“Thank you Dr Guiang”

Trisha B.
8/5/16

Had my first visit with Dr Giang today, and all I can say is that I feel very fortunate to have this man for my new Dr. He not only listens to what you have to say, he is great at answering questions or concerns you may have. For a year I have been in limbo, awaiting a pain mngmt to accept me. My primary care doc provided for med refills, but I really needed a Dr who would help me to identify and manage the cause of my daily pain, rather than just write a prescription and send me on my way for another month. Dr Giang was so patient with my many questions, and truly seems to care about helping his patients. One visit and already I feel there is finally a light at the end of the tunnel. Don't know how anyone can find fault with this dr or his staff, because everyone I met today were kind and caring folks. I feel blessed to have Dr Guiang, his staff and the beautiful Murrieta facility as my new pain management. Finally, a Dr that actually cares... Thank you Dr Giang...

“This doctor has no respect for Seniors”

He called me a liar twice, all my documents are in front of him and still questions them. Have I known about him at all I never would have not wasted my time and energy to see him. I see am not the only one who questions this so called doctor, but the Board of medicine needs to hear how he treats his patients.

This doctor made me feel so hopeless. I told him I suffer from migraines and chronic neck pain from a fall. He wanted to take me off of the two medications that work just fine for me and put me on four pills that don't. He spoke poorly of my gen doctor and said he was sick of my doctors office referring him patients on pain meds. Wow! How unprofessional. I went in his office willing to try anything to alleviate and manage the pain but his approach was so so offensive that I couldn't even focus on anything but the fact that he made me feel like some kind of pill seeking junky. I spoke to him about surgery and he told me that it wouldn't help. He told me to buy a book and go on a gluten free diet. In all honesty, every morning since I've gone into that office when the pain hits and shoots, burns, throbs or pierces in my neck or my head feels like there's a ten ton truck on it, I have thought of the doctor at unipain and how I wish he could feel as miserable as I do. All he did was tell me about another patient who was a walking miracle because of a gluten free diet. He brought up this patient and told the story repeatedly instead of asking me about my family history. If he had, he may have learned that my mom and aunt are crippled from rheumatoid arthritis and this may be why I'm losing the ability to turn my head left and right. I AM willing to try alternative methods to manage the pain but not from someone who says I HAVE enough pain for them to stick needles in my neck but NOT enough pain for meds that work?

Not impressed at all with the level of care at this practice. Waiting over two hours for my appointment just to be told to take an Advil when I provided supporting documentation of my medical records and ailments, was just unreal and shocking. Not to mention the unprofessional statements made to me by Dr. Guiang about my previous pain doctor defaming his character and slandering his name. Those slanderous statements were the first words out of Dr. Rainier Guiang' mouth today. He was more concerned about bashing or gossiping about my previous doctor than he was interested in my physical pain. I was completely taken aback as I've never heard of a medical "professional" make such damaging statements about another doctor in the same specialty. These statements caused me so much concern that when I returned home from the useless visit at
Dr. Guiang's office, I immediately conducted a background check on my previous pain doctor and found none of Dr. Guiang's statements to be true. I intend to make these allegations known to all interested parties, including the Medical Board of California. Very shocking, unethical, distressing, and disappointing conduct on the part of Dr. Rainier Guiang.

Tip for consumers:
Go there if you feel like wasting your time, not having the doctor listen to or believe your medical ailments, and feel like being frustrated, or just to listen to Dr. Rainier Guiang gossip and slander other professionals in his same specialty. One would think this type of behavior would have ended back when he was in high school.
