Very poor quality of service. Unable to provide simple information.general questions end up debates. When addressing concerns of this conduct person got defensive and hostile. Will be seeking another health care insurance provider. As of today. May 12thI just joined 2 weeks ago. If this is the pattern now. Why would I want to stay they can call and say what ever. I no longer care my decision is finally due to the conduct of humana
Humans spending account card is worthless. Absolutely zero information from Humana has been sent to me pertaining to the allowable items or stores it can be used at. They DO NOT tell you that you are responsible for taxes! Their website says I can call a taxi or Uber to take me places but I CAN NOT buy gas to drive myself to Dr appts. I can buy dog toys, tho? What!?!? Car insurance is not covered. Getting cash back to buy things not covered is not possible. This program is a bad joke!
Humana sent me a insurance card that was fraudulent, almost got arrested for trying to use it.
I complained and they sent a letter claimed they insured me in 2021. They sent the card to me in 2018? These people are completely liars

I change plans this year to Humana what a mess and debacle it is the dental that they tell you $2,000 that they will give you does not even cover pulling a tooth or even dentures and as for their insurance on your prescriptions everything you get nine chances out of 10 will need to have a prior authorization even though you had it already approved through your prior carrier and it was Medicare approved I am leaving Humana and going back to United Healthcare by far UnitedHealthcare blows Humana out of the water in Suffolk County

I am an in network provider with Humana. I accepted a Humana insured for treatment. I verified his benefits. All seemed in order. Now they refuse to pay me hundreds of dollars because I am "not in-network" with HIS Humana plan. How would I know that? How would I know that in-network does not mean in-network? This company has given me many problems over the years and I believe their denial of payment is simply a scam. I will never accept another Humana insured in my practice again.
Beware. The information on the Humana website is out of date, or the wait times for new patients is 6 months. And nurse/practitioner substitute not always offered, or you could pay a deductable.
Don't trust them. Verify. And phone support terrible. Over 3 hours battling this today.
On this Veterans Day, my veteran is sitting in a hospital room because HUMANA won't release him to the rehab. He had surgery 5 days ago and rehab has been ready for him for 3 days. Humana is holding my guy hostage in the hospital and I am worried about his mental and physical health at this point. Humana is to blame. I give Humana a minus *******! Do not sign up for Humana Medicare!
Worst dental coverage you can find. I would not recommend them at all. They make sure you don't cover your deductible at all costs. They are constantly calling me to beg for a positive rating or want me to sign up for their assessments. And they make it so hard to change insurance companies.

Had an old one from two years ago. I had deleted that email account and had no way to retrieve it.
Several months later, I mailed in a request form for a paper account, but never received any paper invoices.
Furthermore, it took six weeks to send out the "service provider" booklet, after three phone calls! This firm is more concerned about free cash flow, then professionally servicing their paid accounts.
Humane, has declined from acceptable to a complete AVOID.
Humana dental is a scam been trying to get a refund for almost $4000 for six months now I paid affordable dentures for thousand dollars because they said Humana dental would refund me this has been going on for six months now I have called many times each one of them tell me different things i've had that insurance for years I never have used it until now nothing but liars I know I'm never gonna get that money so let them keep it you get tired after a while

I have had ups and down with Humana. But you have them with all insurance companies. I like that I got 50$ gift card just being healthy. And they have Humana nurse call me! There is also silver sneakers. So all and all they are good!
Don't waste your money. Over last 2 years they continue to find reasons to deny your dental claims. You don't even get insurance discount rates. I have been stuck with over $6,000 in preventative dental care for me and my granddaughter. Please, please use another company
I am stuck with Humana for awhile but I don't recommend it They raised my premium through the roof when I called to say I could not.afford the insurance the girl yelled at me threatening to cancel my insurance I will disenroll soon when I find something better they are not a good company and their commercials a more human way for insurance a way to abuse the elderly is more like it

I called Humana to report a fraud claim, the person I talked to said you need to call the special fraud unit. She gave me a phone number. I called the number it turned out to be Humana pharmacy. I guess she just gave me a false number. After I was on the phone for a period of time I got the run around. I was upset. I also was prompted to give a review call, but I never got that call. Humana get your $#*! together.
Unlike others, I cannot complain about the actual insurance part. I have had no issues with what they claimed was covered and what was received. My one star is for their website. Been a member for 4 years and they have tried on at least 3 occasions to upgrade the site. The latest, IF YOU CAN LOG IN, is the best so far but still is slow and cumbersome. Tried to log in at least six times today and all failed with an "oops, something went wrong, try again". NSS!
Humana website pharmacy you order otc meds or items, you will have to start at the top again to scroll down to products it is time consuming, it takes about 2 wks, to get your products you order mail is slow.

Please stay away from this company for your own good. I had a doctor prescribe a medicine that isn't normally used for the disease I had contracted. Obviously, HUMANA refused to pay for the meds. My doctor received a commendation in a medical journal for treating my illness as he did. Even when he sent HUMANA a letter outlining why he prescribed the medicine, they STILL REFUSED TO REIMBURSE me!
They are arrogant and not at all for the patient/customer. PLEASE STAY AWAY!

Humana is the worst company we've ever dealt with. My wife got encephalitis & spent 5 days in intensive care in Mexico. Our bill was $31,000+. We had to pay partially out of pocket. She had to go back to the ER one week later because she was having a seizure. They would not keep her overnight for observation because we owed the hospital money. It took a complaint with the Better Business Bureau & several complaints to their grievance dept. before we received any reimbursement, after being told it was being processed & a check would be released within a couple of weeks. It took nine months of listening to their lies & misinformation & even then, they only reimbursed us $17,000. We cannot use this hospital for any treatment, emergency or otherwise. She fell & needed emergency elbow surgery & had to use a surgical center six months later. We had to borrow the $7,500 & pay in advance. We are both on a fixed incomes, social security & disability. Again, Humana said use the center & reimbursement, once again, & it would not be a problem. That claim was denied & we are going through the same process. We had letters from our orthopedic surgeon stating that she could not travel due to the illness & injury. This company is an embarrassment & I would advise any new applicant to look elsewhere. We will continue to post on social media for the rest of our lives until we get some satisfaction. This country is greatly suffering due to lawyers & insurance companies, especially when they are dealing with the elderly & retired. This is another negative review in a long list of horrible reviews. I only hope that those employees making life altering decisions go through what we have & continue to go through. The government needs to look at this company very closely as their practices are extremely unfair & biased. Again, save yourself much aggravation & wasted time, & look elsewhere.
Their representitves would tell you any lies to just sell their insurance, after you buy they say your plan is not eligible for what you ask for in first place!

No meds yet can't even get a provider book can't get on line because they say they will send a code but they never do was promised someone would call and help me never did person that sighed me up doesn't want to be bothered in case of emergency I don't even know what hospital to go to
I order by mail to get 90 dat supplies. I tend to be forgetful and wait until the last minute. I have asked that They call 2 wks. Before my rx is due, hahaha, an I give permission to full my order. This has been going on for 3 mos. That is how long O have been using then.
Humana has a habit of refusing payment so there are no neuro-surgeons in a 2 million metro area that accepts this "insurance". Any CAT or MRI scans needed are not possible. You have to find a G. P. willing to write scripts for it and it is a nightmare. 8 procedures were refused payment when I was in the hospital and I appealed every one to arbitration-arbitrator was in total agreement so Humana sent a letter out to complete the resolution. You can finish the case on the net or phone-they ask for a number, not recognized on either means and of course no humans to talk to in order to resolve the issue. Try calling complaint number and your chances of a completion are slim as they are always experiencing Higher than normal call volume. Obviously a lot of dissatisfaction. I have diabetes and you can google it but all testing and measuring supplies are covered in full by Medicare-unless you have Humana and 6 months and counting with a different refusal for every claim. I believe their policy is to beat you down and they win. Friends in Wi. Are experiencing the same problems. She has a ruptured disc, can not walk and is intense pain and had to wait for 13 days for an approval for an MRI which did not show the problem, same cycle repeated until the disc was found. You receive unsolicited colo-rectal test kits and 3 calls a week over nonsense. Two different employers provide this insurance as it is most obviously bottom tier. If you value decent coverage avoid this provider, frankly I get more timely and humane treatment from my vet.
In a world full of insurance company crooks, Humana is crowned king. I was promised a dental plan that fully covered two routine cleanings per year with a $50 lifetime deductible. I received a bill for over $100 from my dental provider showing that Humana did not pay the full amount for my first routine cleaning (deductible already paid). I attempted to cancel my insurance, and the agent informed me that I am "unfortunately passed the refundable period and still under contract for one year." Therefore, monthly premium payments for the entire year remain my responsibility with a canceled insurance policy.

I've submitted several claims, several times over the past few months. When I call in, no one sees the claims. So then after being passed around from employee to employee, someone finally gives me their personal office fax number and verifies that they received the claims, again. After a few weeks go by, I try to check on the claim status. They are non existent! So I go through the same process 2 more times. Mind that each time takes over an hour of being transferred around and having to tell the whole story again and again. This is the worst insurance company I've ever "tried" to work with in my whole 47 years on earth! The employees obviously don't know what they are doing, and neither does the management!
AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS, unless you just like wasting hours of your life on the phone and paying premiums for doing it...
