“Horrific customer service”

My wife ordered some WS products on their web site on 12/7/23. She used 2 different gift cards to pay for her purchase, which apparently confuses the system and every single Williams-Sonoma customer service person. It is now 1/20/24 and our order has never shipped and although 6-8 service reps have promised to resolve the problem, no-one has actually done it. There is no follow up, no courtesy, just BS promises to get us off the phone. We will never deal with this company again. Terribly frustrating!

I found the best sourdough bread ever on the Williams-Sonoma website, which was quite surprising. The bread is baked and shipped by Nashoba Brook Bakery, which is located in Concord, MA. On the site, it stipulates that the bread might take two weeks to arrive but it came within five days after ordering. The round loaves are just as depicted on the site and they smelled oh so good and tasted just like a sourdough bread should taste. Definitely worth a try if you miss sourdough bread with substance. The site also offers other breads offered at Nashoba.

On October 12, I ordered a La Creuset Dutch oven as an engagement gift for my son and his fiancé. I received notice that they would receive the gift within 3 to 5 days, it was not shipped. After two calls to WS customer service, I called today and pushed for a resolution. Finally, it was determined that they had billed my credit card $3.00 above the invoice figure I had. I never got an email to inform me of this mistake and the two previous calls had not revealed this. Ridiculous. I asked to speak with a Manager and after a hold of 25 minutes, I never spoke to the "Leadership" person, I was told they would "forgive" their mistake and ship the gift which was now over a month late. No bank is ever going to authorize a payment above what their customer has approved. What universe do they live in. I cancelled it and ordered from Amazon. They will have it tomorrow. November 17.
I will NEVER shop Williams Sonoma again. No one should have to put up with such stupidity and arrogance. This company deserves to fail.

I purchased a very expensive coffee pot on line during this pandemic. It was surprisingly terrible. It was manufactured in the cheapest way non of the parts stayed together. It was just at the start of social isolation and I threw the box out immediately. The customer service was wonderful. They sent a return label, said I could take my time to find a box, I repacked it as well as I could but clearly it was a DIY job. They refunded all of my money and every customer service representative was charming. Thank you

How could anyone complain about an online company that sells only the best and backs it up with the best customer service one could ask for? I have bought everything from their crossiants made in Paris to their pots and pans and cutlery and have never once been dissatisfied. During the holidays I often send my friends the pastries which are sent frozen (most are made overseas) and the thank you cards and calls I receive are so worth it. The croissants are better than the ones we can buy at any bakery (they come frozen you bake them yourself). I have bought their pans for gifts also. The home store is also fabulous. I adore WS. A favorite of mine. Never a let down.

Everything I bought I received and it was all chef quality. Only two problems I have are you cannot get a hold of anybody at William Sonoma or manufacturers to get more info on a product and they do not offer auto pay.

I have had great experiences over the years on their website and in the store. The company is highly ethical and helpful. With coupons, discounts, and sales often used in combination, the prices can be as good as anywhere. If I have a problem with an item, customer service has consistently been there to resolve issues.

I love to cook, and love shopping at W&S. Although I don't have a store in my area, I shop online. They offer free shipping on orders over $49, and often have sales on the items I need for pantry, or cooking supplies. The quality of their products is excellent, as is their customer service both in store, and online. It's one of my favorite places to shop

Williams-sonoma has great quality cookware. I love their products. I am a bit addicted to this site. It is very easy to navigate to find special items for your kitchen that you didn't even know you needed.

A few months ago I ordered for my parents a Nespresso Citiz machine from Williams Sonoma. It was all easy, and when I had a question about the machine, the customer service folks were great in responding. I do enjoy perusing the website for slick-looking kitchen gadgets that I'll never be able to afford.
