Do not buy. They will delete you from their database after 30 days so, as to confuse you that you are typing in wrong login details to download new updates. When you type in a valid email address it will state you are not registered. In other words, they want you to pay again to get updates from them. Look at their terms of service, they will give you 60 days support after purchase and then delete you from their database. CRIMINALS!

The Chat script is not the best either. Go with BlabPRO if your looking for a working chat

We bought this a month ago. Support is no where to be found. I wrote about 2 weeks ago, almost every day but they, which is one person, Jeff, is not answering. The gallery plug in, runs a row of your users right smack in the middle of the page. That is a far cry from what they show on their demo website.

What you see, is NOT what you get. That is why it looks so good.

All software has their tweaks, but it is unacceptable when there are this many on a clean install, and they, Jeff, doesn't respond. Not to mention, under our account, I could see we had not been activated so nothing worked. I told him that was the problem, just turn it on. That was 2 weeks.

If you want a videochat than buy something better than that. Webcams issues posted on their forum years ago and still are not solved and present in new versions of the chat.

Looks like Jeff (the only guy runnig all the company and support) just dont care.

I have the verdion 7 and I bought the 8, I installed it and I add a new language. But when I change to other chat room return to english. I've written four or five time and I don't get answer.

Scam Video Chat plugin. I also spent like $130:00. First you have to have vps to run it. I also spent another $100 to have a guy to do it. He worked on it big time and can't get it going! He even say big time issues.

It costing me $230 for nothing! Also on their site, say $20 hosting. Another area say $50. I guess final calls to kissed my money goodbye, lived and learned I guess.

I now thinking to get on vps server but if prochatroom is a haywire in all aspects. It will cost even much more to get it going. That's no guaranteed! Then what next?

Site say is fine on a shared something like that and I asked, he also say ya is fine use it on a shared server! That is a big time lied. After I purchased it. And can't get it going, then I realized the way he answers all that. Call my hosting, oh well, it wouldn't work on the shared.

Ya, the support for buying question is big time fast responded. Once your money had paid. Whoever that $#*! would not answer. Takes weeks to answered with the questions you asked about, but turned around to play stupid and/or to make you believed, etc, etc.

They are not from the U.S. so all that money prochat scams, they are making big time on their country money!

I tried to find review before buy, can't find this until now. Oh well, is kind of late now!

If anyone know a good live video chat. Please send link to help other people who wouldn't be scammed again.

Too bad there's no below ONE star. I want to give them that NOT one star.

Got to say I have similar experience like everyone else with this script. I'm no stranger to installing website scripts so this was easy for me - that wasn't the problem though. Performance wise prochatrooms are very poor. If you are looking at chatting with a couple of friends then it's OK, if you are looking at having a website chat room with activity - forget it. This is buggy and full of problems. Support doesn't exist and in terms of cost - you get what you pay for! Although this isn't really a cheap script it should be far better!

This is the cheapest software i saw in my live. It's very very very bad

You can download the software only ones after buy. Then you need to pay again to download it.
No support, no info about files to chmood, there is no install guide

I too experienced the same situation. I bought through PayPal ProChatRooms software along with the Remove Branding for $80. I requested the free installation and they never installed it. I then Hired a programmer to install it for me and they said there was something wrong with the program; it would not install because it was missing critical files. When contacting ProChatRooms I received no response. It is most certainly a scam.

I just bought the software and subscribed to the audi/video and events plugins. Lots of contact before I paid and they installed it within a week but it just doesn't work. You can't register, the rooms aren't showing, you always log in to the lobby no matter what room you click on and there are no webcams in sight, I could go on and on. This was two weeks ago and guess what? They aren't answering my emails or support requests and won't verify me for the community forum so that I can see what the problems might be. My son looked at the software and said 'you've been scammed, this programme is rubbish' I have requested a refund through Paypal and am waiting...

Paid over $130 for this piece of junk, selected free installation and despite me emailing them 4 times over several days NOTHING, no reply no nothing.

Then i open paypal case they hijack it and make up crap about me then escalate it so i cant reply.

I will be taking legal action as They refuse to rfund and they refused to install and they currently have my $134 dollars.

Ive since spent $179 for AVChat and prochatrooms have NEVER licenced or installed my chatroom so i have never used it ONCE.

Legal action will commence on monday morning and they have been notified they have 24 hours to refund in full.

Whatever you do avoid this company. They have fraudulently witheld $134 of mine as ive never had a licenced or installed product and i waited DAYS. They only spoke once i opened a paypal case that they hijacked and lied in...

Save yourself the aggro and look elsewhere when looking for chatrooms or video audio plug ins for wordpress
THEY ONLY CONTACTED ME AFTER I OPENED THE PAYPAL CASE.

Now they are getting funny in emails saying you aint getting a refund or the software.

Read the internet for reviews of these people and AVOID.

I was going to upgrade to version 8.1 as of 3 days ago...
I was going to not only buy the video chat but also was going to buy the login gallery plugin, the Advertising plugin, the share files plugin AND if that isnt enough I was also going to sign up for the monthly $20.00 video hosting as well... but... I needed a few questions answered... I sent 6 messages through direct email... tickets and forums... and no one ever responded!
Therefor you lost a big sale! I waited for 3 days for an answer and no one ever responded.
So what choice was I left with?

I admit I was upset when you first decided to start charging people for plugins on the new version 8, and I was not going to upgrade at all, but after thinking about it, I thought well you know, these guys work hard on these plugins to design it for a pretty decent looking system so fine, I will pay for the plugins and get a nice system to offer to my users, but after being totally ignored and tossed to the side like I didnt matter in the least to anyone in Prochatrooms, I thought to myself, do I really want to do business with people who treat people like this? No I absolutely do not!
Im a business man, not one of your website kids in their 20's with a hobbyist chat to entertain their friends and buddies,

I am a 53 year old man running a professional business on a professional site and use chat as a professional tool
( Im in the music entertainment business)
And the people Im associated with in my industry WOULD HAVE been hearing the name ProChatrooms.
You might be saying so what, who do you know?
Ever heard of Bobby Vinton? Pat Boone? Tommy James from Tommy James and the Shondells? How about the 5th dimension? Any of those names ring a bell?
These are people I do business with!
And now they will hear the name VisiChat, not ProChatrooms!
You blew it!
I have version 7 on my website as a backup and will use it ONLY in an emergency if my NEW chat system goes down, I have that right because I paid the fee to have it licensed to my site and unless you refund me my money, I will use it when I want and how I want or not use it at all.
I highly doubt that the NEW techs I am dealing with however will allow the server to go down or the new chat I just bought to not work, because they have ONSITE tech support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, which sadly is more than I can say for ProChatrooms!
Hope your happy with your choice to ignore your customers!
You must be pretty wealthy to not have to worry about making money huh?

They do not answer their emails. There is no contact phone. "PayPal" takes your money, but PayPal has no links that can refund your money.

Software is decent. You better know some coding though because there are some issues. Most can be resolved but you will have to figure it out yourself. Installed it over a week ago. Have sent several messages to support and have never received a single reply. I've posted on their community forum. Also not a single response. Finally filed a PayPal dispute and did get a refund for two plugins that I couldn't get to work at all and no help with. I have the basic text chat working so can live with it. Wouldn't buy if I had it to do again though.

Buy at your own risk, there is no technical support when things go wrong, and trust me, things will go wrong.
