“Unfinished Work / Incorrect Measurements.”

I purchased flooring from the Lancaster location to cover my whole 1st floor (about 1350sqft worth). Dave was very helpful through the whole process and so he earned our trust. Everything went well till the installers ran out of material. I figured no big deal these things happen. Dave and his store manager said they would cover the extra flooring they were short. I thought that was fair considering Dave's calculations were incorrect by about 200sqft. I was told this would take at least a week, ok. This was July 31st. Aug 13th I still haven't heard from Dave so I went in to the store. Store manager tells me they wont have material till at least Sept 1st and the earliest they could install "might be" mid Sept! So now I have my office space, Foyer, and 1/3 of my living room completely bare for my family and friends to keep asking whats going on? I asked for some compensation for the issues and was told to pretty much pound sand. I'll never do business with RiteRug again. I should have went through a local shop here in town.

This past June of 2019 we contacted Rite Rug per the suggestion of our real estate agent. They sent out a saleslady who brought samples of carpet to the house. My wife then choose a multi colored carpet that had different heights. We then had to get the walls painted. After painting was finished we were to notify them and they would install the carpet. When the time came we notified them. My wife asked if they would like to meet to make sure they had the right carpet and was told no; Jennifer could not find notes on the type of carpet but she was sure she had it and knew what carpet it was. After the install of the carpet we went out to the house to inspect it. There was all types of damage to our newly painted walls. To our horror they installed the wrong carpet through out the house. It clashed with the new painted walls. We tried for over a week to contact the sales rep. After we reached the corp office they got the rep to come out, clean the walls, patch the walls and replace destroyed blinds. We agreed with the rep to allow three weeks to see if the house (with the wrong carpet) sold. The house did not sale and the response from some the people who looked at the house was about the difference between the walls and carpet. Many times we have tried to notify the rep but have gotten no response back. We would love to have this resolved. It has been a major issue with some buyers and has delayed the house selling. There are no signatures by us approving the carpet or the job, we do not get a proposal or even an itemized invoice from this Company.

I had my house built by Inverness. Carriage Trails Huber Heights Ohio. The design center in Cinn showed me a piece of wood flooring along side of Laminate flooring and I chose the laminate because it looked like wood but was more reasonable. The design center is just a show room... no "tell" about anything. Since I don't have a basement Rite Rug installed my laminate over concrete slab same as they would over sub flooring along with very cheap looking plastic strips called
Transition strips that was across the middle of my great room. Pieced together. It came completely off the floor leaving concrete exposed. The design center never showed me a transition strip nor even tell me, or I would 'never' have selected such a cheap looking floor. After filing small claims against Rite Rug and Inverness they relaid part of the floor. Three weeks later the rest of the floor buckled or planks came loose. I finally got a expert laminate installer do the repairs and when the baseboards were removed Rite Rug installers had put the laminate tight against the wall which caused the problem. Very bad workmanship. Installers that know what they are doing "never" put transition strips across the middle of a room. And you can guess who Rite Rug uses as installers. Inverness and Rite Rug just point fingers back at the other one. No help from either. The whole thing cost me an additional 2,000 dollars. Oh, yes Rite Rug left three boxes of tile behind that I was going to have put in the laundry room and the installer said one box was a eighth of an inch bigger than the other two and another box was a total color difference. He couldn't use them. I had to go to lowes and buy tile since my washer and dryer were sitting in the garage. I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy. STAW AWAY FROM RITE RUG!
