If you are a decent looking American with an education, you will get hundreds of emails from beautiful women on this site. Do not send money online to anyone and you will be fine. Go for premium, it's not much more expensive. I did have someone from Ghana impersonate a New Zealander; its the internet, expect it. Ask to video chat quickly, most women here have WhatsApp or Skype.
Inbox is instantly flooded with messages from asian / african accounts ignoring everything you write in your profile, sending standarttexts and are only up to collect data and have you add them in whatsapp where they will start asking for money. 9 out of 10 are a attempt to scam you. They even send exactly the same messages with the same whatsappnumber from different accounts at the same time. I dont blame the platform itself but ist just horrible
You expose yourself to rip off and harassment if you engage with this con site. When you discover that all profiles are fake and want to unsubscribe they won't let you do it and will keep charging you.I found a legit site
Jst4HookUp
And it has been really helpful. They have genuine women and their women are very beautiful and sweet in communication.
Don't engage with InternationalCupid and don't let them bait you into buying a membership, it's anything but a dating site! It's not suitable for those looking for serious relationship. Even if you want a girl for a night or for vacation InternationalCupid is useless money vacuum.
I received messages from NO ONE but fake profiles mainly from Africa and Asia - bots, disregarding all the preferences you set on your profile. Apparently no real person is on this page.
How they haven't been sued for fraud is beyond me.
I purchased a gold membership to the site for 3 months. From day one I was experiencing glitches, bad matches and very poor search functions. I complained to their help department and they blew me off. I asked for my money back and they said I have used their site and there was no refunds. I told them I would seek a refund from Visa and then they threatened me. Very poor business practices. I will never use them again.
Tip for consumers:
No refunds even if the site doesn't work so buyer beware
This site is an absolute WASTE of time and your hard earned money. I'd venture to say about 95% of the profiles on here are scammers. To be fair, even if InternationalCupid actually tried to get rid of scammers, it'd be an impossible task (You'd need an ARMY of moderators) and there'd be next to no members on the site. If you try to message any of these people on here they will immediately ask you to take the chat to google, Skype, WhatsApp, so they can ask you for money.
Tip for consumers:
RUN
International Cupid is a legitimate dating site and it is definitely possible to meet a nice potential partner who fits your criteria. It is a bit pricey for the premium gold/platinum/diamond memberships and you really only get unlimited messaging and some better analytics and bells and whistles which aren't really all that impressive. For example, as a diamond member, you will "rank above all members" but if you're unattractive it's not going to help you all that much. Gold membership is the way to go if you just need messaging and basic perks.
What you need to know about International Cupid is that if you're not looking to meet African women then you may want to consider other Cupid site options. I signed up a couple of weeks ago and the vast majority of likes/messages that I receive are from those women. As someone looking for Asian and Latina women, primarily, I probably should heed my own advice but hey I just want to put that out there.
In summary it is a valid and legitimate dating site, with lots of completely real ladies to talk to. Of course there are scammers and fake accounts but they're mostly quite obvious if you've been on dating sites before. If you're looking to meet a nice African lady this is the site for you but if not you may want to consider other options.
Tip for consumers:
If you're looking to meet African women then it's an excellent website.
Within 5 minutes they ask you to contact them with google chat, skype or whatsapp. Only people with another agenda would do this... The website is full of those profiles!
Tip for consumers:
it is an automatic renewal prescription. At least turn it off if you paid allready.
LUCKILY, I read the reviews first, then I tried this "fantastic" dating site. Thanks guys for the reviews, all of you were right. This website is full of crap, fake profiles, always asking for your email and WhatsApp, tons of messages from Africa, Thailand, the Philippines, Ukraine, China, etc. I'd have more chance to find a real girlfriend on a desert island. Then this "free hour trial". Lots of messages from attractive ladies. All of them asking for my email, WhatsApp, Google hangout or Skype. None of them happy with messenger. Interesting..
Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time.

I beautiful Ukrainian woman named Svetlana contacted me via the site.
She asked for my email address, which I gave to her.
After 3 emails silence.
The other thing was, her written English was impeccable.
When you consider the International Cupid address is in Queensland, Australia you can obviously join the dots.
If anyone gets this email address (
S v e t a p a s r t r y s h e f@ g m a i l. C o m)when they reply to you, you'll know it's definitely a scam.
Avoid this site like the plague.

Every Gambian man is on this site, falling in love with you in two seconds flat, love bombing you, confessing their undying love for you even though they don't even know your name. It's hysterical! They see the USA or Europe and think money. I can't believe people actually pay for this site.
T relieves stress, it gives hope and confidence to keep on praying that once l subscribe l wl definately get my super wedding ring and an everlasting love for my life. International relatiinship is indeed a wonderful platform. L cant wait to subscribe as soon as l get money to

Be hopeful and do not shy to like and prsy about it until you find the love of your life
I signed up with this site for a while.
Bunch of women out there seeking support and money help. A lot of women will text you trying to chat with you at the same time they chat with other members. And most of the time they are online available almost 24 hours I was wondering looks like they don't go to sleep. It's hard to get a woman seeking true intentions. I paid the money for the subscription but I do feel not satisfied.
The owner of this site Internationalcupid.com doing a good business $$$
Making the site successful for a lot of woman asking for money help.
Because we are members from western countries.
We can't even count the stupid messages coming from these asking about money. Because a bunch of messages everyday inbox.
That's why I'm saying headache site.
Some other women I met they just using the site for extra time not for serious intention
No make sense I did block a lot of members

Dear William,
Thank you for the positive rating! We wish you the very best in your search for love. Please contact us at www.internationalupid.com/en/help/helpdesk if you have any concerns.
I met 5 scammers in a day.
I trust sites which react immediately if there is a scammer report, as a result the amount of real people looking for relationship is nearly 100% there. I wish Internationalcupid did the same. But they do nothing to clear out scam. When I reported those 3 women with all necessary proofs there was no reaction from customer service. It doesn't look like they take customer satisfaction seriously enough and they do nothing to deter scammers from signing up or to clear them out.
I have used this site on and off for a couple of years and wanted to give an account of my own experiences, as I've noticed quite a few reviewers who have come away feeling confused and distressed.
It is a basically genuine site, so long as you also accept that not all the profiles are real. One problem is that signing up is very easy - you can create a near blank profile if you like - and so scammers do turn up and will make contact with you. Perhaps the site administrators could make ID verification compulsory (at the moment it is optional), although of course they would lose a lot of their members who might not want to upload a photo of their passport or driving license into the site.
So my advice is, if you want to get the best out of the site (and there are real jewels within to be found), then you just have to learn to deal with the scammers. For example, be instantly suspicious of any profile which shows a beautiful, model looking girl with a single photo and almost nothing written on her profile. And not least when she writes you a generic email, having obviously not looked at your profile, and tells you she wants your email address so she can continue correspondence elsewhere.
In general, if a woman's first response to you is monosyllabic, or she is immediately asking for further contact details in some ways, through other social media, then don't bother. Someone who is really interested in your profile will make the effort to write in the normal way and get to know you a bit better.
And in relation to that, accept that while some beautiful women who seem interested will be fake, others will be completely genuine. You just have to be able to judge it. You don't have to walk away straight away if you're suspicious, take time to check out the person, as you would in a normal face to face situation. Just don't part with any personal information (or money) until you are sure. If they are honestly interested, they will accept that from you. And in relation to that, don't fall in love with the first beautiful woman who comes along and flatters you, as if you'll suddenly do anything for her. Avoid getting carried away with your emotions until you actually meet this person and see them in the flesh.
Keep it real: think about how you expect to communicate with people in normal life. If a woman seems a bit strange, or disinterested, or there are obvious contradictions in what she tells you, then be suspicious as you would if you had met her face to face in a bar.
If you can exercise a little judgement and not get carried away, then I can tell you that the site is otherwise a little treasure trove. I have been on hot dates with women from South Africa, Germany and Denmark over a period of 12 months, and I was not even a regular user of the site. I am now engaged to the third women I met - we corresponded for a month online before first meeting, and we just clicked. I just knew she was for real quite early on.
So to sum up, I would say that at least 80% of the profiles are completely genuine. Over time, you do get better at spotting the bad apples. So don't give up hope! There is someone out there for all of you. Good luck!

I'm glad I only signed up for 1 weeks service on this site, does this site have any real poeple looking to date I replied to dozens of message and after 10 minutes of conversaton every single one of them turned out to be some kind of scammer one went to the trouble of trying to blackmail me when I reported this to admin nothing was done and the profile is still there. This site should be closed as a matter of public safety
"... Access Denied...", blocked me, but why? HAHA such a joke. Blocked me because I haven't logged in for like 1 month? Or what? Such a stupidity.
It worked, the boring was (and is) fake people who write, want me to contact them by email, share Whatsapp etc.
I ignored to answer these people, just deleted these messages, was it therefor they blocked me?
So I got blocked 1. Because I haven't logged in like 1 month OR 2. Becaus I don't reply to scammers...
Tip for consumers:
Terrible, scam
I paid for the gold service. I immediately requested a refund as they deducted more money than stated. Poor customer service. Lack of skills. Was told a refund will be processed in a few days. They don't say how many days just a few. Then I was denied access. I want my money back. I have reported this to my bank as fraudulent. I will now be taking it further and posting reviews on every site I can find. I will also have a lawyer involved.
Tip for consumers:
Don't bother using it
The site is awful with enormous number of fake profiles and catfishers from all over the world. I'm convinced that these scammers are deliberately let in and encouraged as long as they have pretty pics. I have never met anyone for real.
Surely, the majority of the women I talked to asked me for $ sooner or later. Then I realized that I was just wasting my time and left this d*^n phony site.
You can't wait for happiness all your life – just go for it and take action. But not on Internationalcupid!
OMG... I wish I read the reviews first. This site is controlled by scammers, it's been one day since I joined
Close to 75 introductions. Everyone of them wanting my email or to move from the site. Every single one. This site is absolute garbage and should be taken down. These $#*!s from Ghana are the main culprits. Stealing photos creating fake profiles. And this site could do so much more to stop it but they don't. Complete waste of time garbage rip off website. So pissed

I've joined the site on and off for a couple of years and I find it to be very legit with lots of messages and interests from women all around the world with no issues what so ever. I just don't bother with the much younger women messaging me. But all in all I think the site is great and easy to use. That's my intake on it anyway
Tip for consumers:
There’s women from all around the world
Dear Robert,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us this amazing review. We do try to give you the best value for what you pay by giving you the best experience that's effective and safe. Good luck in your search for love.
99.9 % people on this website are fake.
All the "females" from Philippines, Ukraine and Russia are scammers.
They are posting pictures taken from internet and asking for money.
Cupid support mostly from Philippines are insane.
Stay away.
Tip for consumers:
Don't waste your time on this website
I signed up for free, after a couple of days I paid for a membership. A day later, my profile was temporarily suspended. Anybody know a reason for it, I sure as hell don't. They could have at least sent me an email telling me why. My best guess is I suspected a lot of scammers so I just deleted all of their requests without even reading them.
It would have been nice to have a reason listed. So far money wasted.
Tip for consumers:
It's your own fault if you waste your time on this site.
I will score 3 stars for now because I'm not sure if some things are true. More than 20 beautiful women every single day are starting a conversation with me. And obviously the site suggests sign up as member to keep the conversation. I do have sense that im not SO NICE LOOKING ti have so many giirls after, I even cant open all messages Im seeking for someone saying thas is website BOT to force user to be member, doesnt looks real methinks... At moment

I have not found one genuine guy on this site. My preferrences are ignored. No one is interested in you as a person, only how quickly they can get you offsite. Sad that I wasted good money on this...
