Even though some articles were special order and took a while to receive, the communication and timing on order to delivery was very smooth. I've placed several orders involving thousands of dollars and topairgun has always delivered. With support and advise as needed. Absolutely recommend this company and Dirt E Harry to guide you through the process of decision of what an appropriate purchase would suit your needs.
I wrote Harry from his website contact form. He answered only the parts of the questions he wanted to answer and ignored all the important information I wanted to know about which choice to make. He does not tell you on line that all his 45 and 50 cal Evanix pistols and Rifles are on long back order. SO you end up paying and then wait to when ever. He says to just write with the SKU number to see if an item is in stock then he will not answer. I wrote him twice to see if his Evanix Tactical 45 cal Pistol was in stock so I could order if it were and he just ignored you. That is because he does not even know when any of these will be available. Two other websites post the Evanix are 45/50 Calibers are all on back order. Now to 3/22 for the 45. Cal and 3/30/15 for the 50. Calibers. But that changes, since the 45. Cal were due on 3/7/15 and just got bumped to the 3/22/15. He has no direct contact phone number. Only through website contact and response mail that's it. He works out of his home. Just look at the videos to see that. He has no ratings with BBB or any other credible organization and copies everything regarding product information, warranty and terms from Pyramyd Air company which is the leading company in the industry with awards for service and BBB --A+ ratings. I would stay away from this rude, arrogant and obnoxious man and his TopAirGun business.

Mr. Harry took the time to answer my email questions. And he answered frankly, even about the negative aspects of some air guns. He handled the money transaction smoothly, as one item on my order was out of stock. My two orders both arrived on Thursday after my purchases on Saturday and Monday. Review of his web site shows that he has taken the time and effort to test many of the air guns that he sells, and he understands how they operate. Technical information is very difficult to obtain on the internet, but he has it to offer. My transaction was very positive and topairgun.com will be at the top of my list for my next purchase.

This guy sells used items as if they were new. He lied about how much the rifle was used. He told me it was new and that he shot it a few times to make sure it was operating to specifications, then told me he had shot it hundreds of times. I have the email he sent me to prove it. He charged me full price for a used pcp air rifle. When one spends 1500 dollars one expects to get a new item this is not the case when dealing with this guy. He lives up to his name Dirty Harry. He is a very dirty dealer and his items and story's are very harry. I recommend you stay away from this dealer and use a more well known shop such as Air guns of Arizona, pyramid air and Air ordnance.
Stephen G. And his friend Robert A. Do business as Custom Air Rifles and Designs out of Hampton, Virginia. Stephan claims he is well known personally by all of the major air gun websites and that he is a factory authorized FX gunsmith as well… after checking with all of the major warehouses I deal with, no one has ever heard of Stephen especially FX.
Now that the dust has settled, what Stephen didn’t tell you was that he ordered a new FX Monsoon semi-automatic for $1624. 95 that I thoroughly tested before I shipped it to him. In order to test it, I had to shoot it a number of times; in fact, I shot it at least 90 times if you look at the stats for this air rifle on my website… to get those stats, I am sure that I shot it even more times since it was a semi-automatic. I do this so my customers like Stephen can be sure that when they receive their air guns from me that they have been tested and looked at carefully; not just taken off the shelf and shipped sight unseen.
But here is the good part, Stephen purchased the Monsoon with his friend Robert’s credit card and then Robert initiated a charge back claiming unauthorized use. Then Robert proceeded to ship the air rifle back to me along with a letter confirming that he had knowledge of the transaction and also stated that the gun was not the gun he had purchased and that it was all beat up.
The gun Robert returned was beat up all right; it was a $170.95 Gamo Big Cat that looked like it had been dragged behind a pickup for about three blocks. Robert was brilliant enough to ship the Big Cat back to me in the same FX box that I had shipped the Monsoon to Stephen. The FX box also had the Monsoon serial number written on the end of the box.
It took almost 90 days for the chargeback to be settled in my favor. Lucky for me, I had taken detailed pictures of the Monsoon before I shipped it to Stephen because I had an uneasy feeling about my dealings with him. The pictures showed the Monsoon from every angle including close ups right down to the serial number. I of course documented my charge back case with the Monsoon pictures, Robert’s letter and the Big Cat pictures. It was obvious to the charge back referee what was going on.
Stephen and his friend Robert had attempted to get a free Monsoon by claiming an unauthorized credit card transaction and then tried to pull a switch-er-ooo by returning a beat up cheap air rifle. As it turns out, Stephen and Robert are like the message says in the fortune cookie. It also turns out I am not quite as dumb as I look. Makes, My, Day….

Mr. David H. Was searching for an air rifle suitable for taking down wild pigs. I recommended a. 50 caliber Sniper estimated to be available in approximately six weeks. Mr. H. replied asking for a 10% discount and no sales tax; I politely offered free ground shipping. Meanwhile, Mr. H. found a. 45 caliber Evanix Max-ML online with a 10% discount. As a result of his extensive research the. 45 ML would be a better choice in his opinion, made it clear I knew nothing, thanked me for my time, and concluded our business.
A week later Mr. H. emailed me to report that he had received the order from “Company 10% Discount” and told me in great detail how everything had turned out to be defective… “brand new and broken.” Mr. H. concluded by asking me “how often does that happen?” Not wanting to get involved in a dispute between a competitor and Mr. H., I purposely made no comment to his email.
Then a second email from Mr. H. the same day detailing more about the defective order and asking again when the. 50 caliber Sniper would be in stock… never did he ask about a. 45 caliber Sniper being in stock. Since i had answered his question in the initial email and sensing an obvious set up, I could find no reason to compel me to answer.
Mr. H. placed no order with TopAirgun.com, never payed money; therefore, he never “waited until whenever…” yet Mr. H. demonstrates that he is the expert on in stock dates; dates that keep being “bumped” as pointed out by him. The truth is no one knows for sure; that is the reason for projections and estimates. An estimate does not equal “set in stone.”

While an un-home business and a good BBB rating are great, neither are a guarantee of credibility nor “Reliability.” Wearing green on St. Patrick’s Day doesn’t make a person Irish any more than standing in a garage makes a person a car. To quote a well known politician: “What difference at this point does, it, make?”
Of note, the internet had its beginning in a home garage and the majority of product information is written by the manufacturer.
Even though I am extremely busy with paid orders, I make it a point to personally answer customer questions in a timely manner. On the other hand, a quick way to wind up at the top of my “no reply” list and for sure my “no ship” list is to expect an answer to emails that are booby trapped, argumentative and have previously been answered.
