I tried Sling for a whole 2days over a month ago and decided to cancel the service since it was no better than streaming or watching regular tv. Well, Sling thirsty behind had the audacity to reactivate the account (01/15/23) and STEAL $86 from my credit card used when I activated the service. Calling my bank to dispute the theft. EVERYONE WILL KNOW YOU STOLE FROM ME SLING, I will post on every site until I get my money back.

Where do I start... General viewing...like spinning wheels while Sling "catches up" or resets 15 seconds Menu guide - great grid...three channels listed at bottom blank, all shows offset in grid by multiple spaces Browse Whole Viewing...turn it off or really weird stuff happens. Customer Service - exercise in frustration to non existent. You keep being you Sling...rocking the 1.8 rating.

Sling could and should do better. They should back their service with refunds when the service is reliably unreliable.

Very poor customer service. Sling never worked well in my home. Canceled before my due date. Still charged again on my card. Constantly spinning and buffering. Fubo does not do this. Refused to give refund even though not working and cancelation was in time.please do not use them.No customer service telephone number. Convenient for them to say "did not get the cancellation "

I tried Sling tv and it was the worst I have ever seen. The resolution constantly switched from bad to worse. Unable to get any help, I decided to try Youtube TV and it was great. Then I realized that about the only streaming service that doesen't offer a free trial was Sling TV. Don't sign up for this service unless you can get a free trial. I found out the hard way! I added my dispute of the charge as proof of purchase.

Tip for consumers:
I am far from being the only one with this complaint. Check the reviews before you try Sling!!!

Cancelled subscription, didn't take my card off file, restarted service without my authorization. Wouldn't give me a refund, no security measures, no escalations, customer service rude as f. I would advise you to stream elsewhere. The service sucks, prices and add ons are way too high for what's offered. Frequent price increases and again customer service is anally rude.

Tip for consumers:
They offer no solutions and deflect blame, service is shoddy, but expensive, buffers all the time glitches. Service went from $25 to $60 within three months. Customer service was rude and offered no solutions. Deflected mistakes on their behalf and hung up in my face.

I endured this service for a year and a half. The BIGGEST issue was the constant buffering and signal loss. I jumped through all the troubleshooting hoops to make sure none of my other devices were stealing bandwidth away to no avail. The antenna that I receive my internet signal from is about two miles away and I have a direct clear line of site from my house. I can actually see it.

I had the same routine everyday. Come home, unplug the tv (before turning on) so it will reset itself (Because it would never be ready to use without the hard reset). Proceed to watch tv and then have to do the hard reset at least 4-6 more times a night. This is not an exaggeration people. This service will drive you insane.

They don't carry cbs either which means I miss a few bears games every year unless I make other arrangements.

In conclusion, I switched over to YouTube tv one day and I don't have the signal loss/buffering at all. Completely gone. It's like back-to-normal tv now. What a huge relief! You have been warned.

I canceled sling but they are still charging me. I want my money back. The channel to contact provide does not work.

This is one of the worst streaming companies I have had to deal with. Amazon, Netflix, and Hulu don't treat their customer like that. Only sling charge you for the service I never used, they are saying, because it is in their policy, with no refund whatsoever. People do your homework before signing up with Sling. I wish I could give them no star at all.

I purchased this under the premise of 50% off my 1st month, a new total of $20. At checkout, the total changed to $30. My card statement was for $40. Then I had no access to any of my local channels to watch the games that I originally wanted this for. I tried to cancel it, but was told I couldn't because it was a prepaid subscription without refund options. Do not waste your time or your money on this, you will be very disappointed.

The app is very bad. It stops and starts all the time. The customer service is nonexistent. No phone number to contact anyone. Too bad they have many great channels!

I think it offers a lot, for the price. It has good content, lots of on-demand options and the 50 hours of free recording are fine for me. But I have lots of loading issues. And I recorded a preseason game, that kept replaying on NFL Network but, when I tried to watch the recording, it was supposedly blacked out in my area. And I was watching a show that I had recorded and, right in the middle of an interview, the screen went black, with no sound. When I fast forwarded it, I could see the interview in the small screen. 20 minutes of the 60 minute show were like that! And the fact that you can't fast forward through commercials, when you're behind, is infuriating. I also hate that it no longer works with VPNs. That sucks because when I'm in my second home(Madagascar) I like to still be able to see my favorite MSNBC shows. For some reason, you're not allowed to watch American broadcasts there. I guess I won't be able to keep it, when I move there. For all the bad, there is still a lot of good.

The service itself is fine. Nothing special, just fine. No surprise then that when a problem does come up (in our case an error code) they had no interest in fixing it or offering a refund. We contacted them multiple times concerning the same issue. It was an error that they needed to resolve, not something we could fix on our end. Finally cancelled and moved to a different service.

Sling in general has awful customer support. In addition, stopping the service was a nightmare. After canceling the service, if you click on the icon from ANY of your devices for ANY period of time, it automatically renews the service without letting you know. If you have kids on devices, you can imagine the problem. When I called again to get it cancelled again, they told me there is nothing they can do. Bad company, bad customer services, you are better off going with another streaming service.

I only subscribed to Sling.com for Wimbledon 2023, but after YEARS of dissatisfaction with ESPN, I have to say that Sling.com's coverage of Wimbledon 2023 was OUTSTANDING. I saw the BEST matches up close and personal compared to the diciest matches on ESPN on court 300. The only thing that surpasses Sling's coverage was HBO's coverage of Wimbledon years ago. That, too, was outstanding. I will subscribe to it every year going forward for Wimbledon. Thank you, Sling.com, for Wimbledon. Tennis is one of the few secret pleasures and you allowed me to watch the very best of it. Thank you kindly.

Purchased sling tv to think I could watch march madness with the sports package and couldn't get CBS games or any local channels. Used it for 1 day and called up customer service and stated they can't refund the money. Stuck with a service that I don't want that I can't watch what I want to watch. The heck with Sling TV. Can't believe they won't refund money. Ridiculous

I purchased a "football" package shortly before the season started and I was very excited. I'm not so excited anymore. The programming inexplicably cuts out and after several seconds comes back on. This really interrupts your mood while watching a show. Furthermore, Sling intentionally cuts off at least ten seconds of their programming at every commercial break. Now that may not sound like much but a lot happens in the last ten seconds of a show, all so they can hit you with even more commercials. When I signed up nothing was mentioned about only receiving partial shows. In my book that's fraudulent. And to add insult to injury they will play a Sling commercial with no content for thirty seconds before they didn't sell enough time for actual commercials. For me, when it's time to renew, I will leave and never look back even if they fix everything.

6 days and counting to restore service.
Was told of large backlog causing delay.
Was told it was ok to switch to HULU by customer support representatives if i can't wait till billing gets their stuff together.
Read article on how last quarter Sling was loosing customers and stock was on a downward spiral.
GEE YA THINK THEY WOULD GET THEIR S*#T TOGETHER BY NOW!
If my problem is not resolved in 2 more days,ANOTHER SERVICE WILL BE USED BY THEIR OWN RECOMMENDATION..

My set up is sling blue/base channel package/ sports extra gives me all of the package add ons for 20 bucks the basic service is 30 bucks and the sports addon is 10 for a total of about 60 bucks I have all the channels I want or need with 3 streams and 200 hours of dvr time, all that is good however, Sling used to have a menu where you could press the star key and get the information and about a program about a year or so ago they changed it and now it is very difficult to use there are some programs that give you info and some that do not they just go directly to that show very confusing, couple of other things I noticed is that there seems to be a lag when scrolling through the menu but that may be my roku or possibly my internet company also sometimes when my roku/tv cuts off the program I was watching is not in the continue watching list, so if I don't remember the title of the program I am screwed at finding it again to finish watching it. For the most part I am happy with the service and when I have had the inclination to talk to customer service they have been helpful, polite and responsive and generally have fixed my issue.

Signed up for SlingTV approx 6pm. Tried for >30 mins, logged out/in of both ESPN & SlingTV. Even went to their "Help Center" where there was a notice that they were having technical issues. Gave up and went elsewhere to watch CFP games. Cancelled 6am this morning (12 hrs later) to be told that the stream eventually started at 7pm and I watched it. Obviously I did not since I wasn't home. And now I have service for the full month that I did not want.

So i have had overpriced sling for a while. My payment method changed i tried to log on to change my payment option and they just make it difficult. Edit payment is hard to find. When i went into the payment it says i signed up through Google however i didn't i use an email and password. Then it doesn't give you an option to put another form of payment. Just frustrating. I was paying $93 a,month for some years now. Now it all ends because they make updating the payment difficult. Plus the service is shaky everytime there's a big game or fight. Sling has gone down significantly

Sling is the worst cable company ever they are charging me twice for my email I paid for the month of March already and they are still trying to collect saying I'm past due but I'm not I have to wait 10 days for a solution don't not subscribe to sling because you can't talk to higher management this company needs to be put out of business

I have the best of the best when it come to internet access and wifi access and sling is the only app that I Constantly and I mean constantly have issues. It constantly freezes and just stops for absolutely no reason, so annoying, and the company sling is ripping ppl off of their hard earned money and not putting money back into the company to produce a quality entrainment service.

Their DVR feature stopped seriously short this evening when it decided to stop recording 30 min before the event actually concluded. The ONLY response the low-functioning single digit I.Q.; clock-puncher chat agent could muster was, "there is nothing we can do...that is our Policy and Procedure'. This was repeated several times as if the so-called chat support agent assumed I was deaf and dumb. While I am definitely not a rocket scientist, it wasn't a reach to figure out that "troubleshooting My Account" wasn't what caused the SLING DVR to stop recording a show because a specified hour was up. The DVR isn't located on any of my devices or my Settings account. I clicked on a specific sports event and the App responded with a confirmation it was going to record that event. What does my account have to do with that? With no help offered I simply asked the bot-like creature on the other end of the chat, 'why I should remain a SLING customer if that is what i can expect when I ask for support?, and no answer was forthcoming, only a 'friendly' invitation to cancel my account. I never mentioned or asked to cancel my account...I merely wanted a reason to STAY a customer. Shame on you SLING!

I have been duped one too many times by Sling's cancelation failures. They have set up a cancelation system that does not cancel your credit card from billing you! I was not refunded my money when this happened to me on 2/19/24. They stole my money using this easy to cancel system! BEWARE!

Can NOT watch more that few seconds without being bombarded with zillions adds and it repeats over and over the actual show being watched, and we end up not getting the story nor the show. It is becoming impossible to use sling for watching, we have to resort to Youtube to get our shows. This is unacceptable and very discriminating, everyone I talked to, they have the same issue, I just recorded on my phone 6 minutes of cooking show where I was trying to watch a chef recipe, and out of the 6 minutes, I barely heard less than a minute total broken up with over 5 minutes of ads (and many duplicate of them) and could not get any thing. Rewind several times and the same thing happens, I would say I spent over an hour trying to get to watch and always get the broken by ads that runs over the show and you miss everything as if not watching anything, and the same thing happens on other sling channels. What are we paying for? I suppose for this mess, they should we be paying us to watch all of these ads because we don't get to watch any shows, only few broken words between many many ads which make it useless
