I wish to list this reminder here before you ladies and (gentlemen) start reading my review on Fashion Mia. As later in the "Tip for sharing", you will see that I wrote to remind lady shoppers that "Fashion Mia" is a totally different clothing company from "Mia Fashions".

I had not reliased that there were two online clothing companies who bore the name, "Mia", but while this one is "Fashion Mia", the other one is "Mia Fashions", I had posted my review to "Mia Fashions" on 05 April 2017 without realising my mis-understanding, and only discovered my mistake 2 days after that. I then deleted my original review and re-wrote my review in this section which displays comments on "Fashion Mia". This is why you will see that in my listed photos, some of those illustration-texts are still showing the name of "Mia Fashions". Please allow me to remind you ladies that In all of my photos, my outfits were purchased from "Fashion Mia", and not from "Mia Fashions".

I had thought that both "Fashion Mia" and "Mia Fashions" were the same company. But they are two totally different companies. Please do not get confused!

This one here is "Fashion Mia", and not "Mia Fashions"!

So, here it goes, my happy long review on "Fashion Mia"!

Last Saturday (01 Apr 2017), shortly after midday, around 12:45 PM, our local postman from Thornhill delivered a parcel to us from China. My husband and I knew it must have come from Fashion Mia, as we had been following the tracking record on the website of Fashion Mia, and knew the parcel was to arrive in Scotland soon around those few days.

That evening, we opened the parcel and brought out its items.

We were delighted to see three most beautiful mermaid-style Maxi Dresses and one black over-the-knee woollen cape.

To our eyes, those three floor-length Maxi Dresses appeared not just the usual Maxi Dresses, but in every way even more eye-catching than many a formal evening gown, if looking at them from the usual Western fashion standards.

Naturally, my husband and I could not wait to see how I might look in all of those 4 items. We therefore had a long night: while I was changing from one gown to another, taking lots of selfies in front of our long dressing-mirror, my husband was also in and out of our bedroom, taking some photos of me with his camera, giving me countless compliments and praises.

All of those three mermaid-style Maxi Dresses were so elegantly feminine and adorably sexy! I shall feel 100% confident and very proud wearing any of them into the most exquisite opera house(s) in every culture centre in Europe, such as London, Edinburgh, Vienna, Paris, Berlin, Frankfurt, Zürich, Geneva, Amsterdam, Budapest, Prague, etc. And I know I would be receiving countless compliments from many of those European elite opera goers everywhere, especially from those possessively-fashion-fussy wealthy Jewish opera lovers of all ages, as I had always done in the past many years, whenever wearing my China-made evening dresses with my glamorous make-up and matching accessories (also all China-made) in such occasions and all other colourful elegant events.

Needless to say, my husband and I were really more than happy with all of those 4 items from Fashion Mia on last Saturday (01 April 2017), like every previous parcel we had received from Mia.

Saying every previous parcel in my above sentence it sounded as though we have been customers of Fashion Mia for already quite some time.

But no, that is not the case!

My husband and I became customers of Fashion Mia only just before the Chinese New Year 2017.

Yet, I (we) have already made 3 orders from Fashion Mia's website since our very first purchase on 15 Jan 2017. Altogether, I (we) have purchased 14 items from Mia during the last less than 3 months. And like other mail order online stores from China, Fashion Mia also operates their dispatches and shipping by packing our ordered items into more than one parcel, depending on the quantities of our orders.

Therefore, to date, we have received more than just three parcels from Fashion Mia, although we have made no more than three orders so far.

And as we are not amongst those who are wild reckless shoppers but careful and frugal ones, hence the fact that our record of having already acquired 14 pieces of ladies' clothing from Fashion Mia within only less than 3 months, this would be regarded even by ourselves as quite an unusual record!

One might ask me such a question:
"What has triggered your PASSION for Fashion Mia's clothing?"

Well...

It all started from those 2 pictures of a below-knee-length hooded furry overcoat, which led to my connection with Mia.

Yet, it must have been more than one year ago, or even earlier than that, when I noticed Fashion Mia's name for the first time. That was long before those 2 photos of the above-mentioned furry overcoat truly connected me and Fashion Mia.

One day, while I was working at my laptop on some document, suddenly, my screen flashed out some images of very beautiful ladies' dresses. The logo was showing those attractive dresses coming from an online store which was called Fashion Mia. That was the first time I noticed Fashion Mia's name.

So, it probably was sometime during either late-2015, or early-2016.

By then, I had already had some experience of purchasing clothing from two or three mail order online fashion stores from China. And so, I immediately presumed that Fashion Mia probably was also an online clothing store from China, because that was also how I got to know those other 2 or 3 online Chinese clothing stores from whom I had purchased some very beautiful items previously, also starting from unexpected photos of their clothing suddenly flashing up on my laptop's screen.

In that very first occasion of noticing the name of Fashion Mia, I did not pay further attention to click those dresses' photos on my screen trying to find out more details of Mia. Nor did I click my mouse to save the web-address of Fashion Mia. I was too occupied with the important document I was working on. It was for our serious court case against the vampire criminal bank, HSBC and their US agent.

Thereafter, Mia's pictures of ladies' beautiful clothing would appear on my screen from time to time, like the above-mentioned two or three other similar mail order online stores would do, showing up on my laptop screen with their product photos - in fact, quite regularly. I did not attempt to block such show-ups, as they never made me feel intruded. In fact, those photos of dresses and ladies' items were always very attractive and fancy-able.

I did not click Fashion Mia's web-link till shortly before 2017 New Year, in the evening on 13 Dec 2016, when a photo of Mia's clothing caught my instant curiosity on my laptop screen.

As mentioned earlier, it was that longish black below-knee-length hooded furry overcoat.

The photo of that long coat appeared to my eyes a fur coat, as those Western fashionistas would call it. But the name of that long furry coat truly made me curious.

As listed above, it was named by Mia Fashions as "Hooded Slit Pocket Plain Fluffy Wrap Coat".

The modesty of such a name really caught my attention.

Besides curiosity over the name of that furry coat, my first reaction to the photo of that coat was:
"Hmmm... This coat should keep me warm in my outings in all severest winter temperatures in Scotland, especially in those wildest notorious cold windy days and nights in Edinburgh. If I go there for concerts and operas or theatres in windy stormy wild rainy nights, I shall be warm and comfortable in this long furry coat!"

I therefore clicked the web-link of Fashion Mia to view details of that long furry coat without any hesitation.

Once viewed its details, I knew this would be my ideal overcoat for ALL outings either day or night, casual or formal.

But I still did not click to purchase this coat immediately. I had to wait till my budget could allow me to make my first order from Fashion Mia, which took over a month to happen finally.

Till the day on 15 Jan 2017, when I finally placed my first order to purchase this long furry overcoat and 4 other items from Fashion Mia, I irresistibly re-visited Mia's website many many times before then, staring at the photo of this furry long coat on my screen numerous times.

Each time when I was staring at the photo of this coat, I became only more certain that this coat would be the ALL SEASON COAT for the rest of my life till I die.

Such a strong instinct for an item which I had never seen physically, especially never touched, was so intense that I had to believe in such an irresistible inner urge within myself.

After I had made my very first order on 15 Jan 2017, I was really looking forward to receiving my first 5 items from Fashion Mia.

Besides the said long furry coat, I also ordered one bright yellow floor-length figure-hugging Maxi Dress; one pink light material day dress of a vintage style; one black half-sleeve-length weighty dress also of the vintage style, with very attractive little red buttons from below the neck down to the hem, matching with a slim red belt; as well as a very elegant purple velvet dress of the vintage style.

My first order of 5 items from Fashion Mia took longer than the usual shipping time to arrive at my home in Scotland. The whole order was shipped in three dispatches. I placed my order on Sunday 15 Jan 2017 at 10:37 AM UK time. And below listed were the three dispatches' arrival dates.
1.
The first dispatch of the bright yellow Maxi Dress arrived on 10 Feb 2017.
2.
The second dispatch of 3 items arrived on 01 March 2017. The long furry coat was in this dispatch.
3.
The third dispatch of the purple velvet vintage dress arrived on 11 March 2017.

All of the three dispatches were delivered to me at my home address by the British Royal Mail service in the UK. I have no idea through which shipper that Fashion Mia shipped my orders from China to UK ports.

I am aware that for many online shoppers, especially Western shoppers, such a longer length of shipping time is not tolerable for them, as most shoppers want to receive their ordered-items as quickly as possible. But I am Chinese growing up in Taiwan during my childhood days. I understand more than well that during the Chinese New Year period, most businesses in the Chinese world and in Chinese communities worldwide would take their annual leave often much longer than their official holiday period. I therefore had the patience for the unusually-longer shipping time that Fashion Mia took to ship my first order to me in three dispatches.

Besides, I am also an experienced mail-order shopper even during the pre-internet era. I had shopped internationally via postal mail order, especially from the most fashionable US mail order lady-wear company, "Victoria's Secret", during the mid-late 1990 through to early-2000s, while my husband and I were living in London. I therefore was fully aware of how the large shipping corporate and international couriers were / are like, especially in the aspect of ruthlessly and heartlessly charging us the shoppers notorious extra extra vampire fees, such as their alleged "Duty and handling fees", plus VAT or service charges, etc., etc., etc.

Therefore, from the way Fashion Mia handled their shipping and dispatches, I quickly realised that their longer shipping time could manage to avoid the above-mentioned vampire costs on both the seller(s) and us the shoppers, and more than often on us the shoppers, if we could be a little more patient for receiving our orders.

When each item of my three orders from Fashion Mia arrived, and after I had opened those parcels and tried all items on, I was only more than happy, that every item suits me so well, and each piece of clothing makes me feel so good and so proud. Not to even mention just how truly magical and really really so beautifully divine those elegant mermaid-style evening dresses from Fashion Mia are!

Loving my very first long furry overcoat so much (in Size S), I then ordered 2 more pieces of the very same coat in size M. After having tried them, I then wished to order the coat once again for the third time, and this time, in Size L. I was hoping to have this coat in three different sizes, so that all of them could accommodate my clothes range of various sizes and different thickness, while I wear them inside the said long furry coat in my future outings. I felt that having 4 pieces of this same coat, I could feel no more worry that I could be warm and comfortable till the end of my life, living in such a cold wildly-windy Scotland.

Sadly, Fashion Mia's website is now listing this furry coat as "Out Of Stock".

Obviously, they have sold out this coat in all sizes. But I feel most happy for their good business!

Well indeed, the said long furry coat is not a fancy luxurious fur coat made of mink fur or silver-fox fur, etc. But with such a simple practical material and non-fuss style, the fur-like shine and smoothness as well as the warmth and coziness this coat gives me, I feel this long furry coat most special!

Moreover, I have been so attracted to those stylish-looking clothes wrapping bags of Fashion Mia, that I have been keeping all of them for my future possible long travels for packing my luggage. I believe they will keep my clothing clean and protected inside my suitcases. I love the feel of those bags, not only elegant and stylish, but also feels so sensually wonderful!

In this long review, I would like to share with other online shoppers 30 photos of me wearing 8 items from my three orders from Fashion Mia.

I hope my review will contribute certain insight into Fashion Mia's longer shipping time. As a Chinese, we do believe patience will finally be rewarded with happy outcome and satisfaction, as my experience from Mia has proved to myself.

Nonetheless, having written the above passages about shipping time, in fact, my latest 2 dispatches from Mia were rather prompt!
