“Great remodel!”

Thanks to Lior Lazarovich, Dorel Zander and the Treeium team for the transformation of my parents home! The timeline and communication throughout the remodel process was great! Especially with my busy schedule. All the work was very efficient and thorough. Very satisfied! Would recommend to anyone looking to remodel.

“Lies and awful service, need I say more? Yes I will”

TERRY W.
12/8/20

From day one, so many promises made and none of them kept. My one month job with a 3 month outside limit took over 5 months to complete. The sales guy/project manager almost never showed up after getting a signed contract. The workmanship is poor at best, tile and finish work was just plain awful. Workers left crap everywhere and rocks in the carpets. I invite anyone considering this company to come over to my house to see what they will be getting. The project manager gets bonuses based on the reviews you send in to the company, my project manager was so upset over a bad review that he threatened to send in the "B" team to finish the job. After seeing the completed project, I don't think they have an "A" team. One of my faucets started leaking 10 months after completion, they wouldn't warranty the labor. They wanted $300 to repair it so I ordered the part from Amazon and replaced it myself (took 15 minutes). Treeium's warranty isn't worth the paper its printed on.

We had a storage room off the garage converted to a studio apartment. The project managers Dorel Zander and Lior Lazrovich, their architect, designers, and work crews were friendly and excellent at what they do. Even with the issues that the City raised about the property and physical challenges, they were willing to work with us, within our budget, to get the job completed within the time frame we were working with. Dorel and Lior stayed in constant contact with us throughout the project, particularly with the stages of the remodel and the city inspections. They were always very responsive to any questions or concerns we had and addressed them fully. The bathroom and kitchenette look terrific. Very pleased with the overall experience.

We just had two bathrooms remodeled by Treeium. Lior, the project manager, made sure that all was on schedule -- the crews, the suppliers and us. We are very happy with the new bathrooms in our home.

The contract said the job would be done in 7-8 weeks; it was done in 5 weeks. Lior is a "taskmaster" in the best sense of the word. He is also a cheerleader. He kept us all "in line" by reminding us of our responsibilities. He was at the site every day. His crew was friendly, conscientious, and efficient.

We live approximately seven hours drive from the construction site and had several trips planned during the reconstruction. Prior to starting the project, we were supplied detailed schematics as well as a designer's full color rendering of what the bathrooms would look like on completion. As a result, we were able to follow the work via skype or photos which Lior supplied daily. We made minor changes along the way. Lior was always positive and gave great advice in relation to costs etc. We were told exactly how much the project (or changes we made) would cost there were no surprises when the work was completed.

We are more than happy with the work done by Treeium. We plan to keep on using Treeium for the rest of our renovations because of the fine work done by the crews and the direction of Lior, the project manager.

After 24 months of waiting to have my project started, Moty Ginsburg lied to me about providing "next day's installation" following the week of July 17th.
I then entered a contract to refund my payments – this was like pulling teeth – but they finally agreed (I'm not getting a FULL refund).

THEY ARE NOW IN BREACH OF CONTRACT as they have missed the payment deadline for the FIRST payment and refuse to communicate.

The "main" people at Treeium are:
- Elizabeth Camarena
- Dean Ginsburg
- Moty Ginsburg
- Frances Mayorga

"Rhea" is the receptionist who will NEVER get you in contact with anyone; she will only email Moty.! DO NOT GO INTO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!
When the going gets rough, they will stop all communication with you and most likely, you will lose money.
Treeium collected $12,740.00 from me and is NOT ADHEARING to their contractual obligation.

The attached photo is my refund agreement (my phone & address redacted).

Tip for consumers:

September 14,2023 *** Update ***
Company responded after about (8) emails in the last two weeks and many, many phone "hang-ups" when attempting to call them. They are offering a refund --- less than what I paid them --- and in monthly payments, to begin a month from now. I refused. I want a full refund - I haven't received ANYTHING... It looks like this company is in financial trouble.

August 3,2021
I Signed a contract on to install (2) Tesla Powerwall units. Paid a total of $9,767.20 prior to receiving product and installation.
I have NEVER received proactive communication from Treeium regarding the status of my project.
The constant response I received when regularly contacting them, was they were waiting for deliveries from Tesla.

June 23,2023 (22 months after contract signature)
Moty Ginsburg (the owner of Treeium) sent me the following email: "Per our conversation, we will be getting a Tesla shipment the week of the 17th of July. As soon as we have delivery, we will schedule the next day's installation for you." This did not happen, nor did he contact me at ANY point after the missed date.

August 17,2023 (8 weeks later)
I gave them 2 weeks to complete, or I would cancel the project (they NEVER responded).

September 1,2023
I called and cancelled the project, stating that I would like a full refund. Frances Mayorga (from Treeium) contacted me, stating I would receive a full refund.

September 12,2023
NO REFUND. I may need to hire a lawyer. Buyer BEWARE of this company.
I have been VERY nice and accommodating. Treeium has been TERRIBLE.
This company is the worst experience I have ever had.

Tip for consumers:
They have NOT given me a refund of the $12,740.00 I have paid to them. NO product has been received.

None. In 2 years, they accomplished NOTHING.

Treeium is an outstanding company and I loved working with my project manager, Guy. I live in NY and was doing a bathroom remodel in my San Diego condo long distance. Guy's communication was excellent and he handled everything for me. The workmanship was terrific - the bathroom is stunning. And my sister who lives there said his crew was very polite, very neat, and very punctual. I highly recommend Treeium, and would use them again in a heartbeat!

Treeium has been a complete nightmare since my 2 bathroom renovation started. I am still dealing with their issues 6 months after my two-bathroom renovation was SUPPOSED to be completed. I had countless issues with each phase of the project and had to consult multiple contractors not affiliated with Treeium to remedy each issue. The final issue I dealt with was a plumbing leak in both bathrooms after the expensive tile had already been laid. In short their plumbers instsalled each bathroom ring too low. I had to document their errors and take photos of the problems with each bathroom and toilet. They sent plumbers out on three different occasions and were not able to fix their errors. As a result of their contractor's incompetence, I had to consult my own plumber to fix Treeium's mistakes that were made. These fixes cost $2900. Their CEO, Moty Ginsburg/and Office manager, Abril Platas approved the reimbursement for the costs I incurred, however, they never paid the $2900. Their Project Manager, Joseph Avishay could not provide any updates and apologized for their lack of ability to conduct good business. I have been told countless excuses as to why I was not reimbursed, such as "their accounting team is overseas", "their CEO is out of town," "Their CEO is in charge of accounting and is out of town"... the list goes on. If anyone would like to see the email chain and photos of their mistakes I would be happy to share them with you. PLEASE do yourself a favor and run as fast as possible away from this horrible company if you're thinking about contracting with them, they are bad business. Period.

Treeium is an excellent, extremely professional company. They worked fast and efficiently, and created a beautiful new bathroom for us. The quality of the work is outstanding and the entire team of specialists work together to do an outstanding job. We have now hired them to remodel our kitchen, a second bathroom, as well as other rooms in our home. We would like to thank our contractor Lior Lazarovich and his entire team for a job super well done! Thank you!

Treeium has just completed our down-to-the-studs remodel of a 1977 guest bathroom. Our initial contact was with Tomer Turjeman. He was pleasant and informative on the telephone, arrived promptly and answered all our questions. We then left town for two months. When we recontacted Tomer, he arrived a couple days later and spent several hours helping us clarify how we wanted the remodeled bathroom to look. He offered suggestions, gently guided us away from a few bad decisions, and offered resources.

Work began within the week. We opted to select materials ourselves and were very pleased with the suppliers Tomer recommended. He told us that if we had the materials on hand as needed (we managed to do so), it would take no more than 6 weeks, and that he would try for 4 weeks. It actually took 18 days from start to finish.

Each evening, Tomer texted us the plan for the next day. Three Treeium crews did the work. All of them arrived when stated, were careful of our possessions, were tidy as the day progressed, and cleaned up at the end of each day, which was generally mid-afternoon. All 8 guys were pleasant, skillful, and efficient.

This was a relatively small project, but Tomer made us feel that we were his best & most important customer. We are very pleased with the quality of the work and with our relationship with Tomer.

We found this a very positive experience and have couple more projects in mind with them.

I hired Treeium for my bathroom remodel, my experience with Treeium has been fantastic from the project manager Guy Borenstein to all of the amazing team. I have already referred a friend who had the same success with them. I even received my check for referring my friend to them. Everyone who sees my bathroom wants to take it home with them. When great work is combined with exceptional service the results is always fun.

The project is almost completed. A few minor changes need to be done; However Treeium did an excellent job. Took their time to bring the most out of the work and made adjustments as

Based on the overall craftsmanship and the quality of each character, Gustavo (cab installer) Roy (electrician), Jaime (the painter) and Phillip (the tile man) need a raise.

It is a pleasant home owner experience. Strongly recommend Treeium to do your remodel. They stand as a professional contractor because it is critical for increasing the value of your home. The RIGHT way

Have a great day.

My name is Ben. I had my sons fiancé's kitchen remodeled and I have to say everything went ok. I had to leave town for a weekend and project manager Lior was amazing at managing their renovation. I had left specific instructions to install a delicate vintage style stove to their kitchen as a wedding gift. Everything went great! And they're very happy and satisfied with the remodel.

Our project has been so bad that I wrote this final email to the CEO, Moty. He's had several chances to reach out and see why we were upset with the job and help make things better. In the end, he chose to hide behind his team who also did very little to make our 4 year journey any better. As the face of the company, Moty certainly doesn't live up to any qualities of a CEO. Here's my review of Treeium based on our home remodel (add 2nd story and literally touched all aspects of the house).

Now that our home remodeling project is done, we want to share our experiences with your company. I'm sure you're very aware of our project since it's the only one you have in the south bay area. Just to remind you, this project started back in October 2015. I have my first email with Asaf Elbaum, the project manager at your now defunct Sunnyvale office. And our project just finished in Oct of 2019. That's 4 years from start to finish!

We're very disappointed with your company and even more so with you. I've contacted you several times and you even had the opportunity to meet with us personally to make things right. Instead, you hid behind your team knowing that none of your staff was able to address our issues. You've failed in so many ways and your team lied to us many times throughout the project. Your team follows your lead. You're the leader. The bucks stops with you. And in our case, you didn't lead, you coward out. So, let me share with you some of the lies from Treeium.

Security fencing we were promised one, never got one. We called this out so many times but to deaf ears. There's been a dozen remodeling happening around my neighborhood and every single one of them had fencing around the property. These remodels are smaller in scale than ours and they had better security than we did. I caught a person going into our backyard and asked them to leave. I'm so glad Treeium cares about their clients safety and security.
No sub-contractors total BS. You said you have in-house workers who are dedicated to our project to minimize downtime. Also, these workers would always wear a Treeium shirt. Hah! You hired a sub-contractor who hired its own sub-contractors. Treeium had nobody qualified in-house to do anything in the northern California.
Dedicated project manager another BS lie. Because you closed down your Sunnyvale office, the closest project manager is in Pleasanton. If we saw Alex once a month because of our request, we would never see a project manager here. You think taking pictures by our sub-contractors for Treeium is a to do business and ensure quality is there? Hah. Another Treeium BS. You company states "highest quality". I laugh. How would you know if no one ever shows up from your company to see it in person? And if they do, it's too late if there's an issue.
There's more but I want to call out the next thing that Treeium failed. A dedicated project manager. How do you expect any quality of work done and to ensure what we're asking and expecting is being met if every communication is done via email and text? How do you expect us, the homeowner, explain and show stuff when your project manager is unable to come? We had our bathrooms renovated and their project manager came every day. Every $#*!ing day. And guess what? The project manager and my wife would talk about the next area and ensure we're all on the same page before work got started. Do you know how many issues came during this remodel that we had 0 project manager show up from Treeium? If it weren't for our sub-contractor, the house would look like $#*!. But let's discuss some of the issues w/o a dedicated project manager.

We went through 4 project managers. 4! Enough said
We also went through 2 architects. The one we had to work with is a piece of $#*!. Joe is the worse and he hurts your company's reputation. Stuff was off by feet, not inches. Our sub-contractor was able to fix most of it. Your suggested architect also screwed us over on the kitchen hood ventilation. He did not pipe a location for a vent and we had to buy a more expensive hood unit. This also meant the smell wasn't being pushed outside. Your architect also didn't figure out where to place the HVAC ducting for upstairs. As a result, it had to cut into the open space of our loft and into our master closet. Great job, Treeium.
Getting the permit this was a big nightmare. Mike Vatury became our "project manager" before Alex stepped in. Mike was absolutely useless and is a tool. He didn't do nothing to help get our permit. My wife did. She was the one who got both the city and Mike/Joe to sit in a room and go over the discrepancies. Between the city and Mike/Joe's ego, things weren't getting done via email or by phone calls. We had to step in and get a face to face meetings to happen. Why did we, as homeowners paying Treeium, have to do this? But, if we didn't, we still be waiting on our permit. It's amazing it took you guys this long to fire Mike. He was all mouth and no action. Another black eye to your company's reputation.
HVAC we used a HVAC person Treeium suggested. He's horrible, he's rude, and he's impatient. He intruded into bedrooms with people occupied even though they said they be right out. Again, this chalks up to your company's reputation. A perv who can't understand to wait while someone clearly says they're in the room. You should get his license revoked. Again, under Treeium's supervision, this guy yelled that he can smell gas and left. He didn't say or turned the gas off. He just left. He said he didn't have the tool to check for leaks. All he needed was a spray bottle with some soap in it. Well, apparently there's been a gas leak in our house for almost a month before it was caught. Your company could have been responsible for 4 fatalities. Way to have our backs. Oh, thanks for leaving a mess in our house. If he didn't want the job, tell us. I would have rather paid more for someone more reliable and better customer service than this piece of $#*!. I'm surprised you guys still use him for your other projects.
Our cabinets and countertops this was a doozy. If the project manager was there, we would have had a countertop that extended from the cabinet the way we wanted. We showed pictures and Meir saw it in person. The countertop is flushed with our cabinet door. What would have happened if the door stuck out further than the countertop? Why wasn't a project manager present for the measurement and installation to make sure it's what we wanted? And speaking of $#*!ty workmanship, our cabinets were so poorly installed, we had to had them stop and get our sub-contractor to finish it. They left gaps, removed crown molding from the sub-contractor, and incorrectly installed parts of the inside cabinets. Again, where's the quality check from Treeium? You think pictures if sufficient here? Oh and we just noticed there's an opening at the bottom of one of the cabinets glad they told us. Zero quality and these are guys you use. Tsk tsk
Skirt for our staircase. Again, if we had a project manager, we would have found that that we needed to build the skirt in first before we had the hardwood floor installed. Now, we can't add the skirt in and would have to wait until we replace the flooring. Good job, Treeium. Way to discuss the project with your client.
There's a LOT more but you get the gist. You touched every single part of this house and we had 0 dedicated project manager managing our project. How the $#*! is that supposed to work? And don't say that coming once a week is sufficient. Alex barely came once a quarter if I didn't complain. And Jake coming over is to take pictures not about ensuring what is being built is built correctly and what we wanted. There is NO customer service. Your project manager is about ensuring I pay through your portal instead of making sure we do a walkthrough of the next area before construction started. Meir promised this and again, lies. Nothing ever was done.

We've had so many neighbors stop by to ask who is our contractor. I told each and everyone of them (as we will do in our review) that we do NOT recommend Treeium. There's no customer service, there's no quality in their work, they don't stand by their word, and worse of all, they just don't care.

So in closing, I suggest you focus less on technology for your company but to figure out how to lead your company to actual customer focus and quality. That's how you drive referrals and repeat business. I don't expect a response. If you had cared in the first place, you would have already done so. You will see our reviews out there and we'll give folks asking our opinion our honest feedback.

I hired Treeium to remodel my kitchen a couple months back. It was a very old kitchen and was in desperate need of a change. The project manager came in, listened to my ideas, gave creative suggestions, and was all around helpful & knowledgable. The work was done as scheduled and my kitchen looks incredible now. Thanks Treeium!

I had been dreading to plan & budget a kitchen remodel for years! Once I went online, by mistake I got all these darn calls by contractors. I finally decided to just get a free estimate. I mean, like it didn't seem a waste of time now that I decided to get an estimate and burn curiosity.

The experience was like any other, which is why I've learnt at my age to stop setting expectations from others. However, with treeium's hard working, fun, charismatic employees and overall great quality work. I will def look back into remodeling my bag with them.

Although I will make a suggestion to upload a few photos (which include mine) on their website!

Thank you for the renovation.

I needed a new roof so we went over what I needed which was a new roof and a new gutter system. They put my solar on my roof earlier but I needed to use Treeium as they said my warranty on my solar would not last if some other company did it. They gave me a bid to take my solar off and redo my roofing. Put my solar back up but in a bit of a different place and change the mounting. They said they would clean all my solar panels.

I came home after they did their demo and there was a nail on my sidewalk i got worried as i have kids and 2 dogs that run around. I called and they came out with a magnet and said they cleaned it up and were sorry. After my daughter went out take her puppy out in the morning. She came back with a handfull of nails and sharp metal cut offs. I went out to check this and I found over 65 nails and metal cut offs on their playground area and the dog run and car park.

They did not do a good job checking what was needed on their inspections as when they went to put up the garage roofing they said that the roof sheeting was not thick enough and I would have to pay $700 or so to correct this. This was their error when they did their bidding inspection as it was easy to see this. They fixed it and did not charge me.

Next the solar guys where putting up the solar in the wrong spot and using the old ugly mountings! I called, they were confused as this new possitioning was not communicated from the sales rep or someone. Also they said there was nothing about new mounting rails. They just cut up my new roof to mount my solar in the wrong place!
They also cuy trees that were shading this section yet the panels where in the wrong place.
They also pulled my solar disconnects off the wall some how!

I told the solar guys to make sure it was all per code. I was told they were done with the solar so I went up to inspect it. The inverters were not getting any power. They forgot to turn the system on. They did not even strap the conduit which is out code. I asked when was this going to be inspected by the city. They brought up that they dont need to pull permits or get a city inspection on this. But if I wanted one I will have to pay for it. I told them this is required that they pull a permit and get an inspection but they said it wasn't. I'm a C-10 electrical contractor and it is required. So they did not even pull a permit or get any inspections on their electrical work.

They said they finished the rain gutters. I sprayed some water on my roof and there was water coming through their gutter system on to my patio. They sent someone out to fix it. I tested it again it still leaked. I was told that you cant put gutters there. Which made no sense as this was what I was told would be done and thus it was in the contract and to top it off they put them there! This went back and forth till I just said leave 2 tubes of caulk and 4' of the angled rain flashing and I will fix it. They said they would.

They said they cleaned the solar panels and sent pictures of them. They did not clean the panels as they were still covered with dirt. I wrote "look" on them and washed one with a wet rag so they could see they where not clean and that their crew just got them wet and took a picture of them as they look "clean and shiny" when they are wet.

The roofers also used some of my round concrete tree circles to block their truck and broke these. They broke my alarm sign that was in front of my house. They cracked one of my stepping stones. I took pictures of these and sent them to them and brought this up a couple of times but they never responded to this at all.

They asked for their final payment and I brought up that they have not gotten the rain gutter material for me to fix the gutters they just left the caulk. They said they have nothing left. I told them they said they would leave this for me so I could fix it. They said it's all gone but I could go buy some at Lowes!

I went to park my car and right where I park my car there was a large new metal vent cap that had come off the roof vents and dropped to the ground. If my car would have been there when it got windy I would have had a dent and scratch in my car or a broken wind shield.

My wife and I just paid them as we are done with the back and forth and upset. We paid something like 25,000.00 for this and not pleased at all.

I am a contractor and know what to look for and do but most home owners dont and will not catch these out code points, pour workmanship, lies etc. You can use these guys but check everything they do as I am not pleased. I was not going to write a bad review but it just kept getting worse and worse and I really dont want others to go through what I did.

I have attached pictures so you can see the details

After contacting a few different contractors I finally found Treeium, and I'm so happy I did! Their representative was super professional and knew what he was talking about. My bathroom came out even better than expected. I would recommend to my friends and I'll definitely be using them again.

Treeium started off as a promising venture for me. After signing with another company, they were helpful and honest in outlining for me the grave mistake that I had made in doing so. The representative with whom I spoke, who's name was Elad, was incredibly eager to sign a deal, promising that I would pay slightly less than the other company was willing to do the job for. If you are reading this, I am here to tell you not to believe a word these people say. Half of the work done was ineffective and entirely unnecessary. He wasted my time beating around the bush with complicated language that was meant to make me feel like I should trust him, while keeping me in the dark as to exactly why. I didn't understand, but I believed him. My mistake.

Great service & quality. I have two homes, one in Irvine and in studio city. I had a fairly small project. I removed my old vanity, tile, shower and attempted to fix it all myself. BAD IDEA. Instead, I went online and discovered treeium. They contacted me immediately about an inquiry I placed and I set up an appointment. They did try to sell me on a few other things. However I'm not up tight to complain. I love the extra attention. Hahaha anyway, they fixed my bathroom from the mess I had made and turned it into a beauty! Price wise, I can't complain. They were somewhere between the middle between your competitors which stood out the most. I also had the pleasure to speak to someone in the call center. Great service on their part. My project manager did an amazing job at managing the project (hence: project manager).

If you're looking to have a home renovation done. Treeium is a great start.

May 5th, 2016, 10:30am appointment for free estimate for a patio/deck rebuild. After having three previous estimates from three reputable contractors a Treeium representative a (what I thought would be a knowledgeable contractor) showed up with his notepad and measuring tape clipped to belt. I told him the patio would be 17'X18', he measured never writing anything down. I explained to him the same things I told the previous contractors and without a beat told me it couldn't be done. I told him I have had other contractors come and have disgust what needed to be done. After taking measurements and notes was told in 2 or 3 days I would receive an estimate from them. Treeium Rep. Michael immediately started being very arrogant and condescending telling me all other estimates could not be true or correct. He then started trying to sell me on him company showing all kinds of paperwork and telling me that the sub-contractors that they use are professionals. I said to him " so you use sub-contractors and don't do the work yourselves"? He didn't like my questions. He than told me that I would need to pay him 10% of an amount he wrote down on a piece of paper so he would set a date to come back with someone to take measurements so they could give me an estimate. I then asked him "so you don't give free estimates"? He then got irate and said no engineer would come for free. At that I was very upset. I told him I needed a knowledgeable person to come to give me an estimate and not a salesman. He continued to talk down to me and I then told him to collect all his paperwork and that the conversation was over. He continued to argue with me and again I had to tell we were done. I then told him I was getting mad and wanted him to leave. I believe that this is false advertising, telling me our appointment was for a free estimate and not a hard sale from a salesmen. I had to select one star to be able submit this review, I wouldn't even give that that if I didn't have to. Larry Montano

My name is Gerry and I recently had my bathroom remodeled. I came across Treeium on Home Advisor and had read all of the great reviews they had posted. So I proceeded with getting a free estimate. They were very attentive and helpful. I met with one of the project managers and was educated on a lot of sustainable products! I didn't know much about solar energy until one of the guys named Marcelo had taught me a few things about insulation as well.

I am currently waiting for approval of one of the programs they use to make solar energy affordable and then I will be proceeding to work with Treeium. Marcelo made such a great impression.

I am very unhappy with Treeium. The prices for the work is way out of line with other contractors. They charge way to much. Be Very Careful and check them out.
They are not what they seem to be.

Treeium did an amazing job at remodeling my living room.
I came across treeium in an Instagram ad and thought to myself how wonderful it would be to remodel my living room bathroom and living space area.

I hired treeium recently because i know they work with California energy upgrade (i was also looking to add solar power) and decided to do one thing at a time. I can become very unfriendly when Im inundated with projects. Lol and I admit, I also need a cup of coffee to stay friendly.

Besides that I have just started with the demolition and so far so good! The workers are really friendly. After looking into their company, I also noticed theyre in alliance with TreePeople and Im all about saving the planets resources, donating time to my community and giving back to the world.
