“Lightening fast service in response to my requests!”

I requested my personal information be made confidential for 3 properties, and it was handled in less than 4 hours! This is highly unusual for an internet firm. I am very impressed -- and you have to be pretty damn good to impress me these days! Kudos to a business who does something right -- right on time, and for the right reasons!

Everything is up for sale on the internet. I am a state worker and the State posts my name and income on the internet for all to see. Hard to blame a small co like this for doing the same with other public info. But at least they did blur out my name as requested. More than I can say for the State.

I work in a prison and was horrified to find my name and address listed by these $#*!s.
When I bought a house, I did not consent in any way to have my name and address listed on the Internet. These people should be ashamed of themselves doing this for who knows what gain. Putting people's lives in jeopardy.

I am no way a fan of privacy breach sites which are all over the Internet. Citizens need to mobilize and raise hell with their legislators until there are decent privacy protection laws in every US state. The Facebook type defense of their shameful greed, asking "What do you have to hide" is pure mind-control propaganda created to increase this disgusting trend.

Companies like Arivify that have any ethics or morality at all will include a quick, easy efficient and FREE process to enable ANY person who objects to having their privacy destroyed to BLOCK OUT their name being included.

Arivify has that system and it does what they promise. GOOD for them for at least doing that.

Tip for consumers:
IF you do not want your privacy violated, use the FREE and EASY and QUICK "BLOCK YOUR NAME" feature found on their site. It works and all smart people should use it.

This website collects your real estate property information from public data, put on the internet for everyone to look up for personal information. If you want to remove your own information from their website, you need to pay $39.99! What a thief - steal your information and then sell it back to you!

I hate this company and their pathetic little whiny 4yr old boy voice of "it's not illegal" boo hoo hoo. Just because it is unethical and morally bankrupt doesn't appear to phase these narcissistic psychopaths. Unfortunately because they are totally worthless it is hard to fight this site. What you can do though is:

Complain (often!) to the FTC (you can do this anonymously): https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/Company#crnt

And to your rep/senator
A) Tell them to vote for The Data Broker Accountability and Transparency Act (or a new variation of this bill)
B) Send them this report: https://www.ftc.gov/system/files/documents/reports/data-brokers-call-transparency-accountability-report-federal-trade-commission-may-2014/*******databrokerreport.pdf
Apparently most reps can't read so you might want to put in a short synopsis. (http://www.regblog.org/2014/06/19/19-slater-costs-and-benefits-of-data-brokers/)
This is harder to do anonymously however, in most cases you can use the office address and phone of the rep/senator. Go to their web site and copy it then use the link to complain. I personally find it fantastic that they then spam themselves.

- With enough complaints maybe we can finally get the gov't to crack down and make sharing info like this illegal!

Spread the word. If every single person complained, then maybe we can put these companies out of business for good!
