“Cashforiphones is an aggregate extortion!”

Cashforiphones is a website that is operated with a well planned trick. They cited me $250 for my iPhone 5. After that, they paid me just $95.00. When I called their"Client Service" to inquire about the change of amounts, they guaranteed that it has been sent through email and i may find it in my spam folder. Then they put my call on hold for around 25 minutes and the call got disconnected. I am really irritated with their customer service facility!

Cashforiphones is the website that is good in quoting high prices and at the end, leaving its customers with maybe 40% (if you're lucky) of the actual quoted amount. Their customer service is bad! If you do end up dealing with them, do not expect to get someone to help you right away. You have to claim your spot by first going through their very long hold time, then getting transferred between departments and finally getting hung up on.
If you find yourself in such a situation, just know that it will not be pleasant.

I have been harassed by the customer care person at cashforiphones. I will literally use the word “harassed”. I called them no less than 50 times, and in an unsuccessful attempt at speaking with their manager, ended up staying on hold for a number of hours at a time. Even then, I was not able to get the exact refund, but only half of the quoted price. The service is pretty lame! It does not make any sense at all! It is by far the worst service I have ever experienced in my life is through cashforiphones.

Stay away from this place. It is the worst place you could possibly send your phone to. It took them two weeks to even send me an email. Then they offered me 29.00 for my iphone 6 that is totally fine and had nothing wrong with it. DO NOT GO HERE

Cashforiphones simply switches their proposals on you. Try not to be tricked by the value they cite on their website. They cited me over $180 for my used laptop on their Cashforiphones and after waiting for quite a while for an answer, they sent me a quote offering $82. I called their helpline to get the matter resolved, but they were very slow and always put my calls on hold for hours at a time. I feel trapped because I can't do anything about this right now!

I was guaranteed $190 at the time I sent my Samsung Galaxy Phone to them. I was later advised that I would get a check for $86. An aggregate trick! I will not recommend using the services of Cashforiphones to anyone. They do not reply to the calls and messages unless you have wasted hours trying to get a hold of them. If you have to get in touch with them, plan on spending at least 30 minutes of your life staying on hold with them. I am very disappointed with the services they offered me.

I was quoted $310 by cashforiphones for iPhone4 in an absolutely pristine condition. After 4 weeks, their so called inspection revealed "broken glass" in the back, as well as the front, due to which they offered me $100. I called and asked them to return it and got the same spiel as Dalton, eventually settling for $180. I am not sure if an hour of waiting time on the phone, trying to get to speak with someone was actually worth the extra $80 or not. So much wasted time, and so much frustration. I wouldn't want anyone to go through the hell that I did.

I sent Cashforiphones an immaculate Samsung Galaxy S4 with the promise of getting about $160.00. Finally, they sent me a check for $73.00, which I never cashed, for obvious reasons. I tried to get them to return my phone, but all I got was an answering machine if I was lucky enough to survive their hour-long hold time. I never got an opportunity to talk to someone! Please stay away from these people.

Got a $150.00 quote for my HTC Phone. I was later informed that they will give me only $115 for it. Now, I can't even get in touch with anyone at cashforiphones to ask for my phone back. They are scammers and totally bogus. I don't know what they have done with my phone and am trying me best to get it back, or at least the money for it! Hoping that no one would ever fall prey to these scammers.

This company is full of crap! I wish I had read the surveys BEFORE I sent in my iPhone 5. Cashforiphones cited me a much higher cost, and afterward sent $70 dollars. If this has happened to you, I want you to realize that it will take you a very long time to get to them. By that, I mean a VERY long time! I stayed on hold for an HOUR to talk to the customer service. Even then, they managed to not give me my phone back! I feel so let down!

I had a quote of $147 for my iphone5c that had a software problem. No scratches no dents it just glitched and stopped working. After sending in the phone 5 months passed by without word of the check. I called/emailed numerous times each time they told me that they already sent it. I wasn't expecting much for the iphone and read that they give you less than quoted but when I finally recieved the check 6 months later it was for $10. I told them I wanted my phone back and they said they didn't know where it was. If you're looking for a reliable site that doesn't lie to you look elsewhere.

When I evaluated my old laptop on their website, it was worth $120. According to cashforiphones, even if the laptop does not work, it can still claim worth of $90.
My laptop worked without any problem. After they received my laptop, they only paid me $70 in total for it! Do not trust cashforiphones they will not respond to your emails. They will take your device, offer you an amount well below what it is worth, and not give you a chance to have it returned. Horribly bad customer service!
I will never sell my old devices to cashforiphones

Don't ever use cashforiphone for selling your iphone or any apple products. Like many others, I was quoted a price of $200 for my iphone 4s 64 GB, only to be sent a check of $100 in the mail. My phone was in a pretty good condition. I’m not sure what happened! Using www.cashforiphones.com will merely waste your time which is not worth to be wasted on this particular website!

I sent my device to www.cashforiphones.com. After few days, I received an email saying it was being inspected to determine its final value. I received a PayPal notice after some days that they have sent me $61, which was 50% of the original quote that the cited earlier. I tried reaching them through customer care service. It takes too long just to get to them. Once you get a hold of their customer service, the experts give you 10 reasons why you are being paid low. I wish I had sold it elsewhere. I am helpless and disturbed now.

The website, Cashforiphones buys used electronic devices. Once you enter information about your device, they will give you an immediate "quote." It seems quite impressive, when you send the device to them, they inspect it and then significantly reduce the quote (over 50%) and try to persuade you to accept the price. I was quoted a price of $200 for my HTC phone. After that, I was sent a check of $112 in the mail. My phone was in a very good condition. Do not use this site.

Cashforiphones uses smart tricks to get you to send them your device and then hides behind the fine print in the terms and agreement to make a fool of you. I was given an estimate on my Iphone 5 of $200.00. After sending in the device, they claimed that my device was only worth $135.00! I quickly requested my phone be sent back to me. I had seen similar phones selling for $175.00 - $200.00 on eBay. They refused to send back my phone and only after complaining for 20 minutes did they increase the amount to $150.00. Very discontented and will never use cashforiphones again. It wasted my time.

My Goodness! Cashforiphones works so terribly. I sent in my HTC phone which was only about 3 months old if that. It had no breaks on the screen and worked perfectly fine. The cited amount was 300 dollars. I was sent a check for 180 dollars. I expected that the check to be for about 250 at least! This was something beyond my imagination. Very Disappointed!

The quote you receive prior to sending your phone is just a bait. Once they have your phone in their possession, there is a never ending line of reasons why they can't pay you what they initially offered. Stay away from cashforiphones, it is nothing, but trouble. The delaying tactics rely heavily upon the fact that you will try to call them as soon as you realize that you just have three days to reject their offer. When you do end up calling them, they put you on hold for over 45 minutes, transfer you through different departments and then eventually tell you that they can't help you. Just save yourself from all this trouble and don't send you device in.

I, like almost everyone else, was scammed by cashforiphones. They quoted me $180 for my HTC device. Immediately after sending in my device, I received an email saying that following an inspection, they would now give me $95 for it. After emailing my rejection notice and asking for the phone to be returned, I did not receive an email until almost 3 days later. They informed me then, that I needed to call in to either accept or reject the offer of $95. Of course I called in and sat through the long holding time in order to talk to someone in the purchasing department. This woman informed me that my device had already been recycled and went through a huge list of things that were "wrong" with my HTC device that made the value drop by almost 50%. How absolutely absurd! I am still shocked at this deceiving service and bad "customer service." I am kicking myself for not reading the reviews before sending in my device as now it is apparently "too late."

Cashforiphones dropped their offer considerably for 2 Samsung phones that I recently sent to them. They told me that the decrease in value was due to excessive wear and scratches. This was shocking to me since the 2 phones that were sent to them were only 8 months old!
Both the phones had screen covers on them from day one. I even called them and it took over an hour to get to talk to them. I asked them to return my phones, but they refused to do that. I was supposed to get $280 for both phones, but ended up getting only $180. I'm really disappointed with their service. Try to avoid them. This company misleads people.

I wanted to sell my Iphone 6 to Cashforiphones, and the quote I received was $403. After mailing in my device, I got an email saying 'your device was appraised to be $150, according to the market value! I called the customer service and was put on hold 5 times, to a total of 2 hours of my life that I will never get back! Then, I finally talked to an agent, and she said my phone had a medium scratch on the screen and medium wear on the home button, but the $150 value was too low and she'd like to offer me $199. But, my phone was literally brand new, I just don't understand how they can simply refuse to mail my device back. I am very frustrated and deeply disturbed by how this company runs their business.! Seriously bad company stay away!

Cashforiphones.com gave me an online quote of $203 for two iPhone 4S phones I very accurately described for them. They sent a box and I mailed the two phones to them as directed. A week later I received an email saying their technicians decided they would pay $21 total for the two phones and a check was in the mail. I called and asked them to cancel the check and return my phones because I had higher local offers. They would not.
I believe they are running a scam by offering high quotes and sending a much lower check before anyone can stop them. I highly recommend no one use this cash for electronic website.

The business performance of Cashforiphones is low and their process is nothing more than a key to make trick people. Don't be fooled and allured by the price they quote. They quoted me over $322 for two iPhones (different models) on their website - Cashforiphones.com. Subsequent to transporting both of them in, and waiting for a long time for an answer, they finally sent me a quote offering $89 for one device and $69 for the other. The customer executive I spoke to in their purchasing division was not customer friendly at all. The lady was argumentative and hung up on me before I could even say anything. I was just told that my phones did not work well, which was not true. So, watch out before you deal with them!
