We buy our sons homeschooling books here they are significantly cheaper than they are any where else. And if you do it right you can get free shipping

“I don't know what happened”

I don't know what happened to them. They had good sales but now they boosted up all of their prices. Supposedly they are still at a discounted price, but I'm not so sure anymore. Especially their shipping prices are ridiculous. So, for example, a bible called Spirit Led Woman Bible MEV was on sale last year for $8.99 now it's $14.99. And their Imperfectly Imprinted Bibles are ridiculously highly priced. If they made a mistake on the cover, then it should go down significantly. They just knocked maybe a couple of dollars. That's not right or fair. Their return policies are also ludicrous. They want you to pay for shipping. I used to like them, but now I don't think I will ever order from here again.

Tip for consumers:
I put no free shipping but sometimes they do give free shipping if what you order amounts to $35 or more.

I THINK THEY HAVE THE FAIREST PRICES FOR NEW CHRISTIAN BOOKS ONLINE. DO NOT CARE FOR THEIR SHIPPING FEES, BUT FOR WHAT YOU'RE GETTING I SUPPOSE IT'S FAIR.

I'D PREFER THEY ADD A $1.00 TO EACH ITEM THEY SELL AND THEN OFFER FREE SHIPPING. PSYCHOLOGICALLY THE SHIPPING WOULD NOT BE FELT BY THEIR CUSTOMERS. HOWEVER, WHEN I GO TO BUY A SINGLE PAPERBACK AND HAVE TO PAY $3.95 IN S & H I FEEL IT.

THEY SHOULD SERIOUSLY CONSIDER DOING SOME PSYCHOLOGICAL MARKET RESEARCH ON THIS PHENOMENA. IF I'M ONLY GOING TO BUY ONE OR TWO LITTLE PAPER BACKS I NOW SHOP FOR USED BOOKS ONLINE.

According to FedEx's website, the package I ordered was supposed to be out for delivery today, but there hasn't been any movement on it since 11/17 when it arrived in WV. The FedEx rep said I'd have to contact Christianbooks.com to get them to initiate filing a lost claim because they don't allow the customers to do it. Called Christianbooks.com and was told that they won't file a lost claim until after 11/25 because it could still be delivered by 11/25 even though FedEx themselves say it's lost and they have no idea where it is. I have to wait an additional week before filing a claim, which is ridiculous! I will NEVER order from Christianbooks.com again and definitely DO NOT recommend anyone else order from them.

Paid additional fee to imprint 3 initials in Script font. The last initial is in a different font and the error is obvious. Customer service explains "that is what the Script style looks like" for the one letter they have. (No. Goudy Oldstyle font looks nothing like Script.) By the way, I previously ordered the same product with imprint and all was correct. I cannot imagine what has changed apart from quality control. To be fair, customer service offered a different imprint job that is not suitable for the purpose. Apparently I lose the money. I would order basic items from christianbook.com but suggest using a local outlet for imprinting to ensure you get what you pay for, especially for gifts.
