I got set free from addiction and met God there but I didn't receive the love of God from the staff that's a fact. They are hypocrites and at the end of the day it's about the money. Its pitiful—They pick and choose favorites by who brings more money in fundraising(As long as their pockets are full they could care less about anything else.) I recommend finding a different program because someone could easily become bitter towards God by the way they treat people

My family just brought me home one of their papers to try and get me to go here. I am already a month+ into treatment. They are religious and believed these people are helping. I myself see the same tactics that non profits use to get people to fundraise for them at slave wages. This is even worse as it seems like they take control of your communication and medicine which is cult tactics.

I went to this facility was the worst mistake ever made was there from Monday until Sunday never got to sleep in a bed slept on couch and chairs and I am disabled, most of these reviews are true this is nothing but a cult hiding behind religion and a money racket, I was on parole and not supposed to leave the state went out on the first weekend to fund a raiser ask them where we were going there comment was we can't tell you next thing I know I'm in Alabama and the food was horrible, so I left the facility as soon as we got back, please don't send loved ones to this place.

My son, a veteran diagnosed with PTSD was in this program. He was discharged from the program because he complained about his inability to call me or his father. They do NO substance or mental health treatment like they promised. They hide behind Christianity to abuse and manipulate the people to do "fundraising." They brainwash and mentally abuse people. They withhold medications for people diagnosed with mental illness. The FBI needs to investigate them. Do not put your son and daughter there. They are probably involved in other illegal activities.

My son spent 30 days there and had to get out of there! Management style is fear and control. They were called names, threatened and punished if 1 person got out of line, everyone was punished. He asked if he go for a hike and get exercise? Told he didn't EARN the privilege?... TOTAL MONEY DRIVEN CULT in my opinion. One guy stole $60, and they let it pass because " He was a good Producer?
There was NO Christlikeness displayed, No example of Christianity being represented, Only hurting hearts getting even more damaged... If you are thinking of sending a loved one there... DONT DO IT!

This place can truly help to change the lives of individuals who want to change. Anybody can post a negative review and most who do will do it because they are bitter. You can't enter a recovery program and expect to dictate hoe things will go. They teach you to be responsible for what goes on in your life. They teach you good morals through discipleship teaching in the Word of God. Everyone who enters he program knows this from the start! People want to say it is a cult but tell me what cult allows you the free will to leave? It is truly based on your desire to change. The fundraising they do is to support the ministry and it teaches the participants to be a part of the welfare of others. Would you rather spend $40-60,000 in a program that really doesn't care about your future and doesn't teach you life skills as well? The participants in the program are actively involved in the fundraising to help keep the program free for the next guy. In this they learn what it is to support a community instead of destroying a community. Don't look at the people who quit but listen to the ones who stuck it out and graduated. Look at how their lives have changed and went from homeless to homeowners, from drug users and dealers to fathers, husbands, business owners, taxpayers, pastors, counselors, and teachers. Find out for yourselves.

I went through this program in 2017. I am forever grateful to Apostle Mark Gallow for founding this program and all the pastors and teachers that work tirelessly day and night to help people overcome their addictions and find a new, fulfilling life in Jesus. I would not be here today without their sacrifice and dedication to their students. I am still sober over 4 years later and I am never going back. God truly works in this place and through these people. I highly recommend them to anyone who is struggling and wants to make a real change in their lives

I was just at hyvee, I seen ppl from here outside of hyvee, "fundraising". I struggle from addiction and have for a long time. I gave them money n told them that I appreciate what they're doing because ppl like me need it…. After I left, I looked up lifechangers and all I see is terrible comments calling it a cult n a racket…. Makes me sick that ppl are literally scamming vulnerable ppl, as in addicts and ppl who suffer from mental illness just to make a profit…. And using religion to do it…. The ppl running these places are the $#*!ing devil! Telling unsuspecting ppl it's a free rehab, when in all reality, they force these patients to go out n pretty much beg for money to pay their rent…. This place should be ashamed of themselves! It's SICK! And to act like they're doing "Gods" work?!? They're as $#*!ing sick as the catholic church! Disgusting!

This group had a table set up at the Sams Club in Jefferson City on 12/13/19. I noted morevthan one instance where the workers made dirty comments to and about customers. Seemed like they were there to try and pick up women. One said something rude to mecand I told him off. I would never support this organization.

I just gave $200 to this ministry on-line ($100 Ministry Partner & $100 Christmas Donation) for the first time because I met a graduate (outside a Dollar Tree) who was sharing information about Life Changers and how it dramatically changed her life. (I volunteer weekly at Wheeler Mission in Indianapolis, where many homeless men have addictions.)

As an FYI, in addiction recovery ministries, they "seclude" the guests so they are not negatively impacted by outside influences, including friends and family who routinely have ENABLED (or contributed to) their addiction. They need to be cut off from external distractions so they can focus on taking responsibility for their own recovery. (Too many addicts are not willing to make the sacrifice and exercise self-control and thus they relapse despite the best efforts and well intentions of Lifechangers and other rehab facilities... which is why so many addicts fail.

How refreshing, this ministry is offering to sell T-shirts... you receive something in return for your contribution! Of course, the person volunteering their time to help addicts recover is "paying it forward" out of GRATITUDE for God rescuing them from addiction and giving them their life back.

See Samuel S's 6/25/20 review. I agree wholeheartedly!

So LifeChangers was a nightmare. I was 17 and disappeared into the cult known as LifeChangers. I wasn't allowed to talk to a majority of my family. I brought pictures of my friends and family 5 months later the pictures were put away and I was advised to let go of my old life. Constantly I was downed for having assurance my boyfriend would be there when I left and was told he'd probably cheat.(he didn't and we got engaged). Constantly I was told I have no right I was a minor and they lawfully could handle me how they wanted. I came in and couldn't walk my need for a physical therapist was neglected for months when I did go they consistently didn't listen to the doctor's instructions leaving me with a dislocated spine disk. Consistently lead me on and left me for a constant need for validation. I was not on drugs nor was I in full sin my own mother abandoned me and it was my only choice. I couldn't get a job or have a minute to myself. They let other people say anything mentally abusive and leave me in tears without correcting bullying behavior (60 year olds bullying 17 year olds and getting away with it) Tennessee puts people in a hot un air conditioned room to make more than 7,500 shirts a week no pay(it's basically a sweatshop). Employees are underpaid and overworked (most can't afford rent for a house and compromise in living in an over populated living setting). You have to even deal with fundraising in extremely hot to extremely cold temperatures fundraiser's sometimes going 6am- 9pm $3 allowance for breakfast, $5 for lunch, $6-10 for dinner and you have to be in luck to find lunch near fundraising area here's the thing only $14 to eat per person but these people earn almost $2000 in a weekend and see nothing. How is it a multimillion program has so much money but doesn't help with the decline of peoples health. The shirts are cheaply made and very easily made and they charge high. In the fine print of the waiver the people sign it makes you agree to not suing and makes you acknowledge you'll go through physical and psychological pain and suffering and your liable for your injuries or issues, and you have to agree to sign away your first amendment right. Plus not being in addiction they preach you were in addiction 100% of the time no regard for who wasn't. It is spirit filled but the good never out weighed the bad there and leaving was the best decision I ever made because though I was homeless leaving I lucked out and now I'm a responsible adult living my life free of abuse. I don't go to church because I still haven't healed from the trauma it gave me. LifeChangers will forever and always be a sweatshop, slavery inducing, and morally wrong cult. This place should be shut down because they have not yet had any repercussion.

The establishment needs to be aware of what's going on and put an end to this so called recovery program because if this program is not benefiting anyone except those greedy higher ups then it's time to shut it down. I met two great individuals and I bought a bracelet not knowing all the bad reviews but if they do shut it down then I wonder what will happen to the individuals in which this program is supposed to help. God Bless!

My husband and I have seen firsthand how this Life changers program has changed and IS changing lives for the better. You learn you have to take personal responsibility. You need to learn that following healthy rules and regulations can be good for you! You can leave and go back to families who enable your addictions, to friends selling you drugs that are highly likely to kill you… or you can stop whining, do the program which is free, help in the fundraising a couple or three weekends and get a brilliant education into how the Lord loves you too much to let you stay on the streets. You have cried out for help. God has sent in the cavalry who work harder than you ever have to help you find true freedom!
I went into a God given program for almost 2 years ( not here), yes it was hard, yes I found out about the $#*!ty parts of myself but I also found out about my courage and my willingness to change, that I had to stop blaming my crappy upbringing for my problems and that only I with God's loving help could have a fresh start, become the beautiful butterfly He wants me to be! The wonderful human being that I am! With a wonderful future, a long happy marriage, good and loyal friends, and a sense of peace that only Jesus can truly provide in relationship with Him! Thank you Lord!
If you are ready to change, Life Changers is ready and real for you! AND we saw people who had left the program, COME BACK when they realized what God was offering them

I was a student in the Wasilla AK location for about 6 months. The "leadership" was Kat Kirby, Erica and Andrew Downs and Ronnie and Tracy Vance. All had long since had their brains burned out on meth and all had a damn God-complex. The biggest psycho was Tracy who would claim that she never slept because God was busy "downloading everything about us (the students) into her head." Yeah, right. God doesn't operate that way. He's not manipulative like that. Most likely she never slept because she was high. Then there was Kat Kirby who clearly failed to pray the gay away as she was fired from the ministry then promptly became a lesbian again (no joke, chk out her FB profile). It also became apparent that she was sexually preying on at least one if not two of the younger ladies in the program. I could go on and on with the horror stories. The non-stop manual labor, the punishments for little nothing offenses like "making a face" at someone. It was ridiculous. Contact with one's family was strictly limited to a supervised once a month visit and two 15 min phone calls a week which could be taken away at staff whim. We spent all day Friday and Sat selling crap jewlery and T shirts outside walmarts to "earn our keep." However, with all the money we brought in from these sales, we still ate Ramen for many meals and were told to "be grateful." Wow, and just where was all that money going. Well, Katrina was fired for stealing and who knows how much. As I said, I could go on and on. Women left this cult right and left. The twisted Bible doctrine and harsh punishments and isolation was just insane. One day, I'll write a book. Stay away, just stay away and save your sanity.

This is a CULT. They prey on the most vulnerable give them a roof over their heads, work them like dogs, with hold meds, giving them no time to look for work to get out. It's a dead end. Do not go here.

I saw a post on a christian forum of how a recovery expert called Jovani Truman recovered $600,000 for one of our sister in christ that lives in California who got scammed by some investors she met on youtube. As at that time i was also scammed $380,000 by someone i met on instagram who convinced me into trading and he stole all my money. I contacted the recovery expert at his personal email via trustguarddigitalassetsrecovery(AT)aol(DOT)com I was so surprised that i was able to receive my lost funds back within 48 hours because i obeyed him, If you are in such situation and you want to truly recover back your lost, stolen money, then contact him now at trustguarddigitalassetsrecovery (AT) aol (DOT) com... so that you recover all your lost funds, crypto and assets back.

Definitely a profit driven cult practicing spiritual abuse. All the distinctive. Love-bomb on the way in... then things change. Estranged you/limit and control contact with familt/outside world. No TV no radio. Leaders claim to have gift of prophesy therefore to disobey them us to disobey God. Zero access to females unless you are emptying the cash out of their purses in front of a Walmart. To leave the compound is to go against Gods will and many that leave die. This is a recurring message. Leave equals die. Only higher-ups have access to the women and illicit/inappropriate relationships are status quo. Arranged relationships/marriages. Nobody in leadership has ever left nor do they have more than a year or two of sobriety. Human trafficking. Ride six deep trafficked all over the southeast to "fundraise"... each crew clears a couple grand each weekend. NC center brings in a haul of 30 to 40 thousand a week but guys are fed bologna sandwiches and must keep their breakfast under $3 on the road while fundraising. Unclear whether leadership is clean/sober. No light in their eyes. Danger. Danger. Beware Life Changers Cult.

I read the reviews when my daughter was on the streets and was going into the program. I prayed and asked God for his will be done. Three weeks in, they took them to Louisiana the third worst broken out area for Covid-19, the weekend that TN governor shut down. I agree people are should work for their health and well being of a program if it's free. But, not during a pandemic. Their lives shouldn't be put in more danger than it was when they were on the streets doing drugs. Wonder what the government officials and judges who force people into these programs are getting. Someone needs to check this place out. Also there are other questionable practices. And the person who said that this is just a strict program. Where was the counseling, where is dealing with your past to make your future better. I thought when I read the reviews oh they are just drug addicts and didn't want to work for their sobriety. I was wrong, thankfully my daughter has gotten out and is on the road to recovery. NO THANKS TO THIS PROGRAM. I pray for the ones who have no one to listen to them.

Well they came and got me out of jail and I could be happier.if it wasn't for this program I probably would have been on the streets dead. They phone is for your own safety and the meds are put up yes cause some of us was addicted to them and tried to kill our selves so some is for of best I have since Graduated the program and have staffed on with the ministry everything you is with our Safety in mind the staff really does care so the program is how you made it so take it as you will it's not about the money could care less about the money I want to see these lost souls set free and it is probably I have seen it my self so take it as you do.

Yeah, some stuff is sketchy. They do bible study all day Monday-Wednesday, Thursday- saturday they go to different stores and sell t shirts and jewelry. Even if they get back at 3 am, they have to be back up at 6 am for church on virtually no sleep. I get it though. Rules are rules- no special privileges for everyone, you know what to expect. I think some people need this structure.

However, I have a family member that I haven't spoken to in a week (normally speak to her 2x a week). Finally spoke to her last night and I hear that they have a covid outbreak with AT LEAST 3 ladies testing positive/with symptoms, inc my family member, but they still got sent out fundraising.(this comment in being left in September 2021) I know they have to work to earn their room and board, but these ladies bring in tens of thousands of dollars. You can't take a weekend off if they have covid? I contacted the new director (as the 2 previous directors just quit 2 or so weeks ago) and when I raised my concerns she basically said "we literally don't have the ability to quarantine anyone, can YOU?" Very rude, basically implying "you take her into your home if you don't like the way we are doing things here."

I'm not there. I don't know the whole story. However, the way I see it is - it doesn't matter either way. If someone has covid symptoms, ESPECIALLY WHEN OTHER GIRLS IN THE HOUSE HAVE TESTED POSITIVE, or HAS BEEN EXPOSED TO SOMEONE POSITIVE, with or without symptoms, don't send them out fundraising, where they literally have to try to talk to everybody who walks by them to sell their wares, for 14 hours a day in the middle of a pandemic. Take the weekend off, make sure everyone is well, and pick it back up next weekend- no big deal. I guess I shouldn't be surprised though.

I took my Son the one in TN. I took him there to get help for addiction BUT NO! They trained him to sell T Shirts... No help for his addiction on how to live a sober life. My Son left we called the so called Pastor 3 times to go pick up his belongings. THEY STOLE HIS THINGS... Then the so called Pastor confronted me and told me and my 74yr old Mother to shut up we were pissing him off! They gave all of his clothes away. How do you do that. They brainwash the men I know a you man that is there and him and his girlfriend are brainwashed. My Son had sense enough to go in a store and call me. We are able to get him home thanks to God and angels along the way. Now I am gonna have to pray harder to try to get my Son who don't believe in the Lord to trust him. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE LISTEN TO THIS MOMMA DON'T SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!
