OK - I have been working for PhoneActress.com for like 7 + yrs. Now. It is a great way to make extra money! You can basically choose your own hours and they pay on time and if you are good at it your averages are high and the pay is good.

Ever since they started the new system it has been down hill.the pay is terrible.its so busy that you cant even blow your nose. You have guys who bounce from room to room destroying your average.its just too much going on without better pay and benefits.if they dont lower the average to a 6.00 they are gonna lose alot of agents.the sad thing is that Management (Ms. Thornton) are really nasty towards you. Dont believe the HYPE with this company im so happy i left

You will get alot of hangups which brings down your average hold time and number of calls - dont waste your time

Don't work for this company! There is no such thing as an average hold time. They will scam you.

It was great for a long timenthen the management started bulling people if you didnt have really high scores. They were just rude and unsupportive when they spoke to you. Mainly just one of the people, but either way Im glad I left. I would work there again but only if I was starvin like marvin. The place changed. It was a great place to be for awhile. Now its a hostile place I dont wanna be no more.

This place is garbage they only pay minimum wage i worked to 3 weeks and quit.

Phoneactress.com is a great company they will help you and guide you, there are a few down falls with working for them but if your just looking to make a little money on the side then it is a good company.

Pro's

Managers are professional and helpful.
Checks are dependable and on time.
Bonus's are always paid as agreed with no hassle.
Keeping your hold time is not hard with the clientel that they service.

Con's
Some of the supervisor's (not manager's) just the ones that you log on to are unprofessional. (very unprofessional)
You can easily get written up if a supervisor decides that you have pissed her off over something stupid Ex; logging in 35 seconds late.
If you are late one of your scheduled days then you lose all bonuses for that week.

I worked for this company almost ten years. The calls were challenging, fun and engaging, and bonus incentives were pretty nice. Then they got bought out last year and it all went to hell. Calls became deplorable, in volume, and where once upon a time you did great numbers if you were on your game, the call quality deteriorated to the point where it was all random, no matter what you did, if you got a lousy batch of calls you had no chance. In addition, all bonuses were eliminated. After six months of feeling my talents beyond wasted, I finally left.

Tip for consumers:
Only work here if you're desperate and/or don't care about your performance i.e. income level.
