I buy formal dresses all the time and this is buy far the best shipping/packing experience I have ever had. Henris formal dresses company, shipped my $400 dress in a bag, so I'm definitely buying from this company again.

I ordered a dress for my daughter for her upcoming prom. We took proper measurements according to the website and ordered a size 4 dress. However, the dress that was received is closer to a 2 than a 4. My daughter is very petite, so there is no exaggeration with my assessment. Though very pretty, the dress has an insane amount of glitter. To further exacerbate this situation, I was charged an additional $175 for duty charges after paying $200USD for the dress, plus $40USD for shipping. I am in Canada, so imagine my surprise when this order came and the delivery person tells me that I need to pay $175 to receive my package! I spoke to UPS who recommended speaking to the company and asking them to absorb the costs. However after several correspondence with the company, the final verdict was that this was my responsibility. Had I been aware of these duty charges, I could have decided if that's a costs I wanted to pay. Now. I am left with a dress that does not fit her properly, and we will have to find an alternative. Spend your money elsewhere!

I wasn't home when my daughter's order was delivered and she was away at college so I didn't even open until she got home the following weekend to try on graduation photo dresses. Neither fit, and I filled out request for return authorization. They asked for more information, even though the information they needed was on the request as I filled out the form on their website. They stalled, and now won't accept my return. Even if they did, they only give store credit. I will never have my daughter order here again.

My daughter spent $218 on a prom dress. The buzzer system in our complex doesn't work so I left a message to call when being delivered. The delivery company never called and tried to deliver 3 more times then sent the dress back to the company. They wouldn't let my daughter change the delivery address and wouldn't issue a refund. They told her she could have store credit. We never even touched or saw the dress and why on Earth would we ever buy anything else from such a useless company? DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
We returned a dress a week ago and would like to purchase another one. We are waiting for notification that we have store credit to do so.
The store credit can take 5-10 business days to be available from when it is received back to us. If you cannot wait, you can place a new order of greater or equal value. Then, when we receive your return you can be issued a refund for the price of the item instead. A restocking fee would not be charged if you have a new order for an item of equal or greater value so please contact us with both order numbers if you choose this option instead of waiting for the store credit. Meh, didn't really fit the way we wanted it to. Unfortunately we'll have to send back. Stretched in the wrong places. A bit disappointing since she is only a size 3.
This dress fit perfectly throughout the hips. I did need to have the straps altered which was an easy fix, but other than that the dress was stunning. I have used PromGirl for 6 years of pageants and have yet to be disappointed!
We ordered a prom dress. Due to issues etc (hospitalization) I messed up in returning dress on time. Plus the bodice does not match quality of dress and would have to be modified (at our cost) For 30 minutes I pleaded with a "Customer Service Agent" who would not listen etc. But recite their rules. DO NOT PURCHASE from this company if you need service or understanding. I understand now why their ratings are below 4 stars now.

You have 5 days to return from the date of the Fed Ex package date even if you do not receive it... we spent $260 on a dress that we now cannot return and it's still in original packaging. I would shop other places - this site is really expensive with an intentionally short return policy (the shortest I have ever seen) so you're screwed and no exceptions. Don't order from this site.

They have very rude costumer service. I would not recommend at all. They shipped my dress later than 1-3 days. I then got my dress late and am not allowed to return or get compensated for it. It was my senior prom and I had to go out the day off to get a dress that I would actually have in time. They did not care at all and do not help.

Be sure to request RMA within 7 days or you are completely out of luck. Customer Service is not at all understanding or helpful. I offered to pay restocking fee or store credit and they said flat NO. Even the Director of Customer Service didn't care.
Dress ARE NOT standard sizes. My daughter is a standard size 8. One dress was way too small and the other was small in waist and big in bust (and she has a bust).

I will never do business with this company again. I have worked with other online businesses before but their return policy sucks. ALL the tags and dress was placed back in the bag that it was sent to us. My daughter just tried it on and it was too big for her and of course I missed the 7 day return policy. They told me to take pictures and send it and still denied me my return. LESSON LEARNED! PromGirl SUCKS

Due to the seasonal nature of our merchandise, we do ask that customers contact us within 7 days to receive the return authorization number. We try to make exceptions when possible but we are not able to accept every late item. I was very happy with the dress I ordered for my daughter. It fit well and looked nice. When I placed the order, I just wanted regular mail and instead after the order had been processed, it said the dress was being shipped priory and charged me $15! That was a third of what the dress cost and I was very disappointed because I didn't select that shipping. The dance was a month away so we didn't need to have priority shipping. I used your company so I could save money and ended up spending what it would have cost at a store! I would like my shipping money back or at least a credit to use in the future. I would like to use your company again but not if I can't get the shipping how I want it and compensated for the company's mistake!
Unfortunately the only method available for shipping to a PO box location is the Priority Mail option for $15. This amount is displayed during the checkout and the total cost of the order can be viewed before it is submitted. The money from the shipping cannot be refunded because it is provided to USPS for the shipment of the dress. We apologize for any misunderstanding!
I bought 2 homecoming dresses for my daughter to be sure of the size the end of September. I returned one and they received it 10/10/2022. It is now 12/13/2022 and I still have yet to receive my refund! 30 business days they say. I have sent several emails because you can't speak with anyone on a telephone! And to no avail I'm still waiting on my $200 refund! Never will I use this place again

Prom Girl has so many amazing dresses! I gave 4 stars because the dress I originally wanted wouldn't come in until a month later because it was not in stock. But I chose a different dress and I love it even more! I'm so happy with everything and I love how they have a customer service chat box right there at the corner of the webpage. My daughter ordered a prom dress from them. Unfortunately it didn't fit so she sent it back the next day. They take forever handling returns and they only giving store credit. My daughters prom is in two weeks…she's still waiting for store credit so she can't order a new dress. She is absolute devastated…and she's getting no help from their customer service department. PromGirl are going to ruin her prom because she will not be able to get a new dress in time, and she can't get her money back so she can go and buy her dress another place. The size chart is very off, I normally wear a size 12 but I ordered a size 16 (3XL) and it fit perfect. The shipping had some problems but I after contacting the site I got my dress within 7 days. The dress is very gorgeous and fits well. Good quality as well, super excited for my senior prom!
I just recieved my daughters prom dress. Delivery was fast but shipping was $70. The dress was $299 but because of exchange (I live in Canada) it ended up costing $534. The dress sizing was way off. Ordered a medium and it fit like a xs. We followd all size guides and suggestions. When taking a look over it I found a rip. Now to return it for refund o have to pay shipping AGAIN. Otherwise the dress is very heavy and gorgeous

Such a horrible return policy. You need to read the fine print. Dress arrived late and they still wouldn't give me a refund past 7 days.
Just awful customer service.
I paid for two day shipping as my daughter would need the dress altered to a much smaller size. The customer service agent was snarky, non helpful and rude.
She offered NO solutions and I felt that she took pleasure in cutting the conversation to a halt.
All of the positives of this company and experience are countered when the dress doesnt arrive when expected and customer service is rude and non-helpful.
I hope that this was a one time experience that ended with me.
