I made an account with editor for a small project I was doing. I used it before for school and I thought why not use it again.

When editing videos they are very limited in what you can do. It's basically just good at making slideshows. (When charged you are charged for the ENTIRE YEAR, not the month.)

After using it for the one time, I forgot about it. Which I will say, that is completely my fault and I take full responsibility for that. I should have made sure that I had canceled after my use.

However, this does not excuse the fact they are holding my money hostage. I contacted them in less than 24 hours of the transaction. I tried to cancel on my phone but it kept redirecting me to download their app. I didn't because I had used it before and it was a horribly experience. It was glitchy and not very user friendly; just horrible. (Also I was afraid of it glitching and screwing me over more)So when I come to realize that they took out $100, I immediately requested a refund.

FIRST, apparently they don't give out refunds. Second, you CAN request one but you won't get the full refund (at least that is what I heard, have yet to hear from them; I have also heard that the support team sucks). Right now I'm a little short on cash and I need every cent I can keep. At this point I will be happy if I can get at least half of what I'm owed. It is funny how they are completely capable of taking money, but are dumbfounded when it comes to putting it back.

Like I said before this is my fault by not canceling sooner, however, I do feel like if I contact the support team in less than 24 hours of the transaction and if I request a refund, I should get my refund. If you need a film editor you would be better off with Filmora9. It's a one time buy, and you have a wider range of editing abilities. However, it is a little tedious to add subtitles and text to videos though.
