I would like to give my opinion today on Souq, this respectable site that fulfills all your desires and they have a lot of things out of all the products for me. I recently bought an iPhone and a bunch of other accessories, the products were good and in excellent condition, the packaging was very good, the delivery speed was very good. This shopping site is very excellent and I deal with it personally and I buy everything I need from here and they have the ability to fulfill the order in the shortest possible time and there are people who are really professional in both preparing the shipment, taking care of it and following up as they also have a customer service team for shopping, selling, after-sales service and asking for opinions About their product and reassuring that the product will reach you and fulfill everything you need,
I can not believe Amazon bought Souq because seriously they are destroying Aamazon brand name. Worst customer Service ever, and now they have came up with a new tactic, they would not let you write a bad review on their website and throws an error "Sorry, your review wasn't submitted due to an error, please try again" Trust me I have tried multiple times and every time I got the same error.
I bout a perfume and they sent me a fake one. They filled a used container with some terribly smelly liquid and charged me about 50$. You are warned! DONT BUY anything from here. There is a reason behind their cheap price tags
During the past 3 orders at least which span almost a year now, there is always an item that isn't the that was ordered. Always giving an alternative and seem to hope that no one notices. And we always have to call them and they tell us it is a mistake and then they give us the correct item after more than a week. Horrible service and bunch of liars.

They will always deliver the wrong item for you so take extra care of that to not get scammed

This was the worst delivery service. I have used and been a prime member at Amazon.com for years. Then I ordered an item off Amazon.ae. I was called the day before it was due to be delivered and told that they won't deliver the item and that I'd have to go 4 hours away if I wanted to come get it. Then I noticed it was recorded online that "I" wanted to pick it up and then it was marked "Delivered". What kind of business is this? I've never felt so scammed.
The 1st one was very fast within 1 day i received the item (xbox controller) it's still working... then 2nd I odered a tripod for phone it was a fake it was just damaged and I returned... 3rd I ordered a Samsung tv even though the item was amazing but there was few problems so they said they will take back and will give... mashallah I had good experience correct refund and good response to customers... but I had an important thing to say that always buy Souq fulfilled items or other May be fake...
I recently purchased a mobile device from this website, i got a defective device, when i tried to return the item, they do not accept it and they are saying that the device working fine, the customer service is the worst, do not believe their warranty of 2 years, there is no buyer protection in this website, my advice s do not use this website to buy even a single item, also they sell many fake products, you cannot expect genuine items from them, use other websites like noon.com.
Second time to buy from them and they sold a fake products as its original, i bought a perfume then i returned it on 21/5 till now I didn't receive my money back. Will never buy anything from them again

I ordered a Curtain(Livingroom) from souq as it was such a beautiful photo. When I received the product it was just a plastic sheet like a bathroom curtain. They then took the product back. I ordered a shoe from their website for the same amount. After 4 days I call them about the delivery and they said that the product is not available. Then I ordered some decorative golden mirror butterflies! To my surprise I got yellow matte colored paper cuttings!

I had ordered 3 perfumes and one hair fibre. It shows I had to pay Sr 364.71. My parcel did come today with only my 3 perfume bottles 2 of Jaguar and 1 of Elizabeth Arden. My hair fiber didn't come, but the price I had to pay was 397 SR. I was shocked. I asked the delivery boy, he said ask the customer service. I am not happy with the service.
Honestly. I have bought numerous items from souq for months. With little mistakes here and there and refunds whenever applicable, the problem is with souq is the problem with every other service in the UAE. A bunch of customer service guys who are so limited to help you and can only raise a ticket. My last ticket was 4 weeks in that time I completely stopped using souq. They deliver water and food items hotter than the temperature of the weather. Over 50 degrees all melted, they outsource delivery to a horrible company where all the drivers don't know any locations and call you for days while they drive with your products till they become melted sand. The last straw for me was waiting 4 weeks for a refund calling 5 times in 4 weeks with 0 result or care from anyone there and in the end they gave me my money in the form of wallet coins. My advise. Wait a year or more before using souq.com until amazon cleans it up completely before you buy anything... because souq people are still there. And trust me they say sorry and we are doing our best. But that's far from the truth. And if even a little bit of excess orders can delay everything and completely ruin your experience...
1. Unable to purchase as it doesn't give an option for delivery which is an address which I have been received many times before for orders. I did follow up after follow up but no use as irresponsible people attending the call and doesn't bother to take further resolution on the complaint
2. Customer service - Extremely poor... its now weeks since I complained... No one even bothered to give a call back to update... nor resolved...
3. Many of the products now I find much cheaper in the market and I dont see its worth doing shopping on line when you are supposed to be cheaper and reliable on cost effective purchases.
Ive tried to avoid a shipment delay given that some of the goods Ive ordered might not stand the spring heats of the Arabian peninsula, the customer service were not responsive at all out of three emails Ive sent Ive gotten one response blaming the problem on the shipment company that souq.com acquired not long time ago, it was like go talk to them thats not our problem an amazon company hu! What a pathetic slogan Souq.com shame on you. I dont recommend this site given that Ive not collected my good nor gotten any refund till this moment.

I had a consistent delay of 5-7 products i've ordered. U can contact then on their facebook page. But rarely can do any help. If there is another choice, dont go for souq.com. And if u want to add a review on the website/page.it will just say error pls try again. Then again and again.

Souq.com has by far the worst customer service representatives. Ugly attitude and very unprofessional.
I had to cancel my order due to the horrible service that I received and I had asked two representatives to have a manager contact me and was promised yesterday that within 2 hours I will receive a call from someone but again false promise and nobody has called.
It was my first order with souq.com and the last for sure. And I will make sure to spread the word of the horrible experience I had.
I was order Bluetooth headset. After five days it doesn't work. I called many times. Always they send massage. """Our courier pick up your Souq.com return order today from the registered address. If you wish to reschedule please call *******"" until now no one come. Please please please if you can't send some one don't send massage. U guys wasting my time.! I'm really disappointed souq.com!
Those people at souq.com delivered to me broken package and they refuse to take it back and refund the money. Those people should be in Jail. Now they posted on the site that the product is delivered, What they deliver to me is two broken jars of Honey. The delivery boy calls every couple of days to tell me he's coming to collect it, but he never shows up.
I don't know how these people are still running a business in Egypt.
I have very very bad history with souq and i have problem till now do not solve from 46 days and i try by every way but him do not care about any problem for customer and him take my money and do not give me my item till now from 22 march
Wrong product delivered, the ordered which i had placed was not the same as i received, i wrote n number of mails to souq customer but every time i got a reply saying that they are sorry to hear and will get your query resolved... when i asked for a refund or exchange these people say thats not the policy... SERIOUSLY!
Neither i got the phone exchanged nor i got my refund...
Advice to all - Do not purchase things from Souq (#####)
It has been 1 WEEK since I ordered from souq. Website tracking says "DELIVERED" but I STILL haven't received my order. I have followed up several times with their customer support- it seems like nobody is taking action/ quick action is not taken. Not to mention order is "FULFILLED BY SOUQ".
Refund system is also taking WAY too long. They promise 5-7 days. Until now, my refund (on a cancelled order) hasn't returned.
Truly disappointing. Better opt for CASH ON DELIVERY or trust another website.
For approximately 10 days Im following up with Q express to arrange for a pickup to return an item. Im a regular buyer from Souq and Im really frustrated about the incompetence and non commercial rofessional behaviour of Q express. I have been calling the call centre and I have escalated complaints to 2 managers but the result is the same - courier never shows up. Its a disgrace to the company that they are not even able to give me a proper commitment on a confirmed pickup. Im really frustrated and annoyed to deal with Q express
I have ordered a lot of items here, but from time to time I get to recieved fake items which they refund but the problem is when you leave a comment on that fake item/sellers account, souq will not accept your review and will tell you the it was a complaint. How are we suppose to tell other people that a specific seller is selling fake items or trying to fool other people if they only accept positive reviews?
