“Totally awful, unprofessional, and deceiving!”

Well, I'm now praying that i actually get my refund. Placed order last night, then heard bad reviews on how they don't include batteries for cameras ( battery is $50! Extra, so there goes your savings!) Called to cancel, and they were so sarcastic, and rude about it. Like we're supposed just know and enjoy that we're being deceived! Just spend the extra little bit $, and order through a reputable company. Shouldve known when I read "no returns after 7 days"... who does that?

Like so many of the reviews here, the customer service is horrendous. The representative talked over me, told me that it doesn't "take a rocket scientist" to realize an order isn't coming 3 months late, refused to stopped talking to listen to my question, and hung up on me. Rude. Unprofessional. Nasty. I'm so glad that they were the ones who canceled my order as I would have filed a dispute through my credit card company immediately. Please do not order from them. In my case, I never got the product anyway.

I ordered a camera. I was asked to call to confirm it. When I called they said I forgot to order a battery for the camera. Since I had order several of these cameras before from other sources, I knew it was supposed to come with a battery. Obviously this was not a new camera. Jerry, the man on the phone nasty and rude beyond believe. Luckily I cancelled my order before I got it. Beware!

I called to check on an order and he told me that it would be 2 weeks before they would get this camera in. I asked to cancel the order and he hung up on me. I kept trying to call and the guy told me that I don't have to keep calling (the have caller id that is how they knew). All I wanted was an email stating the my order would be canceled. Do nut deal with these people what a scam

The guy on the phone, (he sounds Asian) was extremely rude and quick to hang up on me and dismiss my question! DO NOT order from these guys. I wanted to buy a canon 80D but they were selling the international version instead and said it was the USA version. It didn't come with the charger or battery or anything else. Just the body!

Digital4less.com and powersellerdigital.com also run by stylusdeals.com. They ship the wrong item and then demand a 15% restocking fee. The attorney general is investigating them. SCAMMERS!

I purchased one camera from stylus deals, and it works great. I purchased the same exact camera for my office and it works terribly. I called to ask about having it fixed and the very unhelpful customer service rep said there was nothing they could do. I am trying to get it fixed through Nikon under their 1 year warranty, but Stylus deals did not include the warranty card in the box, called to ask about it and again, nothing they can do. They will sell you a camera for cheap, but will not be able to help you if it doesn't work. Spend the extra money and buy it from a reputable site.

They advertise at low prices and then after you call several weeks later to get a status update tell you that they do not have the material. Hope they are PCI compliant and they do not resell your credit card number.

I ordered a Nikon D3400 from these guys for a total cost of $333.00 as advertised on their web site. I received an email confirmation of my order, but there was no invoice or amount paid on the email. Within a few days of placing my order, I received an email that said call Bruce at their number and ask for Ext 1. I initially ignored this but then I got a couple of more emails and then a phone call. When I returned the phone call, the guy asked me for my security code from my card, and he also sold me a $50.00 battery. When I received the camera, there was an invoice in the box, not for $333.00, but for $468.95! I tried to call today to speak to customer service; however, they had gone home for the day. I have no record of what I ordered since there was no opportunity to print a receipt. I think I have been screwed by these people. In addition to this, the camera box had in it, a battery charger, a strap, and a plastic bag which I assume held the battery before it was removed from the box. I have notified my credit card company. I am returning this camera on principle. I will suck it up and pay the 15% restocking fee and buy the camera else where rather than play in to these deceptive folks. I would have given these guys no stars but that was not an option. Stay away from these people.

Like everyone else on this site, I was scammed by this company. I was sent an open box/used camera missing items. When I called, they said I could return for a 15% restock fee. I chose to work through my bank and got my $ back. They wouldn't even give me their address to send back.

Received what I thought I was purchasing as a new camera and it had many issues so when I called Stylus back to see about warranty and replacement they wanted nothing to do with it and told me to call Nikon. I called Nikon and they informed me this company is NOT an authorized dealer and that my camera was NOT new as they do not even make them any longer.

I ordered a Nikon digital camera from Stylus Deals, whose price was $159 with free shipping, $60 or $70 less than most other dealers. I was suspicious, but couldn't find anything to support that on their web site. They gave no details at all about what was included with the camera, but I assumed that at least the basics were included, which was all I needed. So I ordered it. Someone called the next day to confirm my zip code and to tell me that I had a choice of a 2-hour or 7-hour battery, and he quickly gave prices for them. I was confused, since I wasn't expecting anything like that, and asked him to repeat the price of the 7-hour battery, which I heard as $14. So I went with that, resigned to paying $173 rather than $159, still cheap. The camera arrived remarkably quickly, the next day. But the receipt was for $209 (plus tax), not $159 or $173. I called the next day to question it, and the same person who'd called me before was rude and impatient, saying that he'd told me the cost of the battery and the charger, which came to an absurd $50 combined. I asked what I'd need to do to return those items and keep the camera, and he said I'd need to return the whole package then he'd reship the camera, but I'd have to pay shipping both ways, $15-$18 each way. He was rude and offensive with every response, now that he had my money and credit card. I dropped it, having no option, but I hope no one else buys from this outfit.

Tip for consumers:
Don't use it.

They are unprofessional, extremely short and rude on the phone, sell products they don't have, and strip them down in order to sell the parts individually! Never ever order from them! My experience is very similar to other reviews. I ordered an older model camera, so was not as concerned about the price difference and looked at reviews prior to making my purchase at the end of November. (Interesting how many reviews have since been written! I wish they had been there before I ordered.) Shortly after my order I got a call to inform me of two things 1. They did not actually have the camera in the color that I ordered and since I didn't want a different color that they would have it in stock in a couple of weeks and 2. That it did not come with a battery (camera's don't come with batteries, didn't I know that!) and did I want the two hour or seven hour one added on. I told them I didn't want to order one, did some research that said the camera should come with a battery from the vendor and that their webpage doesn't say anything about the cameras not coming with batteries. I e-mailed them with this information (although I never got a response). After four weeks I had not received the camera or any further communication, so I e-mailed them to get an ETA and never got a response. At 5 weeks I called them and asked about the delivery status and was told in a very impatient voice that they didn't have it and I would have to wait another 4 weeks. At that point I cancelled my order. I can only thank my lucky stars that they didn't have the product in stock, so they never charged my credit card.

I placed an order and didn't get an acknowledgement of the order. When I called up to check on the order, they tried to sell me a battery to go with the phone, as I didn't order a battery. The phone was at a great price, but the battery was absurdly expensive. After I declined that battery and checked on the ETA, the camera was on back order for "about two weeks". I was curious about "not ordering a battery", so I asked if the camera came with a battery. No it does not. That means that they are opening the boxes and selling the camera separately; at best; or selling used merchandise as new; at worst. I should have known when their prices were so much lower than everyone else.

The bottom line is that they are master crooks! RUN LIKE HELL! I ordered a camera i got an email confirmation that my order was being processed. However, there was no dollar amount on the confirmation. The next day I get an email to call and confirm my order. I called and spoke with Jerry and he asked me what kind of battery did I want with the camera; the standard one or the 7 hour battery. I asked if a battery came with the unit and he told me no. I was traveling with co workers and couldn't really talk. I said i wanted the 7 hour one and he said "good choice" since it was only $5.00 more for the better battery. The original price for the camera was approximately $229 by the time I got the bill the camera with accessories was $318. The camera should have come with the battery in the box. It even said that the battery was included in the box. These people give internet businesses a bad name! This is the first time that this has happened to me and hopefully the last! I will say it again... RUN LIKE HELL! DO NOT BUY FROM THESE THIEVES! Here the old bait and switch is alive and well!

My husband bought what he assumed was a brand new underwater digital camera for $99 from this StylusDeals.com in August of 2016. First came the extra charge for the battery. Then the camera arrived in a plain white box with a black and white label, not in the original box that a new one would come in. They also sent him several items he didn't order and charged him for those, for a total of $168. When he called to say he wanted to return the camera because it was refurbished, not new as he was led to believe, they told him they'd have to receive it in two days--and it was a Friday afternoon.

So we disputed the charge with the credit card company. It was resolved in their favor because Stylus Deals told Discover they'd give us a full refund if we sent the camera back. All we had to do was call and get a return authorization number and the address.

I have never been through so much grief to make a return.

When I called, I was informed that no, we would have to pay for restocking and shipping, what they'd written to Discover ("We aren't charging the cardholder a restocking fee.") referred to how they would have handled it if we'd returned it in August when my husband bought the camera. Furthermore, before they'd give us an RMA number, my husband had to sign a form stating that he would not dispute those fees with Discover.

He signed the form and we emailed the PDF to them. They said they couldn't open it, so I had to drive to the UPS store and pay $2 to fax the form to them. Finally, we got the RMA number and sent it off on Nov. 9. UPS verified that it was delivered on Nov. 11.

When no refund was given, I contacted Discover on Nov. 28. They connected me with an "agent of the company" who said the package arrived Nov. 23 and we'd be getting our refund Dec. 2. There was no refund, even though they had agreed in writing to issue one and had acknowledged receiving the returned item. Discover has since given us a courtesy adjustment for the full amount.

It's obvious that Stylus Deals intentionally misrepresents its merchandise, chargex for additional items without customer authorization, and then does everything it can to make returns extremely difficult, expecting customers to just give up and take the loss. That's how they make their money. Certainly not through return business.

If you have been scammed by this company, I would strongly recommend disputing it with your credit card company. And document everything. We were lucky. We got our money back.

This site uses a lot of bait and switch tactics. Please be careful. They advertise that batteries are included when they are not. I was told it was a typo on their site and they were not legally responsible for typos. I agreed to pay for the camera and battery despite saying it was included and then they charged me $55 extra for a charger that was not discussed as well as a handling fee. In order to return things you are responsible for at least a 15% restocking fee which is the minimum so expect to pay much more as this is the way they do business. I was scammed for a total of $124. PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
Please also note their customer service is horrific.
