I am literally on a step by step picture guide on how to access your account, and it even says there that you can access your account meanwhile your card is on the way, I stay on the phone with these people for large sum amounts of time and they always hang up, GARBAGE customer service, this company needs to be sued, they hold your money and just tell you to wait and they dont even go by their own rules they just make them up

Tip for consumers:

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS CARD unless you want to get paid 3 weeks later

WISELY not for US
July 7, 2023

I definitely have to agree with Dustin R review- "Wisely is horrible". I'm going through similar situations with the "Wisely Dispute Team" who I bank with for over 2 years to reported about a suspicious ATM activity on my account that withdrew the amount of $320 at Walgreen ATM ( S. Austin location). I only made ONE withdrawal transaction of $120 dollars on the date of June 23 the same day I got paid from my employer at Walgreens 9am morning before the unauthorized transaction was made later in the afternoon at 2pm at the same Walgreen atm location. I had my WISELY card in my possession all day at work. I found out about these unauthorized transactions after I got off work that evening to make a purchase of $5 at a Sally Beauty Supply store where my payment had declined which I knew my balance left was $328 available. So, I called the company from the number of the atm, and reported to the store manager which the managers were very helpful as we tried to figure out the problems. I called Wisely card services to check my balance which stated 8.00 left in the account and filed the dispute with the "Wisely Dispute Team". The Manager and I happened to find my receipt of an unauthorized transaction of $320 on the floor near the trash bin with the rest of the throw away bank receipt. I explained the situation to the dispute team. They mailed me the dispute form which I filled out and sent the form back right away. I called to check the status of my dispute. They kept saying they're still investigating and it'll take 2 weeks to a month. I finally got with the dispute team and agent Amair stated that my dispute got denied, refused to refund and the claim case was closed. I was totally shocked and disappointed after hearing that they closed my case without deeply looking into this fraud that's going around with these atm machines. In this case, they think I withdraw my money. WTF. That was a RED FLAG for me. I immediately contacted my employer about the WISELY card fraud and they mention that few other co-worker have had complaints about their card as well. Hopefully soon my employer will go with another prepaid card service soon. I will close this WISELY card service and will NO LONGER use them again. I am dissatisfied with this outcome. This WISELY bank CANNOT be TRUSTED. Bank of America, I'm coming to you.

The customer service is ridiculously ignorant...
November 27, 2022

I've had an account with adp/wisely for 5 years now my name is his sole name on this account, and no one has ever been authorized to do anything to do with my account! These people were told a week ago when I noticed a card was ordered on my account for days I let them know I did not order this debit card who ordered this debit card nobody is authorized to order debit cards but myself! Nothing was done the several times I called I'm thinking this card's going to show up and it's going to have my name on it! Wrong again. A debit card showed up at my home with someone's name I've never even heard of printed on it for their use by wisely officials! I call once again to tell them I did not order this card not only did you issue someone a card that I didn't authorize or even know anything about but you put it in that person's name! I have the same email the same contact information and not one email was sent to me regarding issuing a debit card to a person I sure as hell never authorized a debit card for access to my hard-earned money in my account. It's probably one of them here's the name "Melvinia Atopley"! What makes matters worse I report this card arrived in my mail on a Friday they tell me I need to prove who I am send them a picture of my social security card and my government issued ID thinking that's all I'm going to have to do and I can presume living my life with food in my stomach and gas in my car... I sent them the requested items my license and my social security card they tell me in turn that I have to wait two business days for "Security"to verify I'm who I say I am! I am livid, where was this security when I told these people days ago I didn't order this card where was security when they issued this card in this person's name!? I let them know I have 2 bills that are due this weekend I'm going to get LATE FEES on both of those... I MISSED OUT ON THE BEST SHOPPING WEEKEND OF THE YEAR! AND I HAVE NO FOOD OR GASOLINE IN MY TANK TO GET ME TO MY JOB BECAUSE THEY'VE LOCKED MY FUNDS AWAY FROM ME FOR A MISTAKE THAT THEY MADE! Today is the first day that I AM ABSENT FROM WORK because I can't even get to work CAN'T GET GASOLINE because my funds are locked away from me for fraudulent activity by WISELY OFFICIALS! BEWARE THIS COMPANY WILL TREAT YOU LIKE A CRIMINAL EVEN WHEN YOU'RE REPORTING WHAT THEY'RE DOING IS CRIMINAL! THIS HAS GOT TO BE ILLEGAL... I'M WRITING THE CEO THE PRESIDENT EVERYBODY AND ANYBODY THAT IS ABOVE THESE SQUIRRELS THAT HAVE UNJUSTIFIABLY LOCKED ME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT...MY FUNDS! DEPRIVING ME OF FOOD! DEPRIVE ME OF GASOLINE! TODAY IS THE FIRST DAY I MISSED AT MY JOB AND TOMORROW'S GOING TO BE THE SECOND DAY BOTH DAYS ARE BECAUSE WISELY OFFICIALS CONDUCTED FRAUDULENT ACTIVITY ON MY ACCOUNT AND NOW I'M HAVING TO PROVE WHO I AM AND WAIT FOR ENTIRE DAYS AFTER I'VE ALREADY PROVED WHO I AM! WISELY OFFICIALS ARE WHO HAVE COMMITTED FRAUD ON MY ACCOUNT!

Tip for consumers:

Steer clear of this you're better off leaving your money in your billfold sitting in the dash of your car!!

What in hell happened to bank cards?
October 11, 2022

32 people on here give this POS company 1 star. How is it that companies are still using WISELY as a PayCard for employee wages? This section of reviews should be full,. No one stands up for what is right anymore. We just take it! I have sooo had it with calling US companies because of a problem and getting a call center in India! I am sure there are many people in this country looking for work who would be more than happy to get a job at a call center here in the US. We lose companies and employment opportunties in the US by allowing this practice. Very difficult to understand both me to understand them and for them to understand me. No customer service, no manners, and zero solutions to problems. This comes from a fraudulant charge on a WISELY card. WISELY was supposed to send out a new card on Sept 22, and it is now Oct 10! I was told it will cost $30 to receive the card in 2-4 days. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told that it wil be $35.00! I am now waiting for a manager to call me back 1:24 pm on a Tuesday,(yeah... right...). In the middle of writing this review I received a call. The mailing was never even processed! Of course the is nothing one person can do in these cases, so we eat the fees and shut our mouth because you talk yourself blue in the face trying to get someone to understand your problem. All I am requesting is that WISELY own up to their mistake and waive the fee for the overnight shipping. Waiving a fee to cover a mistake made by their agent! I am now being told that my address is out of date, and I need to send them documents informing them of our address... AGAIN! Now they tell me it was never processed or mailed on Sept 22. This is sooo whacked out! This is a company pay card so I can't just cancel it. Let's all remember this crap on election day so we can stop this overseas call center garbage from invading our lives. You can tell me I am an idiot and to stop being foolish, but when it happens to you I will be sure to reply in kind. The fraudulant charge by the way is from a company in India who got the card number for a free trial deal... JUST PAY SHIPPING! Wisely was supposed to sent a new card so we could shed this, but they have stalled for nearly a month so this company will be able to charge the card again. The latest "manager" states that we could lock our card to prevent this company from accessing the card number... Great plan! Lock the card and wait while all our funds are tied up without a mehod of buying gas, food, or paying bills until the efficient people at WISELY remove their thumb from their anus and send me a new card with a new number.

Tip for consumers:

Use ANY other card! Noy Wisely!

A joke.
July 22, 2022

I have had my job for a little over a month. My Wisely card was sent to the incorrect address. SO- in that month, I have spoken with customer service trying to get a replacement card mailed to the correct address. First time I spoke with them they told me I needed to upload my ID with that address. Did it. Called back a couple days later and they said "whoops, you also need to upload a piece of mail." Did it. Called back a couple days later and they said that document never uploaded. (I would also like to add that I have called multiple other times and they have either not answered or they have hung up on me.) SO I REUPLOADED IT just to be told days later "We cannot accept that piece of mail- it needs to be a utility bill with YOUR name on it." BRO, I'M 16 YEARS OLD. HOWIMSUPPOSEDTOGETHAT
