I do like how Writerbay cares about the level of skills and knowledge their writers have. For instance, after having some troubles with formatting, I got an explanatory email and a quiz to fill up the gaps in my knowledge. I spent some time for looking add info and completing the test, but yes, it worked. You can also control the situation with your orders via personal statistics, which is also quite useful.
I had been working on this platform for many years now. Completed hundreds of orders, had a rating of 4.3 (which is very good). Completed my last order with a 5-star review and a bonus but they terminated my account with simply one email that my work quality has not been good. I emailed them back asking for specific reason but they dont seem to be concerned. They will do every thing to please the client but a writer who works tirelessly has no value to them.

My journey at writerbay took its starting point approximately 1 year ago when my friend advised me to register since I needed add income. I recently discovered the potential of freelance writing as a part-time job and decided to give a try to several sites where they post writing tasks and projects. Writerbay was one of them, I've registered in September last year when I did not have my hands full with my full-time job, and I felt like it was an opportunity to try something else to complement my income. Out of half-dozen sites I had got involved with initially, I later on quit most of them except for two, one of them being writerbay. I like to take orders with longer deadlines for weekdays and the ones with shorter deadlines that have higher pay-rates for the weekends. It's also cool that I can work whenever I feel like it since there's no quota for the number of orders you have to complete. It was a thesis supply chain management order from my previous client. He liked my attempt at the theoretical part of the thesis and asked me to write the rest. He also told me that I can have more than 20 days so I was fortunate enough not to worry about the approaching deadline. So I was recently assigned a new order from the client who previously hired me to work on more than 20 of their assignments. The new order was for 45 pages and it encompassed around 15 practical tasks on HRM so I was eager to accept it. But when I was halfway through the tasks, I was faced with a medical emergency that forced me to take a leave for at least 3 days. While working on the order my client told me that I had to complete not 15, but 35 pages. At first I was frustrated, but then I was informed that my deadline is extended and I will be paid x2 more. The company is evidently not interested in writers' services. They will give you cumbersome rules and regulations, fine you for absolutely nothing, and you'll live every day with threats of account termination. The support is also very rude to writers, and really don't understand the meaning of "support." If you have your money and want to purchase a WriterBay account, my friend piga tu sherehe (just eat it); otherwise, you are throwing away the money.

Once they got a photo of my driver's license, they disappeared and stopped replying. If you use it in any way, you will be found, guys. After registering, they request a photo of your passport and then reject you based on your writing skills. Smells fishy? Absolutely. We are sorry to hear your experience was not positive, but, as we have already mentioned in the email sent to you as a response to your questions, your account has been thoroughly checked and after specific fraudulent activity was detected (including providing of a faked-up document) we have strong reasons to state that your account was sold/passed to a third party representative which is strictly prohibited by our Terms of Use:
3.2.11. Use only one username with the correct and up to date personal information. Working under multiple, fake Accounts (user names), operating from accounts owned by third parties or selling already existing Accounts to third parties is strictly prohibited.
After application decline you received an email stating that 'We have a number of criteria obligatory to be met by an applicant in order to be approved for a freelance writer position in our company. It includes an authentic and verifiable academic certificate, appropriate writing skills, the validity and credibility of the contact information provided, previous application history, and the overall test score. Unfortunately, you have not met one or more of those requirements and we cannot accept you into our team of writers', which means that your application was not declined based on your writing skills and you had an option to contact us and ask for a more detailed reason of your application's rejection.
The only possible way for an applicant to get accepted is to register for free, complete an application form, provide valid documents if requested and get checked for approval or decline. Overall, they are one of the greatest that I have worked with. I get to learn a lot along the way and I love that I am helping clients who are struggling. About the only criticism I have for them overall is some communication issues with clients and once in awhile even staff. As for new writers, certain amount of time is needed for them to get used to our platform and specifics of orders' completion. Orders completed by new writers undergo a thorough check since we cannot compromise on the quality and as a result, we cannot give them as many orders as our regular writers receive.
Secondly, it is clearly stated on the website that it is needed to meet the minimum amount of $100 on balance to be withdrawn. This regulation is a fixed one by the Financial Department and cannot be changed or altered.
Thirdly, it is important to note that the number of available projects is updated on everyday basis and you can apply for as many of them as you find suitable for your schedule. My application was denied due to "evidence that my diploma was modified." Apparently, they use some "programs" and "experienced managers" who decided that the diploma image I uploaded was not real. However, all diplomas in my country can be verified on a government website, and I provided them with a screenshot. This is a ridiculous reason to deny an applicant. I could understand if I did not pass a test or the application essay was poorly written. However, denying a writer for "modifying diploma" without any objective evidence of such behavior is unprofessional. If there was any doubt about the provided file, your company could request some additional photos or even videos of the diploma. I am very displeased with your recruiting team. Please reconsider your managers and "software."
