Everything i see says that the items ordered will be more expensive than if purchased in the store. but how much more expensive? how calculated?

Answer:

Instacart does not give you the sale prices from the store. So if the peanut butter is 3.50 on sale. Instacart will charge you 4.80 regular price. Their prices are all over the board but on average you are paying 20% more.

Question:

How can i get a return phone call??????

Answer:

You can't! The only way I got a response from them was when they emailed me to rate my driver and I gave a bad review for her and Instacart. I got an email back. Otherwise, there is no Customer Service! I tried everything under the "Help" section and got nowhere!

Why does the instacart service have 240 single star ratings (horrid, the worst), and less than 20 ratings for all other stars. what is wrong with it?

Answer:

They increase the prices of every item that you order so you end up paying like 20-30% more than normal retail prices.

I have emailed several times and told to call. Latest wait time 4 hours! Online chat still not available.

Instacart has several stores on its service... depending on the area you live in. In some areas, it has liquor stores like ABC Wines and for a separate service fee, they will send you what you want.

My instacart account and bank credit card were probably compromised on 8-6 and so far instacart has done nothing except lock my account. i have not heard from them for two days. the phone reps don't have access to relevant info, and i can't get through to any managers. this is negligence at least. any ideas how i can find out if i've been hacked?

Answer:

Bottom line... they dont care... they wont help and even tho the app says someone will reach out to you they never will. Best bet to get new bank card just to be safe. Instacart rips people off and they arent going to help at all.

I saw 3 of your workers today at aldis . none of them wore face masks nor gloves. how do i know if they are contaminating the groceries they touch?

Answer:

Seriously? They have already scientifically proven that is not spread that way. How many strangers & kids and semi drivers and warehouse people touch your stuff before it even leaves the store.

Does instacart deliver cigarettes?

Answer:

No, they don't by policy. But I've found they don't deliver anything else either. Last two orders were cancelled. I dumped my account and told them to keep the gift card balance. Done with InstaCart.
