INSZoom

When I clicked 5 Stars for review it said "You love it so much you want to tell the entire world" yes I do, I had suggested INSZoom to my Management for Immigration solutions, not only are they elated with the performance of the software and better management but I get appreciated for an intelligent input by bringing INSZoom forward. Just Great, is the word!

There's so much bad to say. They "upgrade" the system several times a year, which results in complete overhauls in the way the system works and looks. This is a classic example of developers making changes simply to justify their jobs. With each "upgrade" there are more and more features that have absolutely nothing to do with any "normal" immigration practice, and they have recently starting requiring you to complete forms in certain ways, whether these are truly required by USCIS or not. (Example: they dictate that you use mm/dd/yyyy format even in fields that USCIS couldn't care less about - you can't save the data unless you use INSZoom's dictated format.)
Their support has improved a lot over the years, but that isn't saying a lot. You can now speak to someone who speaks intelligible English, at least. Instead of addressing your concern, they feel they have to call and site your computer, even if you have a very quick question.
I could go on and on with the frustrations I have over this software program. But the main problems are to do with their over-development and over-complication of something that could be much simpler. All I can say is BEWARE. I don't know anyone who likes this program (or if they do, they haven't been using it long).

The initial contact was not good. Their staff is not paying attention to the contents of your email. If you don't have an account with them you are more likely be ignored. I checked their standard package and subscribed to it, the software relies so much on the internet that it keeps on refreshing every time you click a link. If your internet is slow, you would end up spending more time waiting after the page loads completely. In terms of compatibility, the software is more inclined to Microsoft's obsolete Internet Explorer. There are functions you wont be able to use when you use other browsers. Not to mention their software interface is not user friendly. You have to click everything before you will be able to find what you are looking for or not at all.

I have made 4 attempts to cancel our firm's subscription. INSZoom makes it impossible to cancel. We have long since stopped using their forms and their clunky questionnaires. They will not respond to our calls and they will not call us back.

I had INSZoom as our forms program both as a solo practitioner and in a mid-size firm. My experience was terrible in all aspects. The program itself is not intuitively built. Inputting data is a chore and requires multiple steps to enter something as simple as an alien number. Technical support honestly tries, but doesn't get the job done. For example, it was actually suggested that I install the FREE version of my very expensive software because my expensive, paid, Pro version was having problems with INSZoom. When I asked if the two would conflict on the same computer, there was a long pause and then, "Oh, yeah, maybe."

I was also never told that INSZoom is not compatible with OS X. While they claim they have workarounds, they DO NOT WORK. I am very computer savvy (I have a bachelor's degree in computer science and spent my life before I became an attorney doing technical support). I know how to make things work, and this DID NOT WORK. I ended up having to run a virtual PC on my Mac to get the program to work, and that was barely a solution.

Finally, THEY HOLD YOUR DATA HOSTAGE! Do not contract with them without being aware that, should you choose to leave them, you will have to pay up to (and maybe more, by the time you read this) FOUR HUNDRED DOLLARS just to get your data back. They acknowledge that you own the data, but they want to be "compensated" for extracting your data. Unlike other programs where you have your own, separate database, they MERGE YOUR CLIENT DATA WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S. That's why it costs so much to get your data back - they have to pull it out line by line. DO NOT USE SUCH A POORLY PROGRAMED, INSECURE PROGRAM. I am disgusted by their treatment of me as a client and intelligent human being. When I saw through their excuses and was aware of how poorly they programmed their database, they had no response. In fact, they delayed the receipt of my database even further by "forgetting" to get written authorization to charge my card the ridiculous $400 fee.

There are plenty of other great programs out there. I've tested many. Don't use INSZoom.

I work for a small immigration law firm in San Antonio and we use INSZoom. Not only are their questionnaires not correctly matched with the actual forms, but we are having to update these questionnaires ourselves because they take a really long time to respond to your requests. That's IF they respond. They also have a lot of glitches when you are on their website. Overall, I would not recommend.
