We worked with my friend on quite a good project which referred to the real estate sphere and we demanded a good website, because we realized that it would our calling card if the project would be launched. We have applied for services to these guys as the pricing was rather affordable for us, and their designs which they published in testmonials were looking attractive. We have built the website of our dream due to them, but unfortunately the idea with the real estate business faded. But I'm not disappointed. I'm moving forward!

My site has been working just fine up until February 2023. The Home value tool stopped working sometime in February or maybe even before February, and they still have no ETA on when it will be fixed. I keep getting the same response every time I contact them, "We're working on it". Now I have to go find another Home value tool to use in my ads. So frustrating!

GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING…
I am giving this company a 3-star review so people will take this review seriously. It is not a bad product, it just wasn't right for us. I had the site for about a month and canceled. I understood I would lose the $189 fee for the first year. We switched to Carrot.com and have been very happy with their product and customer service. My issue with Website Box is that they continued to bill me with auto-pay. I was billed in May of 2022 for $299 and they were preparing to bill me for $299 this May of 2023. The initial website has not been online since I cancelled it in 2020. Even though the website was not online they refuse to refund the charge from 2022. I took the word of the account manager that said they would cancel my account back in 2020 and didn't request an Email. If you choose to do business with this company get everything in writing. Even though I do not agree with their refund policy, I don't have to like it, and I DO NOT recommend their company. I wish I would have found Carrot.com earlier.

I purchased the $99 lifetime subscription. I stopped using the site after one year because it was so difficult to use and poorly designed. I upgraded to IDX and it literally took them six months to set it up. Even after it was set up, I felt like I paid too much. It just wasn't useful, it was difficult to make changes, and it certainly wasn't bringing me any business. I stopped using it after a year or so and upgraded to a professionally designed site.

Why am I writing this review three years later? Because I just received an email announcing my "lifetime" subscription is no longer valid because it's an "unsustainable" business model. They are now charging $99 per year. Good thing I've already left.

I was unaware of the various add ons that you will have to pay extra $99 us dollars for. For someone who just wants to have a web presence, its great as there is no monthly fees. I like that they don't charge extra for idx services. Most web providers charges extra. The website itself is very basic and there is very little you can do in terms of custimizing the page with your profile pic. Just to have your picture customized to the page, they charge $99 extra.

David is great and very quick. So far getting a response is SO slow... it kind of stinks, and makes sense why the website is so low priced. Also you have to do everything yourself which is confusing.

New monthly fees for having MLS added to the site after you have paid the $99 even if you were a member from past years.

Upon sign-up you have the availability for an on-board appointment to get familiar with the site. Very helpful but did not provide all the information about the MLS approval process for IDX activation. Also, make sure to read about the "add-ons" as you most likely will want at least one. Still a great concept for the price.

I am clueless with websites and the process I went through creating my own site was fairly doable for a novice like me. The tutorials online were also very helpful. It is $99 to set up, plus additional yearly fees for added apps and MLS, items I want on my site. Service is decent, but it does take about 24 hours or so for them to answer your questions (either via chatbox, email, or voicemail).
David T. Helped me with my onboarding and was very thorough and helpful with my questions and concerns. He was right on time when calling me for our scheduled orientation.

These important features should be included as a default feature with purchase. Other than that, the service is good. I had a good experience setting up my page and was practically hand-held through the process!

The on-board appointment was useful, however it was in fast path (have to be completed in 45')and its speed is good enough for skillful technicians, maybe no so good for the rest of us. Anyway overall, it worked.
