I should have read the review before i signed up with this company. It seems that everyone has the same thing to say. They don't keep with their promises. The account managers only reach out to you in the very beginning. I talked to my account manager and she had no idea who i was, claiming she has more than 500 accounts and doesn't have time to deal with mine. Very dishonest company. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM!

Just another California SEO company, that can't do what they say. After three months I took them up on their policy of free service until my business was on the first page of Google. I haven't heard a word since, nor have I been charged. Sell them and forget them is their policy. As of 3/23/16, I have cancelled my agreement. Thank God I only lost $199.00.

I signed on with ILocal Gurus late last year and have never seen any results. Promised to be pushed to the front of the Google Maps section. Supposed to be making post for my business on the Google + page. Hasn't made any in over 6 months. Made repeated attempts to talk to Ian and others at this so called company but never get phone calls returned or they are always "IN A MEETING". Its completely ridiculous and a complete waste of time and money. *BEWARE* Never do business with I local Gurus!

I have worked with iLocalGurus for 2yrs now. In the beginning i was a little Leary because they had a hard time getting access to my google business page but they were very accommodating during that time. Once we got access through google it was all up hill from there. Within 2months my business was on the front page of google and im still there. They lie and say they handle the map listings for google. The clown Ian Lindon tried to tell me that Google doesn't own Google Maps, lol. He claims anti-monopoly laws somehow make him the owner of google maps! This guy is a liar and a crook.

Google controls google's content. Nobody can promise you ANY kind of ranking on google search, google maps, or anything else. Follow google's guidelines for a good listing.

THE SALES ARE HIGH PRESSURE AND CHASE MAKES YOU FEEL LIKE YOUR ON A TIME LIMIT OR RACE TO GET THE LAST SPOT AVAIL TO ADVERTISE. CHASE WIL TELL YOU YOUR GOING TO BE ON THE FRONT PAGE IMEDIATELY IF YOU SIGN UP NOW. TRY 45-60 DAYS TO FULLY OPTIMIZE. AND THEN HE LIKES TO ACT TOUGH ON THE PHONE. TOTAL DISRESPECT AND LIES!

Upstanding performance for three months now. On the second month I was thinking of changing loyalty to another branding company but when I called in and ask questions about how things were going I thoroughly impressed with the insights I wasn't aware of that I decided to bestow my loyalty to I-Local Gurus indefinitely. In the second month things were looking pretty good but then by the third month my phone was ringing off the hook with new business. I-local gurus = wish granted.

This company called me regarding google placement. I have never been more appalled and disrespected by someone trying to make a sale before in my life. The man that called me, Sonni, was incredibly condescending and repeatedly implied that because I am female, that I do not know anything. The truth of the matter is not only can I run circles around him, I'm also savvy enough to not let other people deal with this joke of a company blindly.

This company keeps calling to try and get business and the whole sales spiel is a total waste of time.
Not sure how to get our phone numbers removed from their data base, but I guess they waste valuable business time because of Can Spam laws.
Maybe their should be Can Spam laws about phone calls.
The worst time wasters I have ever seen

I started an account with these scam artists as a rash decision seeing as I have a brand new plumbing company and can use the extra help marketing online. To my dismay they put forth next to no effort and took over $300.00 from me. They have a few smooth talking sales techs that will make you believe they are Gods gift to marketing but in reality, all they do is take your money, put a few stupid keywords on your google plus page (easily done yourself) and sign you up to 100 free listings at the click of a button for them (after about 20+ days and you calling to ask them wtf they are doing). They try to state they are "optimizing" and "pushing" your keywords as if they are doing something more then stated above, however when you ask them what exactly they are doing to "push" your keywords they start speaking in circles, so therefor, NOTHING!. For $200.00 a month and $300.00 up front this is one of the biggest scams going, STAY AWAY!

I had horrible marketing and exposure before I signed up w I local gurus. They completely turned my business around and were so helpful and friendly. They always took time to hear me out and address any questions or concerns I had. I especially love their customer service team. They got me ranking on the first page and so many directories all of my customers tell me that's how they hear about me and find me. I am so grateful I signed up because the amount of money I pay monthly is SO worth the amount of money I make monthly because of them!

I local gurus was the best decision I ever made. They saved my business. It took a little while but customer service is always there to answer any questions I have. Thank you I local gurus.

Are company traffic has gone up 3 fold since we singed up with Ilocalgurus.
If you don't understand SEO or the directories listings its OK. This process takes time but for what these guys provide for the price is un heard of. The website are one of a kind with the ease of using your Facebook business page. Awesome!
If you think you can get all the services for the price these guys offer go ahead but I was paying $999 per month from a company that I had no control of my website.
Being pro active is a plus but ILG will help you. The problem is most people are lazy and think it magic. Bottom line is if you don't start with internet marketing you will be left behind.

Having a lot of problems with this company do not give them your card information they will keep charging your account even after you tell them to cancel and will not take your calls when you try and contact them. Wouldn't recommend their services to anyone

So they called wanting to sell us SEO. I very politely asked to be put on the do not call list. They refused, stating it was my fault they called because our BBB rating was so high. I wanted to get their info so I said, "okay, what are you selling?" They told me. I asked for their info - they gave me a bogus company name... it took a bit of research to discover they were iLocalGurus and not the other company. They are terrible, and it's obvious that all of the "good" reviews out there are from employees. Stay away. Hint: if they were any good at SEO, wouldn't you be able to find them in a Google search for SEO companies?

There a lot of deadbeats out there that don't understand the process of SEO based on the review I see. For me I understand that for the price these guys charge its nothing compared to what I was paying before at a starting point of $1200 a month.
Come on people know before you blow... I'm very happy with the customer service that I have received from day one! Welcome call was done the same day and they communicated with me for about a month until my first phase of my campaign was complete. Remember this is a intro to SEO at a fraction of the cost and if your pro active they will get you ranking...

These people will die slow deaths for their telemarketer calls claiming to be google. They buy your business phone number call for you and say they'll call back again soon when you say don't call me.

This company has not done what they said they would do. There people are really rude if i was anyone else that is reading this i would stay off there site i'm so done with them

I'm an investor and I do a lot of outsourcing for SEO services and the like. I have a partner named Gary who told me I could save about a-thousand dollars going with a company called ilocal - the one I'm reviewing now. I said to Gary - no way for that price, I've tried 'em all mentality. Gary showed me what they did for him in the past and I said I'd be willing to place a bet with him. If the company site ranked within 3 months I'd include that in the investment fund - if not, then he'd cover the loss AND agree to pay one of my other SEO companies the thousand or so a month. With the deal in my favor either way we agreed to me paying ilocal for three months. OK I'm still with them after now, five months. They're doing just about as good as my choice SEO company. Bottom line: I'd bet my money on ilocal again in the future.

Nice lady have called me and offer their services to have my bussness on the first page of Google. In the moment notice I have been transferred to another person. He offered me $100 of from their regular service.
I have told him that would like to do research on them to be sure and will call back.
He told me THANK YOU FOR WASTING EVERYDODY'S TIME.

Due to the fact that marijuana was just legalized in California a lot more/NEWER stoners are going to be looking for a way to find weed but they dont know about weed maps so i gave i local gurus / zack a little bit of trust only because he was super nice i went with a 239$ package so he could build me a website and he could set me up to my full potential at first i was mad cuz i didn't get any calls from google for the first 60 days and i called to cancel but they told me to be patient and i did
That was 4 months ago and now i dont have have a delivery service anymore i just opened up a storefront in laguna beach i still get calls and my website is perfect i am glad i gave it a little bit of trust

Originally I was going to put 4 stars since I was eager to see my results and assumed it would be instant after purchase. Understandably it took about 90 days for everything to be up and working but once it was my return on the my investment was about %350 and is still growing. My business has tripled despite the slow start for this service. It definitely isnt a "get rich quick" system but certainly added a lot of credibility to my business and quality for potential customers searching for my business and for customers via word of mouth. It has been 9 months since I opened my account and like many people was a tad disgruntled at the start. And after reading these reviews and not seeing results immediately i called them and though I was very vehement in presenting my inquiry a customer service lady explained everything. Clearly stated in an email that it may take 90 days I waited the 90, and now am very grateful I did.

This company makes false promises. Google constantly changes their algorithm to prevent exactly that. No company can promise top listings and Google makes it very clear. Talk to a professional and save $1,200 a year.
