I recently purchased a business that was listed with Latona's and throughout the entire process, Adam Beebe was fantastic to work with. Him and the entire Latonas team were very responsive and willing to jump in and help with any questions. The information provided by Latonas is above the industry standards when reviewing businesses for sale and their overall process is very streamlined and effective. Once the purchase was complete, the owner of Latonas even scheduled a call with me to ask how things went. I found this to be a very nice touch and shows how much this company truly cares about both buyers and sellers and is doing their part to make the SMB space great. I will definitely use Latonas again!

I recently purchased a website brokered by Adam Beebe. Email contact was always swift, at any moment of the day, as well as in the weekends. I've got nothing bad to say about Adam.

One thing that surprised me though was the lack of processes put in place by Latona's. In particular transfer of website files, domains, and accounts related to the business.

This was the first time purchasing a website like this, but I assumed that's what a brokers for. The seller and I had to do this all by ourselves, which makes me wonder what the benefit of working with a brokerage firm is... They basically just sent emails back and forth between buyer and seller.

If I was the seller it might have been a different story though, and I do realise brokers mainly work for the sellers benefit, which is fair enough.

I have been so pleased to work with Latonas on selling my crypto business. Latona's has been in business for over 15 years and has a great reputation.
Latona's is the best place to go if you want to buy or sell your business. Not to forget, Adam Beebe is a true professional and was always there for me during the whole process, he's always willing to go above and beyond to help you getting things done properly.

Latona's guided us to sell our internet domain name. It brought about a good valuation and helped us find a buyer for it. I had a fantastic experience with Latona's and Chip! From his initial contact, many years before we were ready to sell, all the way to the close, Chip was great! My wife & I were selling our 21+ year business that we built from scratch. It was our baby, our family and Chip truly listened to our needs and wishes and the specifics of our business and what gave it value, not just the numbers like most other brokers. I got an email with the subject: "Buyers Interested in Your White Rabbit Press Business". After setting up a phone call the Latona rep admitted that they weren't aware of any buyers who were actually interested in our business. It was just a cold email aimed at getting me to list my site on their marketplace. Waste of my time.

I have purchased two businesses and sold one through Latona's. Adam Beebe was our advisor in both transactions. We have found Latona's team and especially Adam quite supportive and professional throughout the selling and buying process. A few times it felt like deals were not moving ahead but Latona's experienced team brought both of the transactions on track after successfully negotiating with both parties i. E. seller and buyer. My business was under offer within a week and sold after first due diligence. Thanks to Latona's.

I bought my first store with Latona's in July 2021. Both Adam Beebe and Ryan Lane were very helpful in providing all the relevant information and making the transaction fast and seamless. To anyone considering giving Latona's a shot, I 100% recommend it.

Bought a niche site that selling between $125,000 - $150,000. My broker was originally Salvador Vassallo, then Ryan Lane. The seller's name is Vinod Kumar, from India. Phone number (probably fake): +91 ******* *******.

Latona's says the site generates about $5,000 - 7,000 a month. Long story short, I followed my practice of having an inspection period of 10 days. But, it was close to year-end, so everyone - the broker, the seller, and the Escrow.com agent wanted to close as soon as they could. I have pushed back and didn't close on Christmas in 2019 like we have planned.

During the process, I have received some fake customers inquiries about banner ads, so everything seemed normal. Some even emailed me asking how to pay me.

Taking a leap of faith, I have released the escrow 100% as promised in exchange for the negotiated price. It didn't take long for all customers to disappear. Some customers even paid without sending me their banner ad image to be uploaded to the site.

I guess the seller got what he wanted, and he no longer has to have fake customers approaching or paying me.

Bottonline: Latona's don't sell money-making businesses. At least, they haven't in my case.

Advice #1. Next time you look at a Latona's listing, assume everything is fake and that the Latona's haven't done anything at all to validate the seller's profile, contact, financial information, anything at all.

Advice #2. When you see a seemingly good site / business from India, either just run away or do more background checks than necessary. They are capable of fabricating 5-year worth of customer record in PayPal, though many duplicated.

Advice #3. Either prepare how you will execute on legal actions or don't bother. Be prepared that brokers and sellers are ready to ignore any legal clauses. They will do anything and agree to everything you say to get you release the funding. Then, forget about warranty. They will be gone along with the money.

Why I write this review:

I thought of just accepting this as a reality without saying anything about it because I am obviously most responsible for this fiasco. And, instead of crying about this, I would rather make this work with what's left in the site (of course, we are talking about a high ROI vs. a single-digit ROI case).

So this review is more about others. I want to share my experience with people dealing with brokers and assets from owners from India. This is obviously just my experience.

Great professionals, great experience. I worked with Ryan, one of Latona's brokers, who sent me reliable qualified buyers and get my business sold. I will definately be using him again. I highly recommend Latona's.

Good experience working with Adam Beebe and the team at Latonas. This was my second purchase using them and both have been very smooth. Seller in the transaction was also good to work with. Quality of domains and businesses for sale are higher quality than many of the other sites out there.

Highly recommend Latona's for selling your ecommerce website. I had mine listed before with Flippa and Shopify Exchange, but Donna and co at Latona's were the ones to find me the deal I was looking for.

Even though I'm a small business, I never get like Adam cares less because of it. Latona's is more of a connect buyers and sellers than broker a transaction and watch closely the transfer and negotiations type of firm which was fine for me and the buyer.

I was approached several months ago about selling my website, which I'd been thinking about doing anyway. The broker, Ryan Lane, was very informative throughout the process (I hadn't sold a site before), and he walked me through every step of the way. Great guy. Although the sale didn't net me the price I'd originally hoped for, it was still a pleasing outcome. The only thing I wanted more of -- other than money -- was insight into what, exactly was being done on the marketing front. The site sold in three months or so, but it would've been nice to know more about what was going on during that time other than price drops. Still, I'd use Latona's again, including the specific broker I worked with, Ryan.
