I was banned on Nextdoor app for a snap shot i posted about the crypto market at that time. They claimed it was a political post. I will never use again! The moderators are democrats and go out they way to damage your reputation with liable posts if they find out your a republican.

Liberals can post what they want, usally attacking conservatives, then run like tattle tales to "report" dissenting replies. Then the liberal biased "leaders" remove posts or suspend accounts, while leaving up liberals' posts, no matter how much they violate rules. Pathetic.

Nextdoor is full of spiteful Karen's. You can't ask about your community because they allow your real info you get threats through post office. Both times it occurred it was a keyboard Ken who thought he had the right to send threats through the mail. Nextdoor will do nothing not against there guidelines. When you have to involve police it's an app you don't need to bother with. Learned the hard way people on that site think they own you, can scare you or threaten you and get away with it. Never again,

Nextdoor is intended to be an application where various services and events related to an urban area are shared. However, it appears that it should be modified to function primarily as an app for pet owners, as the majority of the posts pertain to this subject. I have been a member of Nextdoor for quite some time, and recently I muted all posts related to pets. Since then, I have received no notifications. This situation is quite unreasonable. Consequently, I will be leaving Nextdoor, as it does not serve the community effectively or provide valuable information.

Why is it "non-local politics" to discuss immigration when every Pacific Palisades family has an immigrant nanny, house keeper and gardener who are all currently in danger of disappearing through ICE raids? Why can't I post International Law showing that refugees are legal and cannot be returned to a perilous country? And why was my previous appeal approved, and this post was given the green light then, it was banned again? What changed? Literally every time I log into Nextdoor I'm getting reported for different reasons: "fake name," "discrimination," "topic outside neighborhood," etcetera. Yet when I proved my identity you literally wiped my account clean of 5 years of posts and comments. This makes no sense whatsoever to continually punish me for bizarre reasons that are inapplicable. And why is my moderator allowed to commit cyber stalking and speak to me about "politics" in unwanted private messages? "Harassment" by state law is defined as repeated unwanted contact intended to annoy or harass and it does not include constitutionally protected activity or conduct that serves a legitimate purpose, i.e., free speech. Additionally, they live in Woodland Hills, absolutely nowhere near Pacific Palisades, by the way: "Chris P." in the valley gets to moderate what should and shouldn't get seen or heard for a place they don't even live anywhere near? Someone please explain?

I tend to be careful and try to be kind. I joined a private political group. I've been severely depressed since Trump won. I was attacked in the group in a very abrasive and unkind manner. When I reached out to the group's creator, he refused to intervene. Welp, fools rush in where angels fear to trend. I contacted the attacker and may have said some things - basically I try to make people happy with my public posts and she complains about stuff or claims she's being bullied if someone disagrees with her. I said if that was bullying, you're bullying me and I'm leaving this group because of you. A week later I've been temporarily suspended for an unkind private message. Rolls eyes.

Nextdoor allows people to call me names, bully me for over 3 years. People call me names, comment about my posts that are good. There is a person who is constantly attacking, & their friends also. Nextdoor does nothing, I filed a complaint with BBB & Atty Gen. Now I will go to small claims. My account has been suspended for 2 weeks on the basis that I violated community guidelines for discussing politics. On numerous occasions I have asked Nextdoor local reviewers to remove a post regarding local immigration on the basis of the racist comments and the discussions of actions that makes the community at large less safe. I have interacted on the post. I was not rude and engaged in civil discussions. My engagement was primarily to decrease the bias in the local community. I escalated to nextdoor.com when action locally was not taken. On the escalation form I posted the exact thread that I was referencing as racist and a risk to the community. That support case number is Case # *******. Over the course of days several of my comments were removed for breaking some violation or another. All the while other comments that were rude, racist, dangerous, and violated community guidelines were allowed to stay on the post. The post was not removed. Mind you I know my viewpoints are not "in line" with most community members in the state of Texas. That is not a bad thing or anything that should allow the local reviewers to discriminate against me for. My voice is valid too! The first attempt to silence my voice was a personal attack on my identity. I was reported for not using my real name. My account was suspended. That was a completely bogus claim as I am using my real full legal name. I had to provide my drivers license to Nextdoor to prove my identity. That is an invasion of my privacy. Then a post I made for a call to action locally to help our neighbors was deleted, there was not a reason provided for its removal. A platform that allows neighbors to police their neighbors needs to have more checks and balances. After that first suspension it has been a non-stop attack on everything I have to say. Multiple comments of mine have been hidden or removed. And yet racist comments because they align with the local reviewers have been allowed to stay online.

This site is ran by the arm of the Democratic party. You will be suspend, account and post will be removed by the police speech nazi's if it is something other that what they believe in. The invisible LEADS that over shade your words will banish you for the slightest ideal of a different though other than there's. They can post about everything and make it all about how wonderful communism is! But heaven help you if you do not agree. Avoid THIS SITE!, i HOPE THAT SOME LAWYER can get a class action up for all the people that rights have been trampled on trying to use this with there freedom of speech something clearly this site does not believe in~!

Nextdoor, customer support is terrible, caught lying on a regular basis‼ Avoid this website at all costs 🤮 Customer support is prejudice‼ They break their own rules and guidelines that are posted on their own website on a daily basis‼
Nextdoor rules and guidelines as posted on their website and publicly made (see below) states I can post as much as I want on my business account (see screen shot of Nextdoor rules below). It also states on Nextdoor's website that I am allowed to post uplifting positive pictures/videos.(see below screen shot) Nextdoor consistently on a bi-weekly basis removes dozens of my posts which take me several hours to create. They are all made in an effort to cheer people up, lift up their spirits and add a smile to their day. I get absolutely nothing in return, no money no nothing just the knowledge I made someone else in the world a little happier. I also run a Dog Boarding business that helps pay for my animal therapy, organization; Healing Paws Animal Therapy which has received worldwide media attention. Google: Super Dog Max To see all the TV shows, Magazines, radio stations that we have appeared on. From the today show, good morning America, good day Tampa Bay, America's funniest videos, the Ellen show, NBC, ABC, CBS, Fox 13... Hence, the reason it is very disheartening when a company such as Nextdoor is racially prejudice against me and my business, which does nothing but help the the community out. We are all disabled veterans paying it forward and helping other people in need.

The moderators in any local area of Nextdoor just take down whatever they want. It doesn't matter what the guidelines are. The people working as moderators for next door are idiots. Their own personal preferences and ideologies enter into their editing of the website. It's a bunch of Karens that moderate these things. Absolutely ridiculous and unless this company gets bought I don't see how they survive. Who wants to advertise on Nextdoor? You'd have to be a complete moron. I had posted a couple political things and they hid them. So I wouldn't post any more but they just suspended my account over the posts that they already hid. If the posts are already hidden what am I supposed to do- delete them anyway? They've already been hidden so no one can see them. If no one can see them what's the point of suspending my account for 3 days? Unbelievable stupidity runs rampant through the moderators of Nextdoor. It's Karen Central.

This is a publicly traded company that currently has the stock valuation of $1.92 per share. The local administrators decide what gets posted and what gets hidden and they are complete idiots. I doubt that the local administrators on next door are vetted very well. I tried a few times to reactivate my account but they keep blocking local stories that they say are not local. It's more of a waste of time than Facebook. You're better off going to Craigslist. What a waste of the internet.

My local Nextdoor group (Salem, Massachusetts) is truly revolting. It is dominated by passive aggressive Karens and bullies pushing a political agenda. Any differing opinion is attacked and even the most pleasantly worded differing opinion is taken down as "Unkind and Uncivil. The local "Review Team" is EXTREMELY biased. I repeatedly have to reach out directly to Nextdoor support to address the issue...sometimes they do...most times they don.t. Truly revolting platform with despicable stalkers.

Soooo you have irresponsible pet owners losing their pets, people complaining about street trash, homeless or someone with a jacket if its too hot. Nothing but, old many racist folks who can't navigate FB or IG so Nextdoor it is. I saw a post about a guy saying he's going to go "talk to some homeless people" and I called him a bully. Sounds like bullying when you can call the law. The other seniors reported my comment but, not his. So my response was fitting because bullies support bullies.

...This is worse than living in N. Korea. No opinions allowed. The moderators are crazy with power. If you don't cozy up to one, their friends will get your comments deleted. I was just booted off Next Door, for daring to mention the holy grail of the medical community - vaccines. I was reviewing a veterinary hospital in Fayetteville NY, that kicked me out of their practice for declining their medications for my dog. The 'doctor' very rudely asked 'SO WHAT DID YOU COME HERE FOR?" I answered quietly - 'An exam'. What's wrong with going to a vet, for their professional exams, their worm tests and blood tests, (all of which are expensive enough) but declining their useless - sometimes dangerous - medications? (I know 4 dogs and 1 cat that DIED from Bravecto -A drug promoted by this animal 'hospital'). They took my money for the exam, but when she figured out that I was not there to buy their drugs, the 'doctor' STORMED out of the exam room, and never did an actual exam. (Later when I requested a refund for the exam that never happened, I was refused - demonstrating once again what Fayetteville Animal Hospital actually cares about, and it isn't your pet)
SO I did the neighborly thing, and posted a review on NEXT DOOR, which was 'REMOVED' for 'illegal information'. (Adults are not allowed to weigh all the data you know; we're incapable in this new tyranny that used to be the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave).
After I posted a copy of the 'removal', I was summarily suspended from NEXT DOOR - your local commie outfit that permits only cute puppy pictures, for sale items, and cat adoptions. But nothing of 'gravitas'. So here it is! My negative review of both Fayetteville Animal Hospital, AND Next door AND YELP! The pay for good reviews fake review platform that if you give them the $$$ will hide negative reviews under a cloud called 'Not recommended'. (Which when I visited that page, I discovered OTHER disillusioned former patrons of Fayetteville Animal Hosptial, one gal who actually referred to the doctor 'Kevorkian'..

Nextdoor is a toxic wasteland of bigotry, conspiracies, misinformation, hate and lies run by a support staff that doesn't care or help. Extremely biased Leads and Review Team Members are allowed to target and bully individuals by reporting and voting to remove the most polite, factual, and innocent of comments even though they met all guidelines and local subject matter. The irony of Nextdoor is that while the platform was designed to help people be more connected to their communities and meet their neighbors, it acts to create a constant state of paranoia and alienate users from themselves and each other. I was constantly targeted and now indefinitely suspended for giving the most benign trivial comments as exampled below on my local neighborhoods gun violence. I was deleted for stating space aliens probably look nothing like humans. Nextdoor support staff are completely incompetent so save your sanity and avoid this horrendous app.

ND is just another radical liberal San Fran run company. They have gotten full of themselves with censorship, biased moderators and leads. They are more concerned with generating revenue from their never ending nauseating ads and have obviously forgotten their core values and mission statement. They release platform "enhancements" that make the user experience worse than what they already were.

It's mostly like Facebook, but with more of your immediate neighbors involved. If you want to find out the worst in people that you can put faces to, this waste of time is for you. Hateful, spiteful, petty, self-involved grievances are constantly aired. If you do make the mistake of getting involved, they'll gang up on you and get your account suspended. Really, just go sort your sock drawer and don't waste you time here.

If the Nextdoor moderators don't agree with what you say, it's deleted and you are put in Nextdoor. It is okay for certain people, left-leaning people, to make rude remarks and make fun of those they don't agree with no repercussions! I will never use this app again!

I noticed during Covid they started censoring people who had opposing opinions. They have only improved on doing so, 5 months ago I limited my account and today I deleted it. They cater to babies and whiners they don't allow for differing opinions well, unless it feeds their agenda. Go on another app, one that allows for differing opinions, not discrimination nobody needs that but if I don't agreed with a government you/i should be able to speak that truth.

It has the potential to be a useful resource for keeping posted on neighborhood events and happenings but unfortunately attracts too many dysfunctional busybodies who have way too much time on their hands.
Endless rants and complaining from bitter hateful people about the most trivial things with nasty and mean spirited insults back and forth. It discourages participation or involvement in even the most benign topics of discussion like "if you're not picking up your dogs poo after it goes in the grass you are a vile^%*#^*^& horrible person not worthy of the air you breath." It's scary to read some of the comments of people who "want to pass laws" to persecute those who don't agree with them. (God forbid you bring up anything remotely related to politics or religion!) So, it ends up being a magnet for opinionated self appointed "geniuses" who bully the dissenters right off the platform.
Normal, balanced people with a life will have little time for this soap box.
