Hey Folks. Ms Kate with Zillow in Green Cove Springs is absolutely AMAZING! She was very professional in showing the home I considered and declined due to location, but suggested alternatives in a manner that encouraged my pursuit further. Give That Woman Respect and Love!

You can't ask a question without getting inundated with calls. I was looking at a property and a question was not addressed. The only way to get information is "contact the agent" and it isn't even the listing agent. It is any vulture that wants to reach out to you. Even when I specifically said to contact me via email, I was fielding calls all morning at work. Why make this so hard?

I have just paid my last monthy extortion with Zillow. After 8 months, agents attending all recommended seminars and almost $20,000 here is the breakdown of my outcome.
1. Sales 0
2. Listings 0
3.Leads that have a great shot of buying and or selling 0
4.Leads that have a small amount of buying or selling 0

It's too late for me save yourself a lot of time and money run from Zillow.

The customer service is a little iffy. There are many scams to watch out for. I find myself constantly reporting obviously fraudulent listings. The private listers are so much more professional than the realtors that list. The feature for renters to pay fees thru the app does help with the legitimacy of each rental.

Tip for consumers:
What out for scams like rentals that are too cheap to be true or people asking you to send them fees and deposits thru cash apps.

I have found most places I have rented the past few years from Zillow. Some were not what they seemed, others were decent.

Developers in my town continue building 100's of homes with prices above 350K. Meanwhile the value, per Zillow, of my property has dropped ~68K (20%) for no apparent reason. Additionally, the new homes are being built on top of one another with postage stamp lots while I'm on 3.3 acres with a nice, 3 bedroom manufactured home. I used to think Zillow's valuations were close, but have come to realize there's appears to be no rhyme or reason to their numbers and hope others see this as well.

Tip for consumers:
I've tried to determine why this happened and have been totally unsuccessful .. I guess they prefer not talking about this.

Zillow is flooded with property managers, so don't waste 35.00 on their application. 90 percent of their listings are property managers. This makes their application a waste of money.

I set up at tour date. They had computer contact me. Then they had a computer call me. I don't talk to computer so I hung up. Someone who was not in the area called me she was on the other side of the state. Express my concerns they were more concerned about selling. I felt like I was the monkey in the middle. I told the computer,I would get my own realtor

Zillow is reckless with its home values. I am in a market of little change. They appear to be trying to force a market swing downward for their investors. They dropped my home value by ******* online in just a period of 3 months. Reckless. Even the bank value who is very conservative is 20,000 higher than theirs. Now all the people they sold to are in the hole.

I have a home listed incorrectly on Zillow. I have called multiple times and my Realtor has attempted to contact them as well. Neither of us have been successful despite the message- We will get back with you shortly. We are going to miss out on multiple views due to Zillows error. I have a 4 bedroom 2 bath home which Zillow has listed as a 1/1. I understand mistakes happen but have the means to correct the mistake. This is completely unprofessional and going to cost me in the end.

$2500 a month for 1.5 leads a month. 4 actual leads and the rest should never have been transferred. Dog walkers looking for her clients, a dad checking to see if his son got a good deal on the house he bought, a guy from out of town who needed a tour guide, none of these should have qualified as "leads" each cost me $2500 - Run screaming and go get your own leads. One thought comes to mind "class action lawsuit"

Tip for consumers:
The poorest ROI with "leads" that never had any intention of purchasing anything ever.

I usually love Zillow for shopping new properties and deals however upon trying to review an unscrupulous realtor I found that they are shielding Realtors using their premium service from some negative reviews. I've submitted eight different times honest and will tempered review of one specific realtor and every time there's a new reason they won't accept it. I'm just putting this out there be wary, they are known in some of the real estate forums to do this.

I'd give zillow 0 stars if i could. They keep listing empty lots and trashed out little homes as comps to my luxury log cabin 6 bed, 6.5 bath with indoor pool overnight rental. They won't change it and tell me to edit the facts BUT They don't give me access to get into edit facts! They are misleading and their new algorithm is clueless and wrong.

The program did not produce any good leads in six months contract, very few inquiries on mobile homes and BMRs, no real leads. Subscribers phone numbers and invoice number are not recognized by automated customer service messages. They also illegally debited bank for the 7th month and refused to refund. Do not spend a dime here.

I've been using Zillow for quite some time, and while I appreciate the platform's efforts to help people find the right real estate agents, I'm deeply disappointed by its review policy. Zillow's refusal to publish negative reviews is a major drawback that undermines the credibility of the platform.

In my recent experience, I had a less-than-satisfactory interaction with an agent, and I wanted to share my honest feedback with the Zillow community. However, to my surprise, Zillow rejected my negative review because I hadn't formally hired the agent in question. This policy essentially silences the voices of individuals who have had negative experiences with agents, preventing them from warning others about potential pitfalls.

Transparency is crucial in the real estate industry, where significant financial decisions are made. Buyers and sellers deserve to have access to a complete picture of an agent's performance, including the good and the bad. Zillow's current review policy only serves to create a biased, overly positive image of agents, which does a disservice to users.

I believe that Zillow should reevaluate its review policy and consider allowing reviews from all perspectives involved in a real estate transaction. This would not only enhance the platform's credibility but also empower users to make more informed decisions when selecting an agent.

In summary, while Zillow is a valuable resource for the real estate market, its refusal to publish negative reviews is a glaring flaw that needs to be addressed. Let's work toward a more transparent and user-centric review system that benefits everyone in the real estate community.

Zillow is a scam if you are selling by owner. They do not show FSBO listings to buyers, unless the buyer knows to change their settings to show FSBO listings, otherwise they are hidden, and only shown to realtors and investors, who then blow up your phone with calls and text messages, dozens a day, wanting you to list with them or sell for half price. I listed for three months and had no calls from buyers. All of my legitimate buyer calls came from my sign on the property.

Zillow emailed me back rejecting my honest review of a realtor I worked with. Turns out this realtor has nothing but 5 star reviews. This leads me to believe that reviews less than 5 stars are not posted in order to support the realtors. Highly unprofessional! I will also note these reviews were spread out over a long period of time. Likely many more were rejected.

There are A LOT of lazy real estate agents on Zillow. I would never contract with an agent that doesn't take the time to take pics or takes dark or lousy pics. If a Zillow listing does not have pics, I (and many others) will not even consider the property and will move to the next. Also, the lazy agents don't take the time to describe the home and instead say something like agent, see notes. What good does that do the average home shopper that doesn't have an agent yet? If there is a HOA fee or lot rent fee, Zillow always avoids revealing this info even though it is significant toward the true price of the home. And if you try to look for a house in FL, you will have to go through thousands of manufactured homes that lazy real estate agents should have listed in manufactured home section. Lots of room for Zillow improvements.

Tip for consumers:
Be prepared to spend 3x as much time as you have to because Zillow doesn't make agents do their job, eg, correctly classify their listings, add pics, provide complete description including add ons like mello roos, lot rent, HOA fees, etc.

I listed a fully furnished 5 bedroom/5 bath home on Zillow, under the catagory "temporary/sublet", hoping to find a renter for any part of January 2021-April 2021. I was assured by Zillow marketing that if I "didn't receive at least one lead" from my ad, I would receive an additional week free.
Bizarrely, the ONLY "leads" I received were for a 1 bedroom/1 bath apartment on the other side of town, wholly unconnected to me in ANY way. I got multiple calls about that apartment asking for "Sharon", the landlord listing on the ad for that apartment, I guess. Clearly, Zillow made some sort of error and was directing those leads to me (I don't know if Sharon was getting my leads).
When I complained about this and asked for situation to be corrected AND to get my supposed free weeks-- I was told that "ANY " lead counts toward the guarantee! The fact that the leads were ALL FOR SOMEONE ELSE'S PROPERTY, didn't matter! This went on for 3 weeks, with the my listing auto renewed at $9.99 per week. I never received a single inquiry that was actually about my house. Total waste of $30.

Our home value has, according to Zillow, steadily decreased, while homes all around us have increased. Why? Who knows! I sent an e-mail to Zillow about this; they told me that they use "neural networks" to appraise homes. What BS! On our block alone, they have missed several homes that have been torn down and rebuilt to a much larger size. Houses in our area routinely sell for prices ~50% higher than shown on Zillow. Don't bother with this silly website.

Just can't believe they want you to pay $50 per adult on an application to rent an apartment BEFORE YOU ARE ABLE TO SEE IT! If the apartment isn't up to par, doesn't fit your needs or you just don't like it DO YOU GET YOUR APPLICATION FEE BACK?!
How can you apply to rent a place WITHOUT EVER HAVING SEEN IT?
Very, very, very poor marketing! How can an apartment complex even use a service like this. A lot of open rentals I guess, and they are all paying Zillow to advertise!
