Fragrantica

Used to think this was one of the best fragrance sites because of its open and easy going approach. Until recently when they started demanding registration if you want to view (let alone write) the reviews. No, I do not want to view them that badly. I don't need yet another login request. So long Fragrantica, it was nice knowing you.

There are some nice, helpful users and reviews there but the forums are horrible. They've become corrupted over time like a lot of forums seem to do (why is that?) Just very rude, condescending moderators.

Bad/lazy admins and religious bigots. Not a good site to use.
They also do little to not about people being cheated. People are allowed to swap perfumes there and many of them got ripped off. No action was taken as far as I can see. Beware of getting scammed.

Bad Admins - Lots of Sockpuppets - Started out nice and friendly but it has become infested with a lot of confusing processes and people wanting only to win Free Perfume. Most importantly, the website has amateur Administrators who are careless about how they speak to their members and cannot speak English well themselves so they tend to put out a lot of misconstrued postings.

The sites claims to be for English speaking people, but MOST are from Europe and have trouble understanding plain English.

Cannot recommend this site if you are a serious Perfume person as they have load of sock puppets and having multiple accounts is quite easily done.
