Many companies will charge you money to help you apply for US government grants but most people do not realize this website lists many US grants and is the official site for this. Before you go and pay money for someone to find you a grant or "free money" as they like to advertise, check out this site.
I have 5 heaters in my property, the goverment grants only allow for 3 heaters, two of which are panel heaters. The only homes that would benefit are studio flats. I applied for gas heating once, i was told i had to many rooms. It's a joke!

Tip for consumers:
The govt. Should give out the correct amont of heaters for the number of room in the property, if they want us to go Green. Don't waste your time unless you live in a bedsit.
You go from one site to the other from SBA to grant.gov once you found the grant you need and have proof they denied you and send you back to sba
I really need help, about to be homeless no money for food let alone a fee to apply. This is a griant scam to intrap low-income people. They dangle a carrot in your face then $#*! you up the ads.
I have been contacted twice by phone. Each time it was from someone who could not be understood due to a heavy foreign accent and loud background noise. Call center. Gave me names of "Inspectors" who would call me tomorrow who could not be found on the internet nor could the caller verify their identity after questioned. I was given the caller's "Government ID#" which also was not verifiable nor did it take the form of US Government ID's. A "Manager" then came on the line. I asked him to verify the credentials of the caller, the inspector and the connection with my State Government who was allegedly supplying the grant. The manager immediately hung up.
Tip for consumers:
Make sure you thoroughly understand this website is offering you a grant, allegedly approved by your state government under a published state government grant system but will not give you the information about the state agency or contact numbers so you can verify the "free money. You never have to pay it back." Says who??
