Hired them to deal with another lawyer to get fees reduced that were unfairly charged to me. It was impossible to talk to her by phone because she was always busy. I never recieved her emails or her mine. Tried calling her over and over again and never recieved a phone call. Meanwhile was charged $800 for them doing absolutely nothing! Very dishonest lawyers. These are the kinds of people that give lawyers a bad reputation.

These lawyers dont take care of people at all. Especially Veterans, they treated me like scum. It took them 2 years to file my Chapter 7, and I lost $11,000 in garnishments and completely lost my tax returns for two years. Turns out Matt Engletts license to practice was suspended for three months a year ago for un-ethical practices Jose Lopez was my lawyer and he was completely uselesus. Im soo disappointed in my Latino family to see such malicious practice against their own people. Also If you tell them the truth, they will use it against you, they will kick you when you are down. I went through three lawyers, and five paralegals during my time with them. Stay away people, go to a better more ethically compliant team. Dont pay attention to other fake Trumped up reviews on here, listen to the real reviews, they are the real testimonials. Im infuriated that the state of Florida allows these people to keep their doors open.

KEL Attorney now Lawyers ASAP. Well where to I begin, first paid them all of the money to file a Bankruptcy and they took two years to get it done. The only reason they move forward is that they sent me an three other down to Court by accident and the Clerk of the County Court got involved. They then transferred my case to a local attorney's office here is JAX. This only happened after the clerk advised us to notify this attorney that the judge has been notified of their fraudulent activity.

Finally everything was taken care of but this group is not very professional.

Everything that is said in these reviews is true except the positive reviews. These could only be paid employees. I've got the same truths as everyone else RIPPED OFF! All I can say is karma is a#!\$% can't wait for this company to come face to face with her! Suck it lawyer asap!

Former employee, they pay workers to hustle for goid reviews. If you want a real in person review, walk in and ask to see your attorney. You will be told no, or you will speak to Kirk Collier who will lie. Ask to see your file on the computer so you can see time stamps of when work was actually done.

I paid all my money which was 2500 but when it came down to me calling them it was impossible to get a response back. They would not return calls or emails and in the end my case was re-assigned three times. They assigned me to attorney Annie Edmond who was also a complete nightmare. From the moment I first laid eyes on her she was in a posture that read I don't want to be here. I was not prepared for mediation at all. When I arrived I didn't even know what my attorney looked like no one even bothered to ask me what I wanted prior to mediation nothing was discussed. When I was bothered the day of mediation and expressed my frustrations to Annie Edmond of the lack of communication and my constant efforts to contact the firm via e-mail and phone with no response her attitude was disgusting. She spoke down to me and this is the person that is supposed to have your best interest and be representing you. When she said to me well what do you want me to do chase you around all day because I said two calls during my work hours last minute prior to mediation was unacceptable she rolled her eyes and so it went downhill from there. She withdrew from my case leaving me with no lawyer and a total loss of $2500. Not only did she do the worst imaginable to me but she also lied and said I fired her. So she also lied on top of that and cost me a whole lot more that I had to pay with the opposing party as a result of her misconduct and complete lack of respect for me the paying client. I advise you and warn you in advance do not go with this lady unless you want to be taken advantage off. Horrible a complete nightmare and I feel so violated, I regret the day I went to this firm and they assigned me this despicable woman. The firm tried to get me to agree to lies and to agree never to write reviews or speak on the matter by offering me a pathetic $500 refund out of my 2500, hush money. I did not accept of course and lost it all. I am losing the case with my daughter as a result of all the mess this caused me, heart broken doesn't even begin to explain what I feel.

Mr. Renda has been great to work with. He has given prompt service and is there when we need some help.
The process of filing is not easy and can be complicated at times, but we can count on Mr. Renda to provide the skills we need to make this process a little easier.

They were so nice at the consultation, they answered all questions and took a lot of time to explain things to me. After they received their money, they never picked up the phone and when they did, they would hang up. I left countless messages, I emailed the paralegal a million times.
At the meeting, a woman showed up to represent us. She didn't even work for the firm! My attorney was disbarred, the paralegal was rude ( never answered her phone or emails). They completely dropped the ball and didn't file the correct paperwork in time. When all was said and done, the case was bankruptcy case was dismissed and left me in financial ruin. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The name may have changed, but the game is the same. Keep Away from these scam-artists. If you are considering hiring these idiots, search for KEL Attorneys and read up about just how much they value their customers.

I'm from the UK and hired KEL (now LawyerASAP) in January 2016 to help with my immigration into America. I was offered a start-to-finish package deal to obtain US Citizenship for a set fee of $5000. 00 which I paid up front. That was the first and last time I was ever able to speak to an attorney at that firm. My file would go dead for months at a time and I was never able to get through to anyone on the phone. Their phone numbers kept changing, their offices kept moving, their lawyers and paralegals kept changing. It was a full time job just tracking them down all the time. In the end I had to side-step them completely and deal with Homeland Security myself. I sent dozens of emails and left dozens of voicemails in November alone and didn't get a single response. The only thing they are efficient at is getting your money up front but once they have your money, they and your money disappear. I wish I'd have read the horrendous reviews before hiring them but it's a lesson learned. Do yourselves a favor and avoid this firm like the plague. Don't be fooled by their initial professionalism as it only lasts as long as it takes them to bank your money. Laura Stevens.

Just about a year ago I secured KEL Attorneys to file Chapter 7 bankruptcy... communication was awful... required materials sent to KEL were returned as NOT Received... only to be resent again... had multiple document collectors throughout the process... THEN something amazing happened... I discovered that one of the KEL partners left the firm and was renamed LawyersASAP. I was able to connect with my Consumer Protection Intake Paralegal Thomas Renda, who assisted me (multiple times) in connecting me with his Manager, Kirk Collier who in turn connected me with one of the Law Firms Partners, Matt Englett. Although it has been a long journey... each of these individuals took to heart my frustration and made MY case a priority! I would also like to thank Paralegal Kenya Hylton who took time out of her day to walk me through the petition, line by line, to make sure everything was handled!

ASAP lawyers service is focus to process as much case as fast as they can. No interest for your case to be successful but their goal to get it done as fast as they can so they can close your case. By the way, you will be dealing with paralegals that all they do is to push paperwork and not negotiate on your behalf. Do not expect them to be defending your case aggressively. Is not their interest to extend the processes to win your case. Again, you are one more case for them to process. I deeply regret choosing this lawyer service. The number of comments in these reviews speak for them self, if you are thinking of hiring them. This law services are not for you.

For those who were interested in the suit against KEL attorneys (Lawyers ASAP) I have been speaking to some attorneys and everything I've been told is that we would not qualify for a class action because our cases are not exactly the same. In addition, the prices I've been given would actually cost me more than I could recoup from KEL. I finally wrote a scathing e - mail to them demanding my money back and called to make the same request. I was advised if they haven't filed paperwork they have to give you the money back, and even if there has been some work done they have to provide you with a breakdown of what was spent where and refund the difference. I can tell you that my paperwork was drawn, signed and filed within 24 hours of making that request. I would suggest you do that because unfortunately it looks as though there is some honor among thieves and getting an attorney to take the case is not going to be easy or without great cost. I am going to file a complaint with the Florida Bar and I suggest you do the same. I would also let them know that you intend to go to the media and report this malpractice. I hope that others see all these reviews and NEVER do business with them.

Please do not use this law firm! They took $1500 of our money, switched lawyers, lost our paperwork, changed paralegals, did not answer the phone and did not reply to emails for weeks. The receptionist, if she answers, put us on hold for ever and never returned.
It was a very simple filing of paperwork and after 8 months nothing was done.
Please file a consumer report, report them to the bar, do your research and hire a different firm. Perhaps put your money in escrow until the work is complete? I pray they are investigated for taking good peoples money.
Mr Oneil was our lawyer and we regret hiring him. He wasted our time and took our money with nothing filed.

ASSISTANT SAID ATTORNEY (BUT SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHICH ONE)WOULD REVIEW MY PAPERS AND CALL FOR OUR FREE CONSULTATION, BUT IF i WAS IN A HURRY, LEAVE THE $1500 DEPOSIT TO GO AHEAD AND WE COULD START AS SOON AS ATTORNEY REVIEWED. I CALLED AND CALLE3D. FIRSST ONE ATTORNEY, THEN ANOTHER WOULD REVIEW. FINALLY SECOND ONE SAID I HAD NO CASE BUT THEY REFUSE TO REFUND RETAINER EVEN THOUGH THEY DID NOTHING FOR ME. No show seems deliberate so they scam you out of 1500 and you are stuck to them like glue
