This site is actually an extremely good value if you dont pay for shipping (they have promos) I bought from the new york warehouse, which may be why the quality and shipping were so fast. I got the box of clothing about a week after I ordered and the items were very good quality. I ordered $300 of stuff as a retailer and they actually seem like good quality (only 4/50 items were defective everything else was pretty much perfect condition. I shop on this site regularly, believe it or not. I've placed nine orders on WD so far and I plan on buying from them again in the future. Their customer service is hit-or-miss sometimes, but if you come off as polite then they'll give you the same respect in return. They've answered all of my questions, handled all of my orders quickly, and even helped me through with their bonuses/discounts.

From my experience, Wholesale-Dress is one of the few 'popular' Asia fashion sites that never overestimates their product weight. Even their shoes, heels, coats, and bags are nicely priced and average quality. This site also has reviews from users that give you a good idea of what you're getting. Just keep in mind that you get what you pay for. Use your common sense when buying online and judging from similar pictures, really. I'm nine orders in with Wholesale-Dress and now I KNOW what's gonna be cheap and what's going to be an amazing steal. You sort of train yourself to know what's gonna be crap or not, just from judging things. Bottom line is: when you're shopping on this site, the minute you start to doubt their product then don't buy it. So far, all of the things I've received are exactly the things I want. I even have two pairs of Black Milk galaxy leggings that I bought for $12 USD from WD.net!

Trust your instincts, and have a little faith in the customer service because it's not all that bad. Because there is SO MUCH MORE WORSE OUT THERE, just letting you know.

Also I think most wholesale shoppers don't realize that WD has a US warehouse, but with a limited selection. Still, it's extremely fortunate when you buy a good number of their clothes and shoes and don't have to pay the ridiculous shipping amount. So if you're a first-time buyer and live in the States, I definitely suggest you start from their US warehouse before you brave their China stock.

I've ordered from both warehouses frequently! They all arrive nicely, and they package their products in individual, personalized zip lock bags? Well, not the kind you'd store food in, but it's nice that they just don't wrap their things in saran wrap. I always use FedEx as my shipping option. It's safe, tracked, fast, and you usually have to sign for it. Which is something great to have, in my opinion.

I ordered a jersey and it came the following week. Looked just as nice as the same stitched jersey's that you pay $100. I highly recommend this site...

While the wait time was about three weeks the price and quality was great. I ordered a wedding dress and another 7 formal dresses. I entered my fiancee's sizes, paid and got my goods in about three to four weeks. Everything was as we expected. We added two inches to the length of the wedding dress, so that we can have it altered later. My fiancee was happy, so I am very happy.

After reading above most negative reviews about this website, I really very much surprised, cos my experience is a little bit different, you know, shopping on wholesale-dress was my first online shopping experience, I originally had no confidience about online store, that time i was so attracted by the incredible low price and amazing massive styles of clothing which made me wanna get them all at once, I contact their online customer service, they patiently answer all my qustions, feel very grateful and my dealing was very quick and fluent. I know their stock status is changing frequently, so it is normal if several items out of stock, it is understable and acceptable. Acutally, there was stain in one of my white dress, i washed it and the stain gone. The most important is the clothing, i love them. Maybe i will buy from there again. I have been purchasing items from this website for 3 months now. I love wholesale-dress.net. I have made 4 orders all of them perfect nothing wrong with my items, what i see in the picture is exactly what i get. Yes it's true that some of the items are oos from the order that you make but i don't mind cause you do get the credit that you can buy something else from the store. I purchased kids clothes for my 4yr old, all gorgeous!, i have bought woemn clothes, and shoes. Customer services is wonderful they help me out everytime i i have a question. I always pay with paypal and get DHL express. My items take 3-5 working days to prepare and then 2-4 working day to reach my house which by the way i live in florida!. This store is not a scam. They do help you if your going to buy from them make you start with the new arrivals, that is how i always get my stuff without having to harras them like all ppl do. This website is fine (at least for lingere/costumes) as long as you know what you're getting into:
-They sell cheap Chinese knock-offs. Materials aren't always exact.
-You get what you pay for, both in terms of quality and service.
-Not everything you get will be good.
-The quality of goods is what you'd find in a nightmarket or chinatown. They won't last that long.
-Clothing is in Asian sizes: smaller then you're used to and inconsistent both between identical items and across different items.
-They don't really communicate. Items not in stock will be removed from your order, and you'll be awarded a site-credit (which can be refunded if you can explain it to them, apparently).
-"Free size" is not one size fits all. It's XS-S in western terms.
-Buying from this website is gambling. They aggregate clothes from other companies and do no QC themselves.
-I think the negative reviews are from people with overly high expectations. If it's too good to be true, it's not.
-Shipping prices are high. They sell you the expensive express shipping (they claim without markup)... but it is quite express. If you're not happy with shipping charges from Asia, shop on dealextreme.com where they bake it into the price.

So... with that in mind, why would *anyone* shop there? Because they have a crazy selection and are very cheap at the end of the day.

I was happy with 80% of my items, and would gamble again.

Here's my experience:

I discovered this site after using a www.tineye.com image search on some eBay items, eventually finding the matching item for a lot less money.

I was absolutely blown away by the sheer volume of lingerie and costumes on this site, and eventually settled on 120$ of merchandise.

That's when I ran into the piles of negative reviews, and unsatisfied customers. I learned that wholesale-dress.net makes cheap Chinese sweat-shop labor knock-offs of nice looking stock photos from Japan/Korea. On the other hand was a wordpress blog, http://roilas.wordpress.com/, which is clear astroturfing - fake consumer review / advertising.

So I was worried, and tried to find my items on different sites. I couldn't - they either wouldn't ship to USA, had minimum quantity requirements, or lacked my items of interest. Reviews on other asian wholesalers are similarly dismal. I finally decided to gamble, threw in my order, and hoped for the best.

My parcel surprised me at my door within a week of entering my order. I had no idea it had shipped. The shipping was very high, but since it was express UPS didn't charge brokerage fees for clearing customs - usually 20$ according to the deliveryman.

My order was short two items, and I had been site-credited full price and a reasonable amount of shipping - I'm not sure what I'm going to do about that. I was mostly quite happy with my items.

Out of 16 items, I had 3 items that were either significantly not as described or had noticeable production issues/poor workmanship. I'm not sure if it's worth trying to get a refund or credit on 20$ of items. It may not be worth the effort; Chinese stores generally don't accept returns for any reason. Unlike in the West prices of goods are not inflated to cover the cost of returns, so you're dealing with a fundamentally different cultural mentality when you start such discussions.

Overall, I'm very happy with what I got.
