When i had a trip to Egypt, I worked with this website. Basically it's all in one solution because here you can book a flight, book a hotel or place for kinda private stay, plus they are generous enouhg to give some atteactive coupons. Other than that, here you can even buy tickets for ferry, trains, airport transfers and rent a car. That is the reason why I consider it as a platform packed up with all necessary things for having pleasant voyage.

Agoda charged me more than 7% on top of my room for exchange rate. However, exchange rate from AED to USD never vary this much and other sites like booking.com never add any extras.

I now realize that this platform is an untrustworthy one from which I will never consider purchasing any sort of my travel needs. Absolutely stay away!
Used agoda to book a room in Oakland CA for 2 days. When I arrived the hotel had no reservation. They searched it several different ways but I got nowhere. I tried the agoda online chat system but they don't seem to allow you tell them what the issue is only select boxes which don't apply to your issue. I called customer support 866 number but the call disconnected with them on their end. I will NOT be using this service again. The prices may be a few dollars lower but if you end up with no room and no recourse it's all pretty useless.

We had booked hotel from Agoda,we reached the hotel to find out our booking was cancelled long back even though I had paid my money during booking. As per Agoda, it is a mistake of a 3 Rd party, which I really don't care. I had booked the hotel for specific date bcoz it was birthday of my wife. It doesn matter if they refund me the whole amount, the has wasted and so has my mood. I shall never recommend anyone for Agoda n never will book myself. If they do not care for customer why should we care.

Nothing but thieves... Paid for our accommodation and when we arrived the apartment was nothing like advertised... It was moldy, had broken door in bathroom n kitchen cupboards... We told the host we weren't happy and they told us to leave... Anyway long story short, Agoda supported the host by saying we wanted to cancel when I had video evidence that the host told us to leave... So at the end of the day the host denied us to check in and got paid $1200 for not supplying any services and Agoda got their kickback as well... Well done Agoda you are a bunch of thieving clowns 🤬🤬
I booked a King Bed room through their site. When I got to the property, they said the room was a far cheaper room that was booked through Expedia and had two single beds and no bathroom. Difference in price between the rooms was about $75 per night. Customer service at Agoda admitted it was their error but would only agree to egging about $30 per night. Do not use this site. They are an intermediary and will use other lodging booking sites to book your room.
This site is out of Singapore and claim no responsibility for their intentionally deceptive practices. They never disclosed additional charges on my room as well as having to check in and out everyday which has added unnecessary daily deposits of over $250 from my account that to this date have not been refunded. Don't pay Aboga and don't even stay at the Golden Nugget laughlin. Absolute joke.
When I booked a room to spend overnight in Istanbul to get my connecting flight next day unexpectedly my flight was canceled and the agency offered me another flight outside of Turkey. I already booked the hotel and they did not want to give me a refund no matter the mistake is not mine. No voucher was issued either. Very disappointed of their business

I booked a 5 star hotel through Agoda with option pay later. 4 days prior to my date, I tried to make the payment. It declined. Tried many cards of different banks and people. All of them are same as rejected. Agoda customer care caanot do anything. They must add more payment options like net banking. So, for Indians they should avoid the site for any booking.
I Purchased a 1 night stay for a hotel. Didn't end up using it. Tried to get a refund through customer service and got nowhere. Send Email with my booking number said they would send refund. Week has gone by and nothing has been returned. Cant talk to anyone no-one returns my phone calls. After looking at my Reciept Says There are no refunds. Really You Can Just keep People's money and if they have a issue and cant go to their booking you just keep my money, What a Rip Off! Who would do that?

I had to get a refund from my hotel stay since the hotel had construction going on Sunday morning at 730 AM next door.
Agoda decided to jack up the 1st night's booking price out of nowhere and proceeded to refund a very dismal remaining amount. That's called Business Fraud and as a customer I can't do anything about it. Apparently Agoda can alter the price that you agreed to book at to have a advantage on refund amounts. You have been warned.
I tried to book a room, and the site said the room at that price was no longer available. And the transaction was canceled only to find out that I was charged and hour later after I had booked another room. They even had the nerve to say that it never happened. This is a bad site don't book here.

Used Agoda to book a hotel in ACY for wedding anniversary at the Golden Nugget. Go to check into hotel at around 5:15pm, hotel can find my reservations. Call Agoda rep and they say everything looks ok on their end after a 5-minute hold, I tell them again, the hotel says there is no reservation in my name nor the confirmation number they emailed to me. Agoda asks me to hold another 5 minutes while they try to figure out what is wrong. In the meantime a Golden Nugget manager at the check in sees that I am having trouble with Agoda and calls Golden Nugget reservations for me to see about getting me and my wife room. Agoda comes back on the line and says they need me to wait for a call back in 15 minutes while they call their intermediary to see about my reservation and then hangs up. I decide to have the manager book my room with Golden Nugget direct about $150 more expensive but at least I have a room for our anniversary weekend. At 6:40 pm Agoda sends me an email that my reservation has now been confirmed with the proper reservation # and then at 7:15 I get a call back I didn't pick up because by that time my wife and I are already checked in at the hotel and at dinner, Agoda didn't even leave a message. This is horrendous customer service and I will never use their services again. Go someplace to get your reservations, this service is unreliable and inexcusable for how they treated us! Zero Stars, If i Could.

Website bumped up my reservation to a week later, could not cancel. Sent me an email denial with a no response email. Poor design, and no customer service.
Total scam. Agoda showed us a rate of $200 a night while in Japan. We booked the hotel and stayed 3 nights no problems with the booking only to find out they charged us $900 a night. Grand total around $3000 for 3 night stay. They will not refund the difference. This hotel has never shown to be $900 a night. Do not book through Agoda.
Hello all! I strongly recommend you use a website other than agoda. We booked a hotel using agoda and they overcharged our account by $2000. The amount we agreed to was not what was deducted from our account. Bonus… we paid $900 a night for a $200 a night hotel that was certainly not a 5 star hotel. Polished turd for an overpriced rate! Sign up, agoda is happy to charge. Who needs to go on a cruise when agoada can charge your entire vacation for one night of stay? Good luck! Worst business model in the travel arena. Spread the word. Don't use Agoda.

I was double booked for a stay at hotel which was their error. They are refusing to refund my money for their error. I have emails to as proof also
My girlfriend and I booked through Agoda and holy $#*! save yourself the trouble and don't book through these scammers. Sure the price is nice and cheap, but you're literally praying to god that you win the lottery and they miraculously don't cancel on you. Called customer service and you're met with an outsourced employee that was unprofessional and hung up on us.
I booked 1 room for 2 night at The Base Central Pattaya Thailand from 09 September to 11 I received my booking confirmation email
Paid to Agoda but when arriving at the property no 1 know about my booking and not keys available no phone was available to contact the property only the email address

Worst experience no one should take their service till today they have not refunded my money no holiday company takes more than 7 days to refund. They are litrally taking more than 45 days they say that also excluding the holidays and saturay sunday litrally this is not mentioned on their site only you will come to know once you are there in their refund trap. Litrally a froad company its been 45days that my hjoliday money is in vain and these people has no response worst service ever.
Tried to cancel a hotel stay due to Covid19 surge. It is impossible to get an actual person on the line. The app puts you in infinite circular loops, the phone line gets you in bot loops as well and hangs up on you promptly whenever you reach a point where the system is no longer interested in answering your questions. If you are 100% certain you are going on a trip and want the cheapest of prices with zero service, use this rubbish, otherwise stay well clear of it. It's not worth the aggravation.
Booked a trip to the cove in the Bahamas on 10-19-21. Trip was from 11-1 to 11-5. Said when booked free cancellation until 10-28. Cancelled on 10-27 & received a cancellation confirmation. On 11-15 I called & asked about my refund & was told it takes 30 days. Called back on 12-1 & they said they emailed their supplier to give us a refund. Not sure what that means as I booked & was charged by Agoda. I called Amex & disputed & will not have to pay but wouldn't use or recommend Agoda to anyone.

I booked with Agoda for Philippine while checking the room the travel partner Orient Pacific charged me for the same hotel same date & same name. The hotel even requested for refund., all these customers services has same stories 48 hrs will resolve, more than 2 months nothing has resolve. Do you think I will do business with them anymore? Apparently,Agoda has all these travel partners not in sync with them. If I use booking.com, they will remind me, are you sure? U are booked already. At least the website is not flaky. I have group booking for New York paranoid to even click Agoda website. Don't trust them anymore.
I Booked Through Agoda for a 1 day stay@ Queens inn Velankanni on 06th Jan 2024. I had booked the hotel including Complementary Breakfast, but to my surprise the Hotel charged me Breakfast, and i had to pay, then when i checked on my email and subsequently with the details@ the Hotel, the Complementary food has not be mentioned, The charges with food itself was cheaper at the hotel, and was expensive@ Agoda, They are cheating the customer and has no response from their customer Care
