Wanted to add another review after being tipped off by tran. This is a very intuitive, ad-free, well-designed site that seems poised to take a lot of traffic from ad-driven, proprietary, pay-for-access and other commercial sites.
No resume-writing sales pitches, no personal career coach offers, and no frustrating dead ends.
So far, a lot the jobs i've seen posted there are also posted on other job boards, so i have confidence that they're legit, and, at least for my profession feature power employers (Google, HP, DLA Piper, etc.). I think as more employers and more job seekers learn about this very useful tool, it may become the de facto first-stop job search engine.
Say goodbye to dubious sites promising superior access to exclusive job listings for a fee. Say hello to universe.jobs!
Thanks again tran. I can't wait to see how this site develops. I've already started recommending it to others.
I heard about this on NPR and love the idea of it. It's a free network of websites to seek and post employment ads based on your area or city. Basically you can type in SanFrancisco.jobs (or whatever city you're in) or education.jobs (or whatever field you're in) or SanFranciscoeducation.jobs (city and field) to find work that might be relevant to your field, location or both! Brilllliant.
