Any bonus credits, credits for onboarding new members are BOGUS! They pull your money and will not - do not apply your EARNED CREDITS. Even after calling customer service I was given a I'm so sorry but we cannot apply your credits. WHY you ask? Because I had an angel balance. What's an angel balance you ask? First time ordering from Wine Insiders. My package was damaged in shipping(they use Fed Ex as their carrier). I WAS in fact notified of the damage. However, was NOT notified my package was sent back to shipper. I have Been waiting at home to sign for my wine. After talking to Fed ex and then calling Wine Insider's customer service. I was told my package had been sent back. I was Not given this notification. The man (Shawn) in customer service felt the need to explain to me in an extremely condescending tone how to use tracking info. As if I walked straight out of a cave. He told me it was my responsibility to call Wine Insiders back and request a new shipment since my first order was damaged. I was under the impression all of this would've been handled by them since I'm a paying customer. Or at the VERY least, been told my package had been sent back, instead of wasting my day off waiting around at home for the package. I asked if this info is listed under their customer service potion on the Wine Insiders site, he said no. So, I guess I should start learning Telepathy. I said that once a shipment is damaged & returned back to them their warehouse can take up to two weeks to notify them and send out a new package to the sender. I explained this was my first purchase from them & probably my last. He told me when I got off the phone my wine would be here in 3 business days. Guess I better clear my schedule now to begin the waiting process again. Ridiculous.

I ordered more than a week ago, I saw right away in the order confirmation that they was a mistake supposed to be a mix but appeared all red. I emailed and called the same day with no answer. Emailed again 48hours after, and tried to call again, no answer. Today I received the wine, all red and as I was ordering my first i was supposed to get 2 gift bottles and a corkscrew (apparently false advertising as nothing but the 12 bottles of red).
I'm very disappointed by the way they are treating their customers.

Placed two orders for a half case of wine priced at $21 a piece. Checked my tracking the next day to make sure I was home to accept delivery and both orders were cancelled (with no other notification). I called customer service to see why and was told that their was a pricing mistake on their website and they would not honor it. My two options given to me were 1. Pay full price for the sets or 2. Cancel the orders and receive a refund in 3-5 business days. Zero accountability for faulty advertising or an effort to at least make it partially correct.
Attached is their attempt at rectifying their false pricing. Basically, more money for them and not close to making anything right.
Attached is what they sent me once my review went live here, a $25 certificate for a combined $56 pricing error. Not remotely equivalent.

I felt safe seeing that Martha Stewart is associated with this business but don't be fooled what you see is not what you get. Not even a little.

I was referred to them by Groupon and tried their Red Wine sampler offer. First they slam you with an extremely high shipping price, then they take forever to send you the wrong bottles of no-name wines. In my selection there were 4 whites which I did not order and all the red were duplicates of another. So, I made this known and "Philip H." took my "case". His "solution" was to get me a credit on my next order. Seriously? How would this condescending twat think I'll ever order from them again? So I donated the whole shipment to the homeless so they will have a great New Years part. Horrible. Stay away - I wish I could warn more people.

I'll preface my complaint by saying that for the last 6 months, I've had no issues with this company and enjoyed all the wine they've shipped.
Unfortunately, I recieved a letter about a week ago stating that I'd be receiving my "bonus" shipment as a "thank you" for being a club member. I was then charged $164.69. Mind you, my regular subscription wasn't due until 12/29. Sent 2 emails over a few days to no response. Then the wine showed up so I contacted them through the live chat option and thankfully got an immediate response. They offered me 40% off and to "push back" my regular subscription until February. How is it a BONUS CASE if you charge me for it, offer a discount so i still end up paying for it, then charging me for my regular subscription at a later date? I feel completely scammed. The verbiage in both letters I got is deceitful and misleading. I took the 40% off the customer service rep offered and cancelled my subscription to avoid being scammed by them in the future. Unfortunate would have remained a loyal customer if they had just kept their "bonus" case to themselves.
I ordered 2x. 1st time they didn't send the free gift. 2nd box they didn't either and it was supposed to be all red. I got chardonnay and rose wine which is NOT red. 4 out of 15 bottles I paid for. 2 bottles the cork wasn't top notch so it crumbled and fell into the bottles and I had to stain wine in a paper towel which lost alot. Contacted customer service and they did NOTHING! They lie and say 100% customer satisfaction which is pretty unprofessional! They take your money and don't care about their customers.

When I complained, I was told "Oh... for some reason, it lumped all prices together"... when I complained more about deceptive marketing, the next level replied to me that is the way they always do things! American Express has Been providing great offers and found an offer to use with wine insiders. Made my order and received an email from amex that I triggered my offer. All is good until this morning when I found out order was cancelled.
I only found out because of the group I am part of started noticing their orders were cancelled as well (1000s in this amex group). None of us received an email letting us know that our orders were cancelled we had to log in and find out. I resorted to trying the live chat which was not up and running (I am guessing because everyone was trying to reach out). I did email and received a response. But the response was "order was entered incorrectly. You can reorder and let us know if there any other problems."
Well I am definitely not comfortable ordering again, also I have already triggered my offer therefore I am guessing I lost out on 1 of 2 offers provided.
To add insult to injury. Come to find out within the group people were receiving credits to make up for wine insider's mistake so I am feeling a little "played".
Being told they made a mistake on their end, then being told to just reorder. They could of tried to make a sale and give me alternatives to substitute my order even it meant putting in "cheap" wines if it was a pricing error. Or at least something
Decided this was not worth my trouble as I am guessing they don't value their new customers that might be taking advantage of an offer.
I know I am the one off bad review because it seems they have high reviews (I am sure they are great). Their damage control for this issue could use some consistency.
I am guessing the "pricing error" plus the huge influx of orders they could not maintain or was not ready. I hate to admit to having "first world" problems lol but it would of have been nice to have a good deal on some alcohol during these troubled times. Cheers!

Ordering was very easy, delivery was terrible. Kept getting notifications from FedEx, 4 different attempts multiple phone calls to both FedEx and Wine Insiders. Too much time wasted and too many people involved.
In the past 6 months FedEx has said "no one was home to sign when I've been home whole time, when I complained had to wait all next day AGAIN. Poor customer service both party's. I gave excellent review previous but will not order again bc Of shipping issues, oh and once FEDEX dropped my wine. Busted bottles sent back to NY but shows as delivered? Didn't tell me. I had to call.

Ordered off Brad's Deals, case shipped plus free air pressure opener. Arrived fairly quickly but no opener as promised. Checked order, it was listed. Called right away and was told by customer noservice that they could not help, they only take orders outside m-f 9-4. Called back Monday was told it should be in the case, where exactly would there be room in a sealed case of wine for a hidden oversized opener? Then was told it was a distributor error but they could not send it alone. I could order more or have a discount off future full priced orders. Was told I want to just send back the case as part of the satisfaction guarantee. She said fine. I guess sending a case of wine twice because of your error is better business than completing the order as promised to a new customer. As I waited for the return label to be sent I was called again. They are now willing to send the opener but it will take a few weeks. So the fragile wine that required a signature was sent in 48 hours but the bottle opener takes several weeks? My guess is that you ran out and don't expect customers to be annoyed. Horrible customer service either way. Can't rate the wine as its all going back but researched a couple and the reviews are very mixed.

I ordered 15 bottles of wine all with excellent reviews on the site. I have opened 5 bottles thus far and they have appeared watered down and bitter due to the lack of richness in color and flavor. I have even tried to add fruit to make a sangria but ended up pouring most of the wine out as it was undrinkable! I advise to skip the "good deal". And spend a little more with your local retailer.

They advertised a coupon on their site and did not honor it. We called customer service and got no return phone call. We emailed no return emails. When we did order from this company we had a problem with a few bottles of wine that was sour and they never alleviated the problem at all when we finally did get in touch with customer service. They are horrible. Stay away!

I thought great 47% discount and free shipping! So I went and started to place my annual orders for gifts. When I got to checkout I said wait a minute. After the discount code is applied they put two gift bags costing $5 each that cannot be removed from the cart. Last year got burned when there Groupon did not clearly list the shipping charges. OK I learned to read Groupon terms more carefully mistakes happen I thought. When seeing what they are doing this year I now believe the Groupon thing was deliberate. I believe Wine insiders is not an honest company and I will not do anymore business with them.
I placed an order for 24 bottles of wine for an upcoming event and only received 9 of the bottles. When I called, I was told I would get a tracking number in 24 hours. Well here we are 72 hours later and no tracking number, so I called again and I was told the wine is NOT IN STOCK! I was also told by the customer service rep that they received an overwhelming number of calls for the same thing... Over sold wine while fully charging my credit card for wine not in stock. I had been purchasing wine from them for years, but no more. I don't like being mis-lead and lied to. Stay away from this SCAM OPERATED COMPANY!

The wines came in the right time and I didn't try them yet. But Coustumer service is horrible. They supposed to send me 2set of 2 glasses, after I contact them and I got 2 plastic decanters. I contacted them again before I wrote the review to see what's going on and nobody reaches me anymore. After a order of 12 bottles this is all what I'm getting, for sure never again. Unhappy.

I placed an order through groupon and received 12 bottles of Italian red wines two of each. I have open 3 bottles thus for and have found them unfavorable, the 3rd bottle was open just this morning because I wanted to test the taste against 2 different bottles and I swear they all taste the same, another bottle going down the drain. I'm not exactly sure who wine insiders are as I recently heard of them through groupon but I am not satisfied and will not be returning. I searched YouTube to try and find more information in reviews also to leave a comment but thus far the comment section seem to only be privy to subscribers of the channel and unless I missed something visually, I have no use for that. I'm not an avid wine drinker but the wines that I have purchased locally, I have been satisfied with. I thought by purchasing in bulk I could have it on hand, ( the pinot noir, merlot are awful and I have had different brands prior to wine insiders) The 1st bottle I open was freshcello never heard of it, nothing nice. I actually drink it for the resveratrol. As for me it was a waste of money I will continue to trust my local choices.
