Twice in a row, I bought high dollar phones that turned out to be different than described. The staff has an attitude problem too. I closed my account today and never want to buy anything from anyone on there again.

Sellers are simple and straight forward and most importantly, verified! I've bought 5 iPhones for me and my fam and haven't regretted a single second! Totally fast and efficient and worth checking out!

Sold laptop on this site. The pay system Swappa uses is PayPal. PayPal refuses to transfer my funds to my bank. Swappa's reply was - "Swappa can't help you".
All they care about is getting their cut. After that, they will not help you get paid.

I have bought and sold several iPhones and Apple Watches for myself and family on Swappa over the years. It's sooo easy to use, and when buying I like how many filtering and sorting options they have so you can find the exact device you want at the price you want.

Way less hassle than FB Marketplace because you have a wider selection and don't have to set aside time to meet in person.

When selling, I get way more for my old devices than when doing trade-in.

I commented on a post of an iPad 7th gen sealed in box 32 gen WiFi for $335 instead of $329 brand new on apples website that I didn't understand why he was selling it for more. Then a staff, Heather K, told me that my comment was somehow inappropriate and removed it. That guy selling the iPad is scamming and she is letting them get away with it! That isn't normal!

Bought a few phones over time this time purchases a "mint" condition Samsung that when I went to T Mobile to activate although the IEM check showed unlocked when the sun card was inserted it showed locked and was unable to activate.Thankfully the T Mobile staff were kind enough to exchange it for a new phone with à small additional fee since it was a TMobile phone

Many phones are sold locked and you will not see it when doing an IMEI search. Their canned response if a problem = contact PayPal or credit company. The locked phones issue widely prevails and Swappa ignores it. Don't buy or sell here.

The seller was super quick to reply with any questions I had and the phone was just as described and at a great price!

I think Swappa is the best place to go for used cell phones and laptops. Zero scams, great review system, etc... I use them regularly to buy MacBooks for new developers at our company.

I've bought 3 cell phones, a laptop, and a smartwatch on swappa. Much easier/faster/more reliable than wading through the crap on ebay or amazon.

I have used Swappa in the past, and the sellers on this site are prompt, and the products arrive as advertised. I will continue to use this site as long as I continue to find good, quality products at reasonable prices and by reliable sellers.

Horrible! BEWARE! I went to purchase a phone on Swappa from a seller named pdx cellular. They took my money from my card then said they don't accept my payment method. I reported the issue to swappa. They gave me a hard time saying I couldn't show them my emails from card but i have to show them proof by logging in my account. They said the payment is pending and it'll come back on my card in a few days. Its been a week and they still haven't released my money. Swappa or the seller doesn't list phone numbers to contact either on of them. You can only reach Swappa threw email. I can prove all of this threw the emails back in forth between me and Swappa. DONT USE THIS SITE!

My journey began when my original SWAPPA account was abruptly closed without any clear justification. Seeking to resolve this issue and continue my activities, I created a new account, linked it to my PayPal (which is verified), and resumed browsing phones, contemplating my next purchase. However, before I could make any purchase, SWAPPA inexplicably closed my new account as well, leaving a terse message: "Your account is inactive."

In an attempt to understand the reason behind these closures and seek a resolution, I reached out to SWAPPA multiple times through emails and even tried to contact them via Instagram. My efforts were met with silence; not a single response was received, nor did they acknowledge my attempts to communicate. This lack of response raises significant concerns about what would have happened if I had placed an order and my account was closed in a similar fashion. Would I have been left out in the cold, with no recourse or way to receive the product I paid for?

This experience has been eye-opening and deeply disappointing. A platform that operates in the realm of online sales must uphold a standard of communication and respect towards its users. The complete disregard for customer service and the opaque nature of the account management process at SWAPPA is alarming.

I'm sharing this story as a caution to others who might consider using SWAPPA for their electronics purchases. It's crucial to be aware of the potential issues you might face, including unjust account closures and a startling lack of communication from the company. A marketplace that fails to engage with and respect its customers raises serious questions about its reliability and trustworthiness.

Swappa makes things easy to sell. It is scary figuring out who can screw you, but this site is full of great people.

There was an error on their site and I immediately told them I didn't place an order. They ignored the message, and ended up shipping me an item for hundreds of dollars. This is already really poor execution, but then they wouldn't even send me a shipping label to send it back. You'll see a case in BBB about this. They're just washing their hands of it. Hard to believe this kind of thing goes on in America these days. Buy from somewhere else, frankly anywhere else.

This is the second time I've used Swappa to buy an electronic device and I've been extremely satisfied with this service. I've had no issues and love how easy it is to get a basically new product for much less than I would pay to get it new from Apple. Others' experience could vary depending on the seller I'm sure but Swappa seems to do a good job of vetting who is selling stuff on their site.

Ordered 2 different phones at 2 different times and both phones came in better shape than the description that was given amazing website

Just bought a macbook air here for a great price, have bought phones and such on the site before and it has always been great.

Zero communication from the 3rd party seller for 72 hours, where finally a shipping label was created but still never shipped. Rather than the seller finally communicating a shipping date, they retaliated against a Paypal claim and had my account banned. Facebook/eBay/Reddit/Back Market/Gazelle are all better options. Save yourself the headache as Swappa's support seems to be run by teenagers.

You always can compare prices, check seller reviews and so far I am very please using this site (I only buy from here).
