HostBig is certainly affordable, and their tech support is response if hosting issues occur. However, tech support is reactive, not pro-active, which means that potential calamitous issues (wordpress database corruptions, hacker intrusions, etc) were only found after I reported - and had to keep insisting - about website issues. This, overall, resulted in unacceptably poor website performace. The final straw was global rejection of our emails because the server that we were parked on was associated with malicious websites. Affordable, yes. Tech support is trying to keep up but seem understaffed. In the end, what you get is what you pay for.
Hostbig is a big fraud company. If you want to lose your business and clients and want to get panicked 24/7 then please go for this site. I am from India and they are in other parts of the world. They had tremendous problem with their registrar Tucos in 2016, 2017. Let me tell you that I had a sleepless night and a nightmare while dealing with them. If you have any website or websites and especially domain, then please migrate immediately without any delay to the better hosting service provider. I wouldn't even recommend even for FREE.
Hostbig have no customer support. Either by chat or opening a ticket. No phone at all for customer when having problem recently.
HOSTBIG has SUSPENDED my account THREE times claiming overload, when I have had less than 10 people on my site. The site is just a showcase for potential investors, showing images that are less than ten. I also get NO email from them and they can not resolve the situation. They gave me TWO email addresses for their BILLING dept but all are not working. I get the mail bounced back to my email. I have tried several times. They do not email you if there is a problem, they simply post a "suspended " notice on your site! That suspension says I have not paid my bill yet my bill is not due for another two months. Before they did that three times in the last two months. It is BAD business and bad for potential investors looking at the products. I am now having to change servers and go through all the crap again transferring files. HOSTBIG also changed their name to HOST FAST I believe and probably so due to all the bad reviews. They suck!
Been using this company for a couple years, have had issues occasionally, but this most recent problem was with an IP address being flagged as spam so I can't send emails to customer because they keep getting automatically returned. Started several chat sessions only to be transferred to another rep and then disconnected. They don't offer help over the phone so you are at their mercy. I am seriously looking for a new hosting plan because this company is useless.
Having been with host big for a while and suffering problems with email and never having been resolved we decided to switch provider. The worst experience ever of my life and too many people not resolving anything in customer service
HostBig had some BS dispute with Tucows and all our domains were switched off and made redundant... now HostBig are asking to renew the account which they are in no position to host...
HostBig is a fraud!

I had a site hosted with HostBig, they increased the cost very high and even wanted me to Pay late payment fees i am not sure why. When i requested them to backup of the site so that i can move to other host they said we dont support back on suspended accounts. People are getting cheap and following cheap practices to do business. They should follow some business ethics. If they can activate my site after i pay them why cant they provide backp. Its just been 5 days the account suspended.
HostBig. You will soon be out of business if you continue such practices. There are many rivals providing better services then you.

My site stopped loading and they kept telling me it was their end, it was in my software. My developer checked it and said it was at my hosts end. I changed host and my site has worked perfectly ever since. They advertised a price then charged me three times that amount. A pack of thieves.
Please beware! They scammed my three websites. I paid renewal fee for the three domain but they do not renew it, there reason was they have dispute with tuscow. I sent an email to tuskow and they told me hostbig does not relay it to them. Hence, my domain was deactivated. I asked for refund but they ignore me, and same with chat support. They put me offline so many times just to avoid me. Beware! They have a new name hostfast.com
I have a digital certificate on one of my web sites hosted with BigHost. They took my money but failed to request the certificate renewal. Two months later, they had still not renewed it, causing me to lose bookings because of "Not Secure" warnings posted by browsers when visiting the booking page. Every time I try to resolve this issue, the tech team fob me off to the billing department, who just ignore my requests. I've been with HostBig for 5 years. Most prior issues have been dealt with by the tech team; however, the billing team seem to be non-existent until they want money from you. I'm very seriously thinking about moving all my sites to a new host. This may be a case of you get what you pay for.
This is the worst company I have ever dealt with avoid at all costs lost my website due to them being in dispute with a company called tucows who hold domain name I paid hostbig they did not pass the money on to tucows even though I have a receipt they still ignore my emails when wanting a refund I have had to start from scratch again with a new host

Although they advertised a price of around $1 per month for its basic plan, they have update the prices (3 times more expensive) but not the website. They've been unable to keep their promise of "guaranteed honest prices" after a year of service. It's all a lie, they are totally scam.
First they will took money and then will terminate your account, after sending 20 emails, billing team is not responding and customer support disconnects chat, don't go for hostbig, its a scams
I paid for renewal of domain, it shows paid on their website. They say I didn't pay and let my domain expire. Support gives me the runaround. My site has been down for 5 days because of this BS. STAY AWAY FROM HOSTBIG
Their billing team never replies after you pay them, and technical team keeps saying they dont have access for billing information. I have a ticket raised for domain renewal which alreayd paid but they have not replied from 2 months
They have a horrible support team. The chat always give me a runaround and the email support takes forever to help. I paid my last invoice to get my domain renewed but they took the money and didnt renewed it and keep giving me the runaround to get an authorization code to transfer to another registrar. DO NOT USE HOSTBIG!
This company is the worst, mainly in terms of servieces
Writes that chat 24*7 all department, but you wont get the teams online to chat, one department will say that another department will be online soon, but wont come mainly the billing department.
They take the money of my 4 domains and after 40 days they are not renewed, though uncounted number of tickets I have raised, sent mails, even try to call but all in vain
And chat person Stuart told approx 20 times in 40 days that "Stuart-1:56 am-Right now the team is no online soon they will come online and going to reply you"

if you dont care about services, go for this company. As soos as there is a issue, they wont reply you.
Despite having paid for a five year extension to my domain name registration and HostBig taking my money, they never actually extended my domain due to a dispute they are having with Tucows.
This is impacting all users with a Tucows registered domain that use HostBig.
I received no warning regarding this and they took my payment. At present, you have to contact Tucows and get an EPP code from them if you want this resolved. I have requested one but am still waiting - will I be waiting for weeks!?
My business website has been down for some days as a result of this and its still down.
I am incredibly angry with HostBig over this - their support regarding this has been terrible, often taking 24+ hours to respond to an email even with my site down!
So I am losing business because of their dispute, poor service and no-notice of this despite them taking payment for a domain extension they never actioned!

Hello, I lost lots of customers gradually by trusting in Hostbig. They have BIG PROBLEMS WITH TUCOWS. They have cheated customer like us and our hard earned money. I lost two domains in spite money being paid to them in advance. EXTREMELY CAREFUL AND BETTER YOU STAY AWAY FROM THEM
Have a fully paid up account with HostBig and a domain. All of a sudden none of it works! This is what they have said:
We are currently in dispute with Tucows Inc. they are the registrar of your domain, we are their reseller.
We are disappointed to advise you that at this time they have removed our ability to manage or renew your domain, for assistance in renewing or managing your domain please contact *******@tucows.com
So we are left high and dry - oh and guess what *******@tucows.com comes back with an out of office reply.
We have sent a dozen emails over the past few days to *******@hostbig.com and not a word back.
HostBig is nothing but a scam.
Hostbig is Worst... Simple stay away from them. Customer Support Service is simple DEAD...
Its simply the worst hosting site ever made... firstly when ever they feel like they reset your account without any reason when you ask them they says its happens due to system load. And then load any backup they have... Dont ever buy these hosting
Worst service... Most of our customers have black listed mail ids through hostbig. Site often is down and very poor support
First Hosbig lie about '30 money back guarantee'. They Will Never Get your money back. There servers shut off every time and thé customers service is the worst i know. Anthing is unlimited. STAY AWAY
