We moved into new build home with no window coverings, so I was on the search for window treatments for most the windows in my home. I searched/got estimates from both local and online businesses. I stumbled across a blog that mentioned they used Blindster for their window coverings and it was stated that she was pleased with this company and that they had great prices. I did a bit of my own research and eventually decided to give this company a try. The first room I ordered for was our master bedroom. I ordered Roman blinds. I was very pleased with the amount of options and fabrics they had to choose from and their prices were very reasonable. I pulled the trigger and order 4 blackout Roman shades which I am pleased with. Since then I have ordered window coverings for my entire house, a combination of Roman and solar shades. The quality is great, even compared to local window treatment companies who are much more pricey. What truly sets this company apart is their customer service, it's top notch and I truly appreciate this! They are prompt, helpful and deliver on their promises. I am now a loyal customer and tell all my friends and family about them. During my process to obtain window treatments there were a few delays and a broken shade but Blindster makes it right for their customers. I'm thrilled I found them! Thank you Blindster for your products and commitment to quality customer service.
Ordered 5 solar shades. Website says: "One 30* operating pole is sent with every cordless shades order to help reach shades in taller windows". Expected 5 operating poles since windows are tall, located in different rooms, and my wife is petite. I received one pole for all 5 shades. They want to charge me $25 to send me rods the website says come with the shades. They say the website says they will send only one pole per order. I disagree. And no where does it give you the option to order more for each window. So instead of taking care of a customer who just spent $2200 and then correcting their website, they told me they wouldn't send them unless I paid extra. I told them I won't be a returning customer and I would let everyone know why. On their website you'll find the following statement from Kyle Cox the Founder and CEO: "Time and time again companies start out with an emphasis on customer service only to lose sight down the road, forgetting that happy customers are the reason for their success. First, the motorized shades are great, seem well built and work well. The downside is that Blindster has no way to automate them! No app, no third party product... nothing. This is so 1990!. Ok, so without automation, these seem nice, but dated. Can we have some app that can be integrated with Google Home or Alexa?

Ordered 2 blinds on January 4th t is now January 16th and they haven't shipped. I was told they haven't cleared customs. Never realized they were being imported from Mexico. I hope that when they finally show up they are satisfactory
I ordered four blinds from Blindster. They were permanently wrinkled and uneven. Very ugly. Blindster's response was ridiculous.

Poor quality blinds overall. Lots of breakage issues:
- blinds are very heavy and won't go up without supporting with one hand (action itself is terrible and often won't stay in place)
- which results in the thin end caps bending and breaking constantly
- adjusters break and strip on a regular basis
On top of all that, their customer support page tells you to contact them for parts, but after a week they respond that they don't even have parts available and send you to a 3rd party site that does not list ANYTHING for "Blindster".

Perfect blinds! My husband was able to install the blinds quickly and easily with the supplies included and a drill. I love the color and they work exactly as I was hoping. I highly recommend Blindster and will buy from them again for my bedrooms.

We ordered cellular blinds for a large home in the year 2015. Now, in 2021, we ordered cellular blinds for a small home. We did not know the material had changed so much that they made the 2021 blinds with. We measured too short, this time, because this material is entirely different. Unfortunately, they do not make the blinds with the material they had in 2015. Patricia is a wonderful lady who will help you all the way to rectify your issues. She is pleasant to work with and does not play games. If you order, ask for her. She is the reason I am giving Blindster 4 stars. Otherwise, when you call Blindster, you never get a real person on the phone and when they who call back are not warm or friendly like Patricia. One kept repeating that she is there to help me and took too many calls to rectify issues. I do not know if Blindster has changed hands since 2015, but they are extremely lucky to have Patricia.
I like the blinds but one of my rolls began to lose its spring. I talked to customer service and they got me all the info I needed to make them with better again. Happy with my experience.
I ordered three faux-wood blinds. One worked perfectly. The other two blinds would not close tightly. You turned in one direction, and then it was like the ratchet mechanism would just run out of "gears" to run... there was a clicking noise. It ended up that I was able to got it working by sliding the hexagon tilt rod completely out of the string units and then rearranged the mechanism so that it had more ratchet room to use, to get the tilt completely shut.
Ordered 5 blinds of same dimensions for apartment remodel. Four came in proper and came in 1 inch wider. Blindster mistake. Called and was told to send picture with tape measure to prove my claim. Emailed picture back. No response. Called and asked for number to text picture to. Number would not allow me to forward picture. Called to order replacement to complete project and was told company had info and was reviewing. Bottom line, no response to problem and out $64 extra dollars.

There adds say if you order wrong they will new blind no charge. They blind wrong and did make good on their word.

After installing the blinds I found that the construction and operating devise wasn't the quality I expected. The blinds I removed had a better mechanism to move and open the blinds. I feel the clips that hold the panels in place are of low quality. I haven't had any issues to this point. I bought the extended warranty and I feel that I will need to use it over the time period
Maybe it's just me, but my experience with Blindster has been fantastic. I gotta admit, i was a little concerned spending as much as we did, knowing that Blindster policy was to only replace one set of shutters if the measurements weren't correct.
I sent in the original measurements and had some communication with customer service making a minor adjustment (which still was a bit concerning).
The shutters arrived EARLIER than anticipated via FedEx. Upon opening all boxes during installation, all parts and hardware were included. The online installation Youtube videos were helpful, though the hardcopy with the shipment was adequate. Received all frames and shutters in perfect condition.
Installation went flawlessly, other than my own mistake on one where I installed the frame upside down which fortunately turned out perfectly. Install was super easy. Had my 16 and 17 year old daughters wanted to, I would've let them do it... that's how easy it is.

I had some problems with my order. If your measurements end on a half, like 26.5" Customers should be advised to round up instead of down. The company cuts a 1/2" off of whatever measurements you provide. I would have preferred to have my inside cut blinds to be a little wider, but they will work ok. Customer service worked with me to provide mitred valances to help cover the exposed metal tops. Thanks again!

The blinds came in the time period promised. The size was incorrect. I'm confident our measurements were correct. I say this for the reason, I along with an interior designer followed the EXACT steps Blindster.com gave. Because of the concern, (which came to be true) we didn't share the measurements before each of us individually completed. When we compared, the measurements were exactly the same. To avoid the return ($30 shipping) process, we simply acceptable the incorrect blinds. Customers coming into the office will probably not notice the gap, we will. We'll pay more this next month with our home wood blinds. Thanks.

Just like the title says. Blinds are good. Instructions don't match the hardware I received but it's not hard to figure out.
Samples arrived very quickly. Ordered the blinds a week or so later. They arrived on the day that they said. Opened the box to see that they were packaged very carefully and wrapped in plastic. I had all 3 blinds installed in less than an hour. They are light and open and close very easily. Other blinds that I purchased from other companies were very heavy and when i pulled on the cord it seemed like I was going to pull it off the window they were so heavy. The people I dealt with were very nice, and to get 7 shades for less than $1,000 is amazing. Upon receiving the solar roller shades, my husband and I had to remove the stop ball and feed the end of the shade through the cassette valance in order for the shade to be rolled up far enough. The color is a perfect match to our window casings and the shades look nice, but we were not able to just unpack them and install.
Overall customer service is 4.5. James is an excellent example of quality customer service. ( Thank you James) Despite a few issues which were timely resolved, we are satisfied with the savings, ease of installation & product quality of shutters. We strongly recommend ordering the BLINDSTER shutters based upon our experience. The price is right.
The blinds I ordered for a double wide window came with just the blinds, there is no way to raise them or lower them. This was a lot of money for junk.
Great experience in ordering. Receiving and installing these great blinds. Nice magnetic and expensive custom look valance. So very easy to update your windows with the wide 2 1/2" blinds. Very pleased indeed!
Got our blinds and installed them with a little difficulty because the instructions were rather vague, not specific at all. Since my son is very handy, we figured it out logically. They work nicely, but received some Velcro looking pieces that we aren't sure what they're for- no mention in the instructions. May be for hold downs on windy days? Production took longer than expected in making them, so it took a couple weeks longer than anticipated.
