Beautiful piece; love the size. That is a 65inch TV in the photo. 3D effect is awesome too! Highly recommend. Only thing is DO NOT use the plastic anchors they supply. The ridges on the side of the anchors are way too smooth and just spin in the hole and end up making the hole bigger. Buy some better plastic anchors. Not too hard to hang. Took me about an hour and I did it by myself. Looks awesome!

When I first made my order i knew the item was slightly back ordered and didn't mind waiting the two months it said it would take to get back to me. Many months go by and I still hear nothing. I reached out and they said the order got lost by the postal office. I asked why no one ever sent me a tracking number or let me know my package was missing. Toscano customer service told me it wasn't their problem. I still wanted it and had them re ship it...now five months later I still do not have it. I have been waiting 10 months! I called and received the rudest, most unprofessional service. I canceled my order and will NEVER recommend ot order from them again.

So I had the misfortune of stumbling across this blathering dinosaur of a company after accidentally breaking a (glass) shade at a friends house.
What a joke. They merrily took my money (in early March) and the spammed me half to death with their "deals". I finally called (in April) and they said the item was "probably back-ordered til May 28th".
Really?
The snooty assistant also informed me she couldn't possibly look up my order without the handy dandy 15 digit order number and yet oddly greeted me by name when I came back to give it to her?
Horrendously bad company. Only use if they claim to have something you absolutely NEED at some possible date in the future. Maybe.

Just Don't.

Ordered - was told (without a tracking number) that part of order would arrive on a certain date - waited for tracking numbers (issued when product ships) and still had to contact CS for them - ended up the item had not shipped yet (one day before it was supposed to arrive) - - finally after reading these other reviews just cancelled the order. Makes me wonder how a company can stay in business run the way they are

I have bought from this site several times and was never disappointed! I bought gifts for others and they loved them! I really love this place, I highly recommend shopping here!

Do I recommend them? No.
You need to be a professional to understand what you need to do.

I wanted to fix the noise the hard floor was making, which, in my opinion, was squeaking and no other noise. When the "Technician" came and we spoke about it and agreed on things to be done, there was no mention of any different sounds – e.g "cracking."

Then- when the job was done, and I spoke to them, I found out that the squeaking was fixed as much as it can be, but there is a cracking sound as well, and nothing can be done about this…But was I not supposed to know about this before when the technician came in, and we spoke?
There was no mention that there are two different sounds, and yes… there is still much noise as you step on the hard floor.

I do regret not going with the one in Brooklyn… :(

I found what I thought would be a great Buddha statue for my garden. Per the online catalog, there was a picture of a gray one, with three sizes noted below it. I called to confirm that it was available in a smaller size. The Toscano rep confirmed, then completed the order. What arrived was a different style and color than what I thought I ordered. I called back, and was curtly informed that the smaller version was only available in a completely different style and color, and that it was my fault for being confused about the online catalog (Iet alone their rep confirming it). The refused to refund. It took me 3 calls to get them to understand that their catalog system is messed up and that the mistake was theirs and to issue a refund. Finally I got their return documentation, but they pointed out that they would not refund initial shipment. So, while they eventually issued a refund for their mistake, I was stiffed for the outbound shipment. Not happy. After 25 years of association with this company, no more. Prior merchandize was good, thus 2 start vs. one. However, I will not accept rudeness from staff. Nor did they seem interested in understanding why their bizarre catalog might confuse shoppers. Bye bye.

Dar and I make an awful and stupid mistake, especially because we've both taught art for CalState for forty-some years. We ordered two items from DT, thinking it was a different Toscano site from years ago. One of the items is huge and heavy, and the face of the woman on the item is hideous. To return any item to DT, you will have to pack it back up without even breathing on it, pay for shipping and insurance on your OWN dime, and they have to be satisfied with it. This is no way to run any sort of business and we are absolutely disgusted and are spreading the word. Be aware.

Beware of this site! It is not art; it is a scam.

Thank You to all who posted their reviews. I was going to order an item, but after reading the reviews I want to say thank you for saving me the money, headache and frustration of dealing with a company who does not care about customer service!

Order two gargoyles from them. Both up on my roof now. Both have peeling paint after less than a year. Impossible to reach without hiring someone. Toscano representative not helpful at all. Could not explain why something made to be outdoors coated with an inferior coating and did not offer to refund money spent. Picture is through an upstairs window. I am a repeat customer of theirs so I would think they would care.

ASK FOR A GUARANTEE.

I ordered this fountain. Delivery was promp and the fountain is wonderful! I have had the fountain a year now and it is still working great and looks wonderfull! Thank you for a great product.

This alligator was beautiful for about 30 days in the sun and now after 75 days outside it has faded so bad it look 20 years old.
I contacted customer service ( Katie whom was essentially worthless in considering options I presented by e mail)
Option 1 was replace it at a deeply discounted price.
# 2 send me the paint colors so I can have the paint matched. Oil base, water base?
# 3 I send it back and have them repaint it.

All of these were greeted with the response of,
It's completely out of the 60 day warranty window and there's absolutely nothing we are going to do for you and if you wanted the paint to stay nice you should have applied an acrylic based clear coat sealer over the entire alligator.
Sealing the paint is the customers responsibility!
So sorry.
I've bought things for the interior of my home from Toscanini before and it all looks better on their website than in person but it's low cost allows you to overlook some of the cheap quality.
In this case I paid a fair price and got a bad product.
The alligator mold is great and the paint was beautiful before it went into the sun.
Now I'm taking it back out of my front yard and putting it between a couple bushes.
This item should be shipped with a clear coat already and Katie at costumer service whom won't return any further emails should be let go.
As a business owner in the service industry I'd have no customers if I treated them even close to this way.

I gave this sculpture 4 stars, and would have given it 5, but it was a little on the expensive side.
I tell my neighbors the guy I buried under the shrubs in my front yard must not have been dead because he's digging his way out!
Great for Halloween.
I'm an amateur artist, and this dead guy sculpture is right up my alley!

Made my first and last order here! Sent me a crumpled in several pieces plaque. They refuse to get back with me! Emailed them several times but still no response! Terrible business! Never again!

All these reviews are spot on the negative ones. This company appears to be on their last dollar. Robbing Peter to pay Paul comes to mind! Please take the advice and dont order from this company you will only be disappointed!

Ordered three of the raven statues months ago I have never received my order they took money from my account so I wrote a review on their website I received a post card that my order had a date expected 10/29/21 and I have not received anything!

I received an alligator statue from this company last Christmas. I live in Florida and placed it outside in a screened in porch. It sat there for 6 months, and we realized a crack had appeared in its side. Nothing fell on it, no one played with it, it just had sat there. It's as if the material expanded and made the statue split. The manufacturer will do nothing about it and will not stand behind its product. It was not inexpensive, and for the money, it certainly should have lasted longer than 6 months. I will NEVER by another product from this company!

My order began with a credit card discrepancy. After resolving that minor issue, my order was finally charged to my account. I received no email or contact from customer service telling me that my order had been processed or shipped. When the order arrived, the base of the statue (a statue of the Virgin Mary) was in pieces, totally separated from the rest of the statue. The packaging seemed fine, but the statue was totally broken. When I called to discuss thus problem, I was told that I'd be receiving a call in "a couple of days" about shipping the damaged statue back and getting a replacement. I should've demanded a refund and shopped elsewhere. I will never order from designtuscano.com again.

Had a glitch when ordering and ended up getting billed and sent 3 of the same items.
Was told that I would have to pay the$17.00 per return (x2) since I only needed one of the item.
Waited on hold 12 minutes to get help. Was told I should know how to order. I do a lot of online ordering, but will NEVER shop this site again :(

Well I went outside to do some pruning and added water to birdbath. It was left outside all winter. It is severely cracked so evidently it does not do well outside. This is 7 months later. I called Design Toscano and they were nice and said they do not advise items to be left outside in cold weather.

My first experience with Toscana was very good. I got a bird bath with 3 cherubs. I even got a discount on the order by going to Retail Me Not. The bird bath was excellent quality and profoundly beautiful. It looks great in my flower garden. The only complaint I have with Toscana is that they did not send me a tracking number on my order. I even checked my spam folder and it was not there. However, I called customer service and she was able to tell me when it was going to be delivered and it was accurate. I will probably order from them again.

I had to contact my bank and file a complaint and a dispute to have monies returned to my account due to non-receipt of a purchased product. Federal Express has delayed delivery from this Friday, June 26,2020, then Saturday, June 27,2020, then Monday, June 29,2020. Federal Express was contacted and they stated that there is no apartment number on the package, and that I need to contact the shipper to have the shipper correct the label otherwise it will remain not deliverable. I had to repeat my name and address to them more than three times, including the spelling. I requested that I would pick it up. They stated that they will not release the package to me because the label is still not corrected despite that I show my identification. I contacted the shipper, Design Toscano, and repeated my name three times, including the spelling. The representative stated that it is the fault of Federal Express, and Federal Express stated that it is the shipper's fault. Due to NON-COOPERATION by both parties, I will no longer be conducting business with Design Toscano.
I will also be contacting the Better Buisiness Bureau.

My first purchases from Design Toscano I made some 20 years ago. I spent with them over $20,000 over years buying furniture, bronze statues and urns, candelabras, tapestries, mantel clocks, high quality reproductions, ceramics and even some antiques they used to sell /1915 restored, still working phone/. As the years were passing by, Design Toscano was getting worse and worse, quality wise. Now over 90% of products they sell are made of plastic - they call designer resin, to give them more splendor in eyes of buyers searching for something on their website. What used to be bronze, brass, wood, cast iron, ceramics etc. now is made of that plastic. Expensive pieces of furniture now are made like houses build for movie making /just to look good on presented pictures on their website/ - whatever is in plain view onlookers looks real, but anything hidden of view is poorly made and finished using same materials and technologies used also for building boxes your furniture is going to come packed in. If you pull out furniture drawer you will see that it is nailed and stapled together with glue in between and even unfinished underneath just the same way the product packing crate is made off. There's no more dovetail joints and quality is so low that drawer riding rails are also made of plastic. Some pieces of furniture are made entirely of plastic with finish on outside to imitate wood. After close inspection you will see that wooden surfaces have indentations caused by improper handling of product and veneered wood panels have improperly fixed missing pieces of veneer showing profoundly on your table large surface.
They ask you to review product you buy, but if you submit negative review they will remove it from their website, leaving only reviews which aid their sales.
Ten years ago I would give them 4 star grade but now I recommend keeping away from them and buying stuff in the stores where you can open that drawer, touch and inspect the product before you pay for it.

Cannot imagine such poor customer service. Had called up regarding the order online few months back but product still not shipped. Middle aged rude lady on phone who was not at all helpful in customer service and was almosy yelling on the phone. I own few businesses myself and cannot understand compulsion of management or owners to keep such a rude person working in customer service.
