“This website is full of crap”

This website is full of crap. I was charged $130. I called them twice to cancel and about 2 days after getting a confirmation number to the cancellation, they charged my debit card again. I called and all I was able to do was cuss at a stupid woman who kept making excuses. Now I have to call my bank to cancel out my debit card. They are SCAMMERS!

My story is no different than three stories by Lisa, Tracy and Keith. What a nightmare to wriggle out of this deal. I cantacted my credit card company and was stuck with some of the charges before I caught them. But I hope I have them all cancelled now if not I am thinking about cacelling out my credit card accounts due to fraud. Charges and hopefully that will stop any future charges. It is a thought that others may consider but unfortunately I have to wait up to four months before I recieve credit for my returned products which is quite rediculous. PLEEZZZZZZZZZZ warn your friends to stay away from this site.

I was reading a few reviews on sitejabber and noticed there are quite a few people getting scammed from acai/colon cleanse products combined with a fake news website. I found this one that links to yet another colon cleanse product http://www.acaiberrydietnews.com/ I am beginning to think all of these site are run by a single person. The fake news is pretty convincing. Even on this site they have a quote by Dr. Phil and then say in small letters that Dr. Phil doesn't endorse this product.

This website is cleverly designed to rip off the consumer. They are doing business with or as TRI SLIM USA and FIT FACTORY. I am angry with websites such as Rachel Ray and People/CNN who are sponsoring their bogus ads. I came upon a header that said, ACAI BERRY DIET/SECRETS REVEALED. The link went to an article in HEALTH JOURNAL from a CHANNEL 4 NEWS health correspondent who has tried the Acai Berry Diet, first hand, and gives a glowing review of personal weight loss and health benefits received. Then she raves about the reputability of the company, saying," they are so sure of their product they will give you a FREE TRIAL OFFER, and money back guarantee on products purchased". Of course this leads to the "I Accept My Free Trial" link. I fell for it, and it wasn't until I gave my CC#, that I realized the fine print... and I mean 'fine print'. Not only are you then signed up for all sorts of things that you had no idea you asked for, but the entire ad is FAKE... no real news correspondent, no real news station! You have a $19.95 per month membership to FIT FACTORY? And find that you will be billed $88.55 at the end of the trial? And $88.55 a month, thereafter, unless you cancel product membership. I called to cancel, immediately, and though it took several calls and a whole lot of aggravation, I was like a dog to a bone, until I got a cancellation email from the company relinquishing any obligations to the company. So far, I have only been billed $2.95 for shipping the bottle of trial pills. I have been reading hundreds of horror stories from others who have not been so lucky, and are paying off hefty bogus fees on the credit cards. I am trying to determine what can be done to eradicate this kind of unethical business practice. Other websites are, knowingly, pimping themselves out by sponsoring fabricated advertisements with deceptive practices like Colo Cure USA. Buyer beware... if you see any of these buzz words - STAY AWAY.

I, like hundreds of others, fell for the ColoCure free trial and subsequently got billed for $88.55 and $87.77 plus an on-line FitFactory "membership" for $19.95.

I called the number listed on the credit card charge entry and got a foreign accented female voice on a noisy/scratchy line. I could not communicate and hung up in frustration. I then called Chase (the card issuer) and disputed the charges. They recommended I call back to get an address to return the product which will give them a better chance of getting the charges removed.

I then called the number listed under "HubHealthy" on my bank statement which is the "FitFactory" and after literally screaming at the accented female on the scratchy line and hanging up, she called me back and with a magically better sounding connection, with better volume, she agreed to cancel my "membership" and reverse the charge with a conf. #.

Then, after some more research on the web with fellow scam victims, I called *******869 which was recommended as "The Number" to call. Sure enough, just like other victims had said, this accented woman offered no help on a refund of the charges until I pressed very hard and clearly about wanting a FULL refund; not half, not 90% but FULL refund with a threat to call back with my bank's fraud department on the line with me. This conversation was firm, at all times polite, but very firm about my requirements after reading all of the other stories. I got confirmation numbers (for whatever they are worth) and an address to return the product to: Beach Ready LLC, PO Box 3540 Silver Springs, NV *******.

I then called Chase back and asked for the Fraud Dept. who promptly cancelled my credit card (to prevent any further charges) and issued a new one, with assurances I will not have to pay any of these disputed charges.
I will be getting paperwork from Chase to fill out and I will then encourage them to either cancel Beach Ready's merchant number or at least notify any cardholders of charges pending so they can deny them prior to posting.

I hope this helps fellow scam victims and I will continue to try to stop these scum bags by notifying the NY AG's office and the BBB.

THIEVES! RIPOFFS! MONEY HUNGRY JERKS THAT PREY ON TRUSTING PEOPLE! This was my first and last time to respond to a "free 30 day trial to any ad regardless of who they state endorses it. On 9/8/09 I responded to thier offer for $2.95 s/h charges only. I then received membership notices from dealmax and fitfactory. I cancelled both and got confirmation codes from them over the phone with promises that they would not draft my debit card. A few days later I received the colocure product and another product that I did not ask for called trim slim. I mistakingly did not question the additional trim slim product and considred it to be a bonus trial as well. On 10/9/09 I received another package containing the same 2 products that I did not request more of. I contacted the colocure co. To cancel my membership and to advise them that I would be returning the recent shipment due to the fact that it did not work and that I did not request the trim slim with the "free 30 day colo cure. They told me I would have to contact trim slim to cancel my membership with them because they were seperate companies. I then contacted trim slim and cancelled my membership and advised them also that I would be returning thier unrequested product. I was confused as to how they could state that they were seperate when I had received both products on both occassions in the same package with no invoices. The return address on the package was "beach ready llc" which confused me even more since I had not seen thier name on the ad. They both gave me the run-around about returning the products but finally agreed to it stating that I would be charged a re-stocking fee of $13.29 and $13.17. I thought it was over and considered myself getting off cheaper than expected. I received my bank statement shortly afterwards and bursted into tears when I saw all the drafts from 4 companies. I was charged $87.77 on 9/21/09 for the trim slim that I did not request and $88.55 for the colocure that was supposed to be the "free trial". I phoned them only to learn that it was only free for 14 days and since I did not cancel before the 14 days was up that I was automatically charged. I was also charged the same amount on 10/5/09 for both products that I received on 10/9/09. The other 2 companies that colo cure had automatically enrolled me in were "shoppingclubstore.com" and "dinnerdiscount-3.com". They had both drafted my bank account for $2.48 each on 9/8/08 and $19.82 on 9/30/09. I then had to phone these companies to cancel the memberships with them after haggaling with them. I am totally exausted and embarrased by this money making scam and I want to let everyone out there know what low-lives these people are and to please not allow them to also become victims. If anyone has any information on any internet fraud busineses that could help me take action, I would greatly appreciate it. These people have to be stopped!
