“Never ever spend your money on credits on bidding”

Katerina U.
9/26/14

Never ever spend your money on credits on bidding. This website is a scam and you will spend a lot and will never get anything. This is how it works - you just buy credits, e.g. 30 credits for 15 pounds then you start bidding, but you NEVER win! This website has got loads of bots who are bidding automatically and winning the auctions. You will never ever get a chance to win so don't even think of spending your money on this awful scam!

Like many I saw what appeared to be an article in Microsoft MSN home page. I then was stung for £50. It took 10 minuets to realise it was a scam. I then started to claim my money back, that is when the fun started. I have to say that I am now taking action against Paypal who have continued to take money from a company that they know are not trading legally from 2015, as far as I can see from the complaints Paypal are well aware of the scam. Paypal refused to return my money from the swoggi account where they probably hold thousands of pounds. I told Pay pal that I consider they are aiding and abetting a scam knowingly taking money after thousands of people have complained for several years. I have sent them the reports that indicate without doubt this swoggi do not respect the law.

I did contact Microsoft and report this site and the misleading article on MSN that was actually an ad. It has been taken down on my feed but I do not know if it is still on other feeds. After reading this report by the ASA advertising standards published in February 2017, it explains in detail how swoggi brake all the advertising standards codes of practice, swoggi were instructed to change the way its site works and the ad I saw must also be changed. Obviously they did not so I again reported this to the ASA. The report can be read here at this link, it will cover every point that thousands of complainants have made: https://www.asa.org.uk/rulings/sophora-media-ltd-a16-*******.html. I have also reported it to the Fraud Police, it is time we all made a stand and stop this. I will advise any person to do the same. It only take 20 minuets.

Swoiggi ignore the law because they are based in Honk Kong, the London office is just a front to allow them to trade in the UK. I looked at their company details in company house, I saw their trading accounts that does not reflect a very large scam company that reports it made very little money, Inland Revenue should also investigate a company that is listed as dormant that is trading. I also traced the UK hosting site that I believe is based in Manchester, this should also be looked at by the police for aiding a scam to trade.

If you are reading this because you have been scammed do something about it. Write a complaint to Paypal or the credit card company you paid with, report it to the Fraud Police, report it to the place you saw the ad that has been recorded by the ASA as misleading. They must be stopped. I have told swoggi customer services I will not stop till they are shut down.

*******@swoggi.com. Juniper Global. Sophora Media Ltd,
I closed my account with the clear expectation that my funds with you would be refunded.

The account was closed by you without any reference to my £50.00 funds

It is clear that the site you are operating is a scam and you are falsely presenting yourself when you are a gaming site not complying in any way with the new UK gaming act.
At no time did you require that I agree with any TC's and having looked at them later they do not comply with fair practice and are therefore illegal.
The Paypal transaction details, from you, stated clearly that before taking any payment I would have the ability to check and reject payment. This did not happen and does not take place with any transaction from you for Paypal.

I have made a formal complaint to Paypal and cannot believe they continue operating with you. I have required a full refund of the £50 stolen from my account and for Paypal to pursue this and hopefully with the widespread complaints against your company Paypal will close your account with you, as they should do.

I have also copied Paypal with detail of the widespread complaints against your many trading names and the details of your scamming of many, many people.

I await a prompt and immediate response, although if the reviews of your company are anything to go by, it may be a long time in coming
Sincerely
Jim

A 100% scam. Protects itself by falsely presenting itself as a genuine auction web site. It is clear you are playing against the house and your credits are being ramped up to the point that you are paying a massively inflated price for items. The advertised items are a false representation of what is happening to items and are being used to advertise not reflect the truth on the site. The many advertising reviews of this site are being self generated and are in no way honest or true. The claims being made by reviewers in supposedly genuine reviews is false and even more so it inaccurate even in it's content.
Paypal protects the site and is comfortable in disallowing any claims against this website on the grounds falsely claimed by the web owners Juniper Global Sophora Media Ltd, Paypal showed throughout this dispute their contempt for customers and indicates their protection to be worthless.
You are well warned to stay right away from this mode of trading as it is clearly flawed, flagrantly biased against the customer and manned by crooks.
