WHOLE SERVICE TOOK 5 DAYS! Not quite the same-day payment as advertised but that was due to influx of orders... sent my phone on 05/12 - arrived on 06/12 - emailed on 07/12 for an update - reply received 08/12 - FULL PAYMENT received on 09/12. Can't fault the service really - not sure why so many people are leaving negative reviews - my experience was positive. Maybe customers should be a bit more truthful around the condition of the devices!? Thanks webuyanyphone hopefully will use you again in the future
Absolute Jokers Essentially there business model is:- Quote High>>>>>> Test model and pick up any minor mark and kick it in the nuts>>>>>>New Valuation and get you all excited that we will pay you your reduced fee that day. Knowing most people cannot be arsed to have phone sent back. Essentially rob your phone for a silly price. Do not use as they will find annnnnnnny excuse not to pay you the full amount. Avoid like the plague. I just hope I've saved other people from the experience we have had. Rob dogs.

Absolute crooks.
I was offered £152 for my phone in 'good' condition, which it was, sent it in and they came back with a counter offer of £25. When I asked for my then back they said it would cost &10 to send it back… but would I settle for £35?
I'm sure they will comment on this about their rigorous testing process or 'honesty policy' or some other such nonsense below this… but the truth of the matter is, they never had any intention of paying what they said they would - and in fact their whole business model is built on this bait and switch approach.
Absolute scammers.
Sent a ludicrous offer for my phone, then have the gall to want to charge me £10.75 to get my phone returned.
A V O I D
EDIT The only reason you are asking for info is hoping people won't supply it so the review gets taken down
UPDATE - I GOT £90 MORE FROM ENVIRONPHONE.
Your company should be ashamed of itself. Your are crooks.
I will strive to make sure nobody uses your scam of a company again
Shameful

Avoid at all costs. As many others have said, avoid this company. They initially offer a good price then when they get the item they find tiniest of reasons to value it as almost scrap. Oh, and then want £10.75 "ransom" just to send your item back to you.
In my case they said a 6 year old fully working iPad had a less than perfect battery. What did they expect when they gave me an initial valuation for an item clearly identified as 6 years old. It had a screen protector and was in a case all its life yet they claimed it was scratched.
Don't waste your time with these.
Offer you a good price after you answer the questions honestly and then when get the phone they will absolutely come back with a derisory offer that most people will accept as it's them more hassle to get the phone back. Don't trust them.
No need for me to lie here, the phone was in perfect condition. Offered £155, great - they then change that to £30 because the screen, rear housing and bezels considerable wear - no it does not, lie.
Do not bother, basically a scam.
I recently upgraded my phone and sought to sell my old one. I normally use mazuma as they have always been good but webuyanyphone offered about £45 more for trade in so I stupidly went with them. Mazuma have NEVER knocked me down on 4 trade ins. This company received my phone which was in PERFECT condition as always in full body case. They stated there were three marks on it which is a lie and knocked over £100 off the trade in price quoted. I have the original box and the wires were still in their original sleeve. I kept the original screen stickers and put them back on. I'm a geek I know but you could have nearly sold this as a new phone. To have £100 knocked off the price as well as taking a week to sort and me having to chase them, they finally gave me a knocked
Down pay out. I wish I stuck with my normal trade In company. AVOID this company.

I sent an as-new iPhone 14 Pro, still with the original screen protector and boxed so the brand new cable— not a mark, scuff or single issue with the phone— it had been used for one month before work issued me a work phone. The phone has been kept in the case and even had the original seal.
I posted the phone, paid for upgraded insurance of £750 and next day delivery with three lots of double wrap.
I was just informed there are slight marks on the screen, which there absolutely isn't and a revised price of less than £100 than they offered.
The phone was brand new and in perfect condition.
I have now had a chance to review the reviews on here and other websites and it's clear that they're intentionally providing a higher price and on receipt of the phone offering a lower price knowing it's not worth the hassle of returning the device.
The code provided by them showed no makes at all.
This service is a scam, and I am going to write a letter to the trading standards body this weekend as I feel there is anther evidence with this website and other reviews that they're reading in bad faith.
Offered £140. Apparently there was wear on the glass screen. Offered £60. No scratches, chips or cracks, just wear, well it is a touch screen. Out to rip you off
I googled companies that buy phones and these came up. I got a great price quoted to me, so promptly sent my phone. When they get it, they drop the price from £271 to £185, which is absolutely disgusting. The phone had such minor scratches you could barely see them unless you shined a bright light (even then barely could see) and it was in excellent condition. You can't decline the offer online, so you have to spend ages ringing them.
The person on the phone is rude and couldn't care less, ups the offer by £10 wow. Makes it difficult for me to get my phone back. Says the money will be paid the next day (it wasn't).
Looking at other reviews its clear the deliberately overquote then massively drop it when they get it, which is what con artists do.
Never again will i use this scam of a company and I am attempted to report to Trading Standards as they are very shady.

Tip for consumers:
Be very cautious about using this business. Lure you in and then hit you with demeaning unfair counter offer for your product
I should have learned from we by any car They did exactly the same, offer you a price to get you in and then cut you down to less than 50% of the offer. Me not being desperate for the cash in both instances I told them to piss off! So you are better off shopping around online and stay away from the Scammers…
Tip for consumers:
DONT TOUCH THEM THROUGH YOUR PHONE IN THE RIVER !

"I had a rather unsatisfactory experience with this company on two separate occasions.
Approximately two years ago, I dispatched a flawless Note 20 Ultra to them. To my surprise, it was returned with alleged screen damage, which was not accurate. The accompanying photograph was blurry, and they offered a significantly reduced valuation. Subsequently, I sent the same device to another company without any issues, receiving the full amount for it.
Fast forward two years, and despite my prior experience, I decided to give them another chance with my 13 Pro Max. Initially, I requested their shipping label but received daily emails insisting I send my phone, even though I hadn't received their packaging.
Upon evaluation, they claimed over half off the value due to excessive scratches on the screen and back panel, which were entirely unfounded. The provided visual evidence did not support their assessment. Anticipating potential damage upon return, I was pleasantly surprised when the phone came back undamaged.
Some of the replies on this review site clearly show damaged phones and understand some review makers can be mistaken, but this was not true on this occasion.
Once again, I chose to send my phone to the next best online option, encountering no issues with acceptance and receiving the full payment.
In conclusion, I recommend opting for the second-highest priced company online. On two occasions, this company significantly undervalued my phone, leading me to suspect that it might be part of their business strategy, hoping customers either won't contest or will opt to pay the £12 return fee."

SCAM BUSINESS
This mobile phone quote business lures you in with seemingly decent quotes upfront. But beware - their subsequent quotes after "testing" turn out to be utter robbery.
I made the mistake of sending my phone to them for an initial assessment after getting a reasonable quote. But after running their so-called "testing procedure," they came back with a revised quote that was a half of the original amount! A clear bait-and-switch tactic.
As if that wasn't bad enough, they then had the audacity to demand I pay them money for return shipping if I didn't want to accept their absurdly reduced quote. This smells like a scam procedure meant to squeeze more money out of unsuspecting customers, who already sent their phones in.
They intentionally hide the fact that you'll likely end up receiving a half of what was initially quoted until they have your device in their possession. Don't let them take advantage of you like they did me! Their misleading quotes and demands for shipping fees are completely underhanded.
In summary, avoid this sham of a mobile phone quote business at all costs! Their technique will leave you getting a half of what was expected, if you see your phone again at all. Don't get stuck in their slimy scam like I did - stay far away!

Don't use this company! Offer was originally £205 and when they received my phone it was reduced to £105 due scratches on the screen. They definitely weren't there when I packed my phone up! See below before and after photos. I've had no option but to expect the offer, I wish I'd read the reviews on here first, as if returned to me, I'm sure it would now have these scratches.
Offering high price then drop it once they get the phone. My phone was in case since day 1. And they showed me scratches on the screen, their finger prints all over the phone and ofc dropped the price by half what I was offered. Then contacting them to send my phone back because I'm not happy with the price they offer and no reply, get ignored. So you got no option but just to accept their offer or it will be accepted automatically in few days time. They making good profits out from this, reselling. My advice to you is sell your phone somewhere else or in person where you can say no if they trying to play you. But once you send your phone in for them… you're done. Don't even want my phone back scratched up…
Don't use this company. Quoted £210 for an iPhone 11 in immaculate condition but had an 80% battery. Website says if battery is below 80% then a maximum of £30 will be deducted. Price came back offering £41.25. Absolute joke. And what they don't tell you is if you decline the offer and want your phone back they charge you £10.75
Avoid unless you don't mind receiving no where near your original offer
They reel you in via their website, offering top prices compared to competitors- only to then revalue your phone at £200 less. DO NOT USE
Had a reduced offer on my phone, did not accept it, sent an email advising this, then I had an email saying that I had accepted the offer and they had processed this, my phone has essentially been stolen by this company, cannot contact them by phone, emails are not being ignored, I really should have looked at the reviews beforehand as this is a regular incident by this company
DO NOT USE
Awful awful awful.
Please do not use this company, they are scammers! Originally offered £214 for my phone, now £110, my iPhone was in perfect condition!
Also it does not state that you then have to pay a fee of £10.00 to have the phone returned to you.
The 5* reviews must be staff/fake reviews. I have never dealt with a company so bad & with such bad customer service.
Please, do not use for your own good

NEVER USE THIS COMPANY
Sent my phone in good condition - my offer went from £213 to £51 bcos apparently heavy wear and tear on screen. They have scratched my phone and now it's been returned with marks all over it. The whole time I had my phone it had a screen protector on it and the scratches they've added is not wear and tear. They've used an instrument to scratch it as all marks are exactly the same thickness and all over the screen. They've totally messed it up so I can't sell it now. Shoddy company. Absolute liars. Do not use. I have photographic evidence of how I sent it and how it returned to me. I intend to take this further.
Tip for consumers:
Do not use webuyanyphone.com
I wish I'd read the reviews of this company before sending my phone. There are so many other reviews the same as mine, under offering, poor customer service and in my case they've told me they'd give me £10 more or id have to pay £10 to send it back. Since when is sending phone back to me £10?! I can't see anyone that had received what they've had their phone valued at, always under pay and what's worse is they seem to want to have the equivalent of a brand new phone to give you what they've offered by price. I'll be going to Ombudsman and formally complaining. Their stupid video to "prove" anything is not worth the time spent recording it as well.
It's a scam don't be fooled they offer you a high value then on receiving the phone will lie about something being wrong with it.they make a revise silly offer but will then charge you £12 to send phone back … ha ha brilliant scam. I pity them as clearly need the money that much. Do sleep well we buy any phones … BE WARNED
Tip for consumers:
The whole phone call is scripted and calculated my phone was in good condition with everything working they offered me £50 then came out will some lie about condition offered me £15 or £12 to send back … BE WARNED

We buy any phones … total con and scam .. I was mugged off .. please don’t be the next one
My phone is in good condition despite what this company says. I have attached the images I took before sending the phone. Yes there are very light scratches on the front, but isn't this to be expected on a phone that is 3 years old? WBAP offered me £217 online and when I sent it to them they got in touch to say they could only offer £35. I asked them to send it back and they are charging me over £10 for the privilege.
After reading some of the other 1 star reviews (how I wish I had done this first), I have seen that one of the 1 star reviewers had contacted trading standards, so I have done the same. I have also contacted Watchdog and Rip off Britain. If other people have had a bad experience with this company it would be great if you could do the same. I really hate being ripped off and if we don't stand up and make a noise about companies like this they will keep getting away with it. It's not ok. They picked the wrong person to do this to. I am seething and I will make sure everyone that I know, knows to avoid this company at all costs
Also the person I spoke to said £35 is in line with what their competitors would offer. How's about them being honest and upfront about this on their website, rather than offering you a decent price which is obviously just a lie to get you to send your phone to them. They obviously just hope you're so desperate for the money that you accept. Well unfortunately for them I'm not desperate, but they have rubbed me up the wrong way and I won't be going away quietly!
