About a year and half ago I was told buy my insurance company that they no longer carried the meds I needed in there formalary index. I became quite upset because I was with a pharmacy that I really liked. Since my meds are mail order I wanted to stay with the company I was with. Well I guess everything happens for a reason. I had to change insurance companies and wound up using a new pharmacy called Bioscrip. I have never been happier with any pharmacy, and trust me I have used many. This pharmacy has the nicest pharmacy technicians I have ever worked with. They are very small but very efficient. The store manager and staff helped me so much with allowing me to make payments on co-pays until I could pay them off. They where so understanding. Last year I came down with a terrible cold that cause me to become very congested and in need of a nebulizer. I went to Bioscrip and was on the phone with my insurance company asking them if the would cover the machine I needed. They where so rude and the rep was telling me that I would need to pay out of pocket for the machine. She advised me it was over $100.00 for the cheapest one. She was giving me a list of places to call and try and get one. I tried to explain to her that I could not afford this at the time because I have so many other things I need to pay for. She could have cared a less. I became upset and was crying because I was so sick with a fever and did not even want to be out of the house. Then the manager told me to just let the call go. He told me not to be upset and that I did not need to worry about how I would get the nebulizer machine that he would provide one for me free of charge. You know there is no pharmacy going to do this no matter what. I was so thankful to Bioscrip for there love and concern for my health. I know they made an exception for me, but they cared more about me getting better than making money. I also don't have to call in my monthly prescriptions. They call me when they are ready to ship them. How nice is that? They have even gone as far as to call my doctor for me to get refills and then called me back and let me know when Fed Ex was coming. I want to publicly give them a verbal accommodation for there excellent pharmacy performance and wonderful caring ways. They treat each person as individuals not just a number. They care about there patients not just selling medicine. I hope anyone who needs a great pharmacy for anything that they try Bioscrip. I give them five stars above all other pharmacies I have ever used. They are down to earth and just a great team of people. To Bioscrip thanks for all of your help. www.bioscrip.com

It is now December and I just got a bill for claims dated March through June. That's nine months without a bill. Option Non_Care & Bio Scrip customers average a 1.5 rating out of a 5. Disgraceful I can't find another pharmacy that can serves my condition. They need some serious competition! BTW There is no way to register my insurance company with them...

Dealing with Bio Script Coordinator was. Rude Unprofessional example of how patients are condescended disregarded and blame shifted rather than allow a person to speak it is met with uncontrolled anger. Her name is ( J) and if she cannot respect clients she should not be there.

All customer services go through India; they charge you for items you don't have. When you speak to someone in INDIA, they say they will amend the bill, and then you get another bill in again with more added to it. They charged us for a Pump we never even had. This went on for months and months. We made 12 calls to them. We are still being billed for items we do not receive and now it's going against our credit. I advise anyone to stay away from this company. I wish I had read reviews before I went with this company.

This pharmacy screwed up a delivery for me and I got upset. Yes I yelled and I did swear but where do the staff at Bioscript get off telling everyone their side of the story and no one wants to listen to mine? Is this professional behavior to talk about patients behind their backs? Even my Bioadvance rep takes their side and is now treating me like something you would scrape off the bottom of their shoe.

How is this justified or even considered professional? If you don't want patients upset, please do your job right in the first place so these situations don't happen.

I bought by sleep apnea machine and supplies from BioScrip and regret my decision (2 years ago). Poorly trained staff in billing department and customer service departments. Too frustrating for words and not worth my time when there are other companies who provide same service.

This company has horrible service. In one instance delivered the incorrect medication to me. Had I used it there could have been serious problems. I caught it and questioned them. They admitted it was wrong and told me to destroy it. I did not and still have it.
I was given a quote of $1400 for the whole process. Once done I received a bill for a little over $11,000. I called billing but, you guessed it I got someone in India that could barely speak English. When I asked to speak to someone in America they put me on hold and never came back happened the second time I called. I have left messages with their billing group in the US but no response.

Doctors ordered Cpap treatment in April 2019. Now it's July 2019, they still haven't send me the machine. Called my insurance, was told it was approved. Called to Bioscrip, was told still waiting for insurance approval. Nothing they can do on their part,

This company is so screwed up, my daughter's monthly medication is to be mailed to our home every 30 days. Her last dose was November 25, it is now January 6th and we have yet to receive it. The 30% dedictible we pay was paid and scheduled for delivery. The next day rolls around, and no medication. I call the following day and they say "oh there was some miscommunication and we read it wrong, we didn't see that you had paid the 30% so therefore it was not shipped out for delivery" so I suggest anyone to look elsewhere for their needs. This company is completely incompetent.

Summary: their call center is impossible to do business with. If you can finally get through and talk to a competent rep, everything goes fine after that.

I had service (provision of PEG tube fee and supplies) from Option Care, and they were great. Then they merged with BioScrip, and it was a complete pain -- and unfortunately it is getting worse, not better. Long voice menu when I call (the old Option Care menu was short and quick). Then there is a long and indeterminate wait for a server; I have left it on hold for over an hour and didn't get served. The periodic and inaccurate announcement, "Your call is important to us," never has an estimate of how long it will take or where you are in the queue. A few times, I asked for the call-me-back queue, and nobody ever called back. It took three days of trying before I finally got a real person to deal with my problem -- and it was just a routine reorder. I'd sign up for email reorder, but I could not find anywhere on their web site to do so.

Tip for consumers:
They're fine if you can actually contact them to place the order. But they make it harder than any other company I have ever dealt with.
