If victims of this SCAM don't send a complaint to the US Dept. Of Justice, or to the State of Florida Attorney General's Office, then all of the complaining on review sites will amount to nothing. As far as law enforcement agencies are concerned, if they don't get a complaint, there is no victim and no crime.

I was charged an extra $14.99 for my reservation and i was not notified that they fee was going to be applied. this is not legal. how do i get a refund or i will be reporting this to the better business bureau!

Answer:

Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. You may have to cancel your card and get a new card and card number, but it's worth it.

Yes, this company charges a fee, which it will not refund even if you cancel your reservation within minutes!

Impossible to get money back. They're just scumbags!

Can a reservation be canceled right away ?

Answer:

It can be, if its refundable reservation. Every reservations has a different cancelation policy. Mostly last minute reservations are not cancelable.

I recently booked a room for on sonesta es suites web site and it was redirecting to reservation.com that i was not aware of that.after i checked in

My experience is the same. reservations.com obviously nails a lot of unsuspecting Canadians this way. They don't make any attempt to help you out when they are confronted by this way of hosing us. Its a sleazy organization.

Answer:

Yes, you were billed. Call your credit card company and report it as an unauthorized charge. Your company should remove it, send you a new card and assign you a new card number.
