BuckWhackers

We leased some timber company land in Waverly ohio though Buchwackers. Com. Our group was tired of hunting State land and setting on shooting a 110-120 inch bucks every other year. We set out to the lease property of 2002 acres with high hopes. The property was rugged and very hilly. Three guys a total of 9 days of hunting including the first day of the Ohio gun season and we saw a total 9 deer between the three of us. I've personally have seen more than 9 in one day on state land. We came to the conclusion that this area is a waste land that has very low deer numbers. Any buck sign was surely all made at night. There is very little hunting pressure in the area and made it very confusing why the deer there are so nocturnal. We came to the conclusion that the locals are possibly shooting deer all year long which may contribute to the nocturnal instincts. In conclusion, we will be heading back to state game areas next year. Budget hunting just leads you to disappointing hunting. At least with state ground you know what to expect. Sorry Buchwackers your property sucks and im sure all your successful hunters have better leases than the ones offered to us and we just paid for them. Your welcome.
