I ordered a bunch of mason jar drinking glasses as favors for a bridal shower then etched on my own design. They were very inexpensive and were exactly as described. Maybe not the highest quality, but considering the low price they more than met my expectations. There was a small issue with delivery, but I contacted customer service via email and a real person responded in less two hours and corrected the error. Customer service experience was one of the best I've had in a very long time. Exceptional. Will definitely use webstaurant again.

“Shelves bow in center when weight is distributed equally across each one.”

First, shelves are nice looking but they do bend by about an inch or so in center of each shelf. The weight i have (4 bins of vinyl albums per shelf) is under maximum recommended weight and evenly distributed. Second, I would like to order additional parts and found it very difficult to contact this company. They don't make it easy on the website to contact and there is no phone number. I did send an online email, but never got a response as of today, 3 days later. The online chat bot is useless. You would think someone would respond quicker when it comes to a sale of more items.

I have ordered many things in the past through webstaurant store. I love that you can get what you need but they're shipping prices are astronomical. Finally had to say enough is enough wanted to order replacement latch for my food carrier. A $17 part that's about 2 oz of plastic. And they want $21 in shipping sorry there is no way to justify this.

Beware when ordering things from this online store. They have rules they don't really make the buyer aware of. They also do not tell you if and item will not be available very easily, you have to find and read all the fine print.
So, overall they sell lots of items and some good one's. It's just if you make a mistake when ordering they will not return your funds right away. They hold the funds!

Tip for consumers:
Try and find a restaurant supply store near where you live and support that local business, they can and usually will get the same items that Webstaurant sells.

Products used:
Store credit only if you have an issue with bad items. Some items will ship right away, but if they are out of stock and they don't tell you that or you miss that when ordering you are screwed and will not get things you are paying for very quickly.

I bought some cups on 08Jan22. It is now 25Jan22. The tracking indicates "Processing". I do not know what that means. I had hoped to have my purchase long before now, so I have contacted the company about 5 times to inquire about the status of my purchase and to offer to pay more to get it here faster. My main problems is that no will respond to me at all. I guess I am bothering them too much. I am not sure.

I love this store, but unless you buy into their monthly "Prime" shipping plan, they charge at least triple actual shipping costs. Example: $48 in merchandise that weighs 3lbs, $34 shipping, and I'm in the same postal zone that they are. They do have great prices but unless you spend $100 +, you're better off looking elsewhere.

Excessive shipping prices are what you get as they make up the profit the "lost" when giving you a deal on their items here! Wow! It seems that there are those in agreement with me about the excessive shipping costs! Look at the other reviews! Are you all trying to save the flailing post office all by yourselves?

As a result, we do charge the full shipping cost on each of our orders. Please keep in mind we cannot guarantee shipping estimates unless you choose 2nd Day or Next Day shipping for in-stock items. As to our carriers, we do ship UPS, FedEx, and through regional partners throughout the US but we do not ship through USPS.

They are a great company, but be aware that they will try there to conceal their phone number to contact them. Also, make sure after you first order something they do not automatically enroll you in Webstaurant plus. It was extremely tedious to get my subscription canceled.

I would LOVE to give them a 5-star rating, but I currently sit waiting for their choice of shipping company to deliver my equipment. I have asked them to use a different shipper, but their reply is that shipping would increase - even though I am signed up for their "Plus" shipping. This makes me feel like the thousands of dollars I have spent don't matter to them - let alone the thousands in additional equipment I still have to order, or me as a customer. Their products/equipment are great, but using Estes shipping is a horrible business decision on their part. Will likely spend my big purchase dollars elsewhere, as waiting a week or more for delivery on equipment that is sitting less than an hour away from me is unacceptable.

Since you are a Plus free shipping member, the shipping cost for Plus free shipping items would not change if we did restrict Estes on your account. The only issue that you may encounter would be a slight increase in shipping for the non-Plus items. The reason why it would increase is that we use many different carriers to quote the cost of shipping to you in the cart and when the lowest cost option is removed (Estes), we would select the next lowest carrier which may be a little more expensive. Since we do not offer flat shipping rates or build the shipping cost into the cost of the item and we calculate them real time when you place the order, there is a possibility that it would be more expensive to use a different carrier.

If you would like for us to restrict Estes, we are happy to do so, but we want to explain why you may see higher shipping than previously on the non-Plus items. I am happy to work with you on this if you email at Help@WebstaurantStore.com and put it to the attention Emily A.

Shipping was almost the same as the items themselves.
You say to order more items and the shipping cost goes down. This is not true.
The only reason I bought them is because my litter sister needed them for a school project.
Shipping price TERRIBLE. You are taking advantage of your customers.

I accidentally ordered 2 of 1 item. Tried to contact customer service immediately, but was informed item had shipped. Order had been placed approximately 10 mins. Prior. Will not return due to so many fees. Did not receive satisfactory answer to my problem.

The reason that we charge a restocking fee is to keep costs, and ultimately our prices, down for our customers. I purchased 14 Fire extinguishers. I requested at the time of purchase that these be of the current year. The reason being? Fire Extinguishers by code have to be rebuilt every 6yrs.at a higher cost than regular inspection, thus an old unit does not have the same life expectancy and has additional premature costs built in when acquired. I chatted with a Rachel O. At the time of my order and made my request clear. Case # **************. When the units were received 2 of the 14 were 2020 units and not 2021. I again live chatted with a representative, Theresa who informed me the company would not exchange the units. Very disappointed with their response considering, I had done all the right things to make the purchase satisfactory. I'm giving three stars only because of the pricing, which was very competitive. Sorry to say, their customer service team needs a lot better training.

Tip for consumers:
I cannot give a tip. I went up and beyond to make my order satisfactory, the company failed!

Love the selection - but shipping is way too high. Even with the membership. Will likely cancel it and buy elsewhere for no reason other than that the shipping is so high.

These charges are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, and distance the order is traveling. Usually, the more you purchase at one time, the better your shipping cost will be per item. It is also more cost-effective to ship to a business as shipping rates are lower to commercial addresses. If you are registered on our website to receive email flyers, we did send out flyers on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. While there may not have been discounts on shipping for entire orders, there were many sales on individual items themselves. I ordered a door handle told 2 day delivery! Paid extra for it! Got it a week later! Lost customer because of it! I'm ordered something else to give another chance! If it says 2 days delivery it shouldn't be when factor ships it

Shipping seems a little high, and I could not find where to enter a coupon code, but they had what I wanted so I placed the order. I have purchased for my workplace, and for myself, from WebstaurantStore and really like the variety of products, but sometimes get a little "sticker shock" when the shipping is added.

I have completed the latest box and there were many bottoms leftover. Do I need to start counting my items? I am not receiving 80 lids and 80 bottoms. I am losing money because of this oversight, What will you do to satisfy me staying with this company?

Their products are quality and arrive quickly. Their prices are low but their shipping costs are high. They are good about replacing any damaged items.

They give store credit for reviews so I took part in reviews. They suddenly placed a limit on the amount of store credit any one customer cold receive. I accepted that though I hadn't done anything wrong racking up points and even had pictures proving use of the products.

I have since tried to access their website to look for more items to buy using money and they won't allow me access to their website. I believed at first the website was down due to maintenance but it has been much too long and I still can't access the website. It states that the site can't be reached because "webstaurantstore unexpectedly closed the connection". I contacted the website and heard nothing from them. They though don't have any issue continually to send me daily promotion emails that are now nothing more than spam to me.

Low prices yes but I bought forks and spoons medium grade soo bad I called and they asked for a restocking fee. In my opinion I orered in good faith that medium grade would be fine for my restaurant. Ended up throwing them away.
Next I ordered the wrong lids to go with the cups ordered at the same time. I order in advance so to not run out at my restaurant. I found I ordered the wrong lids and now they won't return because the 30 days have passed.

Their low prices are good but I think after a couple of these experiences I could have paid more and saved with better customer service?

It was very easy to find what I was looking for the descriptions helped me make my decision and the checkout process was eazy. ( I wish they would have showed the total including tax before I paid, not that it was a deal breaker but it would be nice to know)
