird to an overwhelming amount of pets they you can't do much with since the interface is such a pain for organizing. Not to mention all the items you need for breeding, the slow time it takes for each breed, and the fact that all the pets look the same just with different patterns and yet none of the hundred different corgi designs can breed together. And why do those ugly humanoid creatures have genitals?! There were a couple interesting events they hosted that actually used some of their features well, but that was limited and then things resorted back to being boring and relying on constant pet pop ups instead. The site looks like it is 20 years out of date and even the original programmer jumped out of the sinking ship since he was aware that the game was failing. And that brings us to the owner. Absolutely incompetent with the VOLUNTEER staff doing everything since the owner can only sit there and whine about the fact that the site doesn't bring in money and that she's not sure how much longer it will survive. Certainly not worth the time or effort when there are many better pet games out there with nicer staff, better looking pets, breeding that has some type of consistency and actually fun mini games and battle features.
