I have been using world start for about a year and have found the premium membership well worth the tiny price. The tech tips alone for me are the best. I have purchased quite a bit of stuff from the site and its about 50/50. Half the stuff is cheep crap but the other half is really good deals. Like I said, the tech info alone is top notch.
Recently was notified of a bank charge from this website. Never heard of it before. No approval, no service, they are stealing money. Beware, this site is fraudelent.

I have nothing to do with this company yet they claim I purchased their software and they are trying to bill me for it! I may have looked at the website,[I have no record of it], but why should I since I am not interested?
I returned the paper bill with that comment, I have not received any response. I hope it will stay that way.
Worldstart once was a great company to do business with.
Products, customrr service was great.
TODAY THIS COMPANY TOTALLY SUCKS.
I CANCELLED MY ACCOUNT AND THEY DID NOT FOLLOW THRU WITH THE CANCELLATION.
THEY ACTUALLY DID SOMETHING worse aFTER BUGGING ME THAT MY EXTENDED SUBSCRIPTION WAS running out.
THEY EITHER BLOCKED MY ABILITY TO VISIT THEIR SITE AT WORLDSTART.COM OR THE JUST TOOK IT DOWN. The message received is that the SITE is UNAVAILABLE AND IT'S BEEN THAT WAY FOR THE PAST SEVERAL WEEKS (MAYBE 5 6 WEEKS)

Ordered and veritably paid for one (small, under 1 kilo) item June 1,2015.
Shipped July 2,2015.
FROM THEIR FACILITY IN TOLEDO OHIO!
Going some UPS means so slow it will take three days to travel last three hundred miles.
The (usual ridiculous) shipping disclaimer says "7-10 days" and "drop shipping" nonsense.
Again item shipped FROM THEIR FACILITY IN TOLEDO OHIO!
Do what you want about their "advice" - if its in par with their hard commerce conduct... "Good Luck"
RECOMMENDED - if you only kinda sorta need the item... whenever they get around to shipping it... toads.
Whiskey Oscar Oscar Tango DOT con all the way!
Tip for consumers:
AVOID HARD COMMERCE ITEMS!
I have been a worldstart customer for several years, making fewer than a dozen purchases. Every product received came with a 'surprise' - none of them pleasant:
1. USB to SATA/IDE device DID NOT make a duplicate by pressing the button as advertised; however, it was well worth the price for its other features.
2. SystemMechanic (a real piece of trash) DID NOT install on all my computers as the ad said - it was only good for three computers. It IS NOT for lifetime, but only one year. The specs DO NOT say that internet is required, but it is! (What if the problem you wish to fix is a lousy internet connection?). Customer service HAS NOT responded to numerous polite inquiries.
3. EasyLink DOES NOT automatically run when plugged in to USB port (this is a nifty, but slow file transfer product) and only works part of the time with Windows 7. The software must be executed from the host computer(s). I also found this product for 1/3 the price elsewhere.
Their shipping is slow - often takes 10days-2weeks for them to SHIP the product though they bill your credit card immediately.
My advice (after nearly 40 years of systems integration work)
1. If you see a product you like, go to the manufacturers site for the specs - do not trust the hype of Worldstart.
2. If you decide to purchase, do a bit of searching, you may find it for MUCH LESS elsewhere.
3. If you decide to buy from Worldstart, be prepared to wait an extended period of time for delivery.
DO NOT expect customer service
DO NOT count on tech support.
I order a lot of computer software from Worldstart. They give great computer tips and have some pretty good prices. Sometimes thier electronics aren't as good as I had hoped they would be, but they have a great money back guarantee, so if you are not pleased with anything, they take it back, no questions asked. I have ordered from them for years.
