We worked with my friend on quite a good project which referred to the real estate sphere and we demanded a good website, because we realized that it would our calling card if the project would be launched. We have applied for services to these guys as the pricing was rather affordable for us, and their designs which they published in testmonials were looking attractive. We have built the website of our dream due to them, but unfortunately the idea with the real estate business faded. But I'm not disappointed. I'm moving forward!

My site has been working just fine up until February 2023. The Home value tool stopped working sometime in February or maybe even before February, and they still have no ETA on when it will be fixed. I keep getting the same response every time I contact them, "We're working on it". Now I have to go find another Home value tool to use in my ads. So frustrating!

My site has been working just fine up until February 2023. The Home value tool stopped working sometime in February or maybe even before February, and they still have no ETA on when it will be fixed. I keep getting the same response every time I contact them, "We're working on it". Now I have to go find another Home value tool to use in my ads. So frustrating!

Websitebox is down. I called the phone found on Facebook and is out of order. Seems that this company disappeared. My website is lost and all the link I have on my social media is not working. The company is not reachable at this time. Frustrated. My hosting company said that my website was transferred to Amazon but I didn't authorize the move. I am stuck with WEBSITEBOX because there is no way to contact them to see what is going on.

I can't express in words how frustrating this company has been to work with. I was told from the start that it would only be $99/yr After a time, things were changed and my account closed. I expressed my frustration and received a reply stating that in order to activate my account I had to pay three times what was agreed upon. There was no apology in the response. The one star reflects their lack of empathy and customer service. Their actions prove that they only care about a profit and are misleading in their sales tactics.

Tip for consumers:
Follow up repeatedly as they do not take care of things for you.

ABSOLUTLEY THE WORST! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!
Way better platforms than this one. They said one time fee, but will scam you by charging you $200 Us every year after a few years.

WebsiteBox is the worst website maker I have ever used. I highly discourage you to not purchase this website designer. The editing is infuriating. You can barely make edits to text or pictures without deleting edits or just being unable to edit. Once you have made an edit it is irreversible.

It is the ABSOLUTE WORST! I have written several emails and they don't even care to respond. They are so full of you know what. The reviews you are reading from everyone else is spot on. It is horrible and despicable. You have to figure out your own problems.

When making modifications to your website, there are also lots of bugs you'll run into which are quite irritating. Example, when select a sentence and changing it to bold lettering, it will only select one word and make it bold. You have to select each word in order for the change to occur. Do you think you can deal with that?

Awful customer service! Nobody could help me with a simple task of adding my domain to my site. After days of talking with multiple people I decided to cancel and get my refund. It's been 7 days now that I've been trying to cancel this account and still nothing. Run from this company! They offer a lousy product for a cheap price with no support. What's the worst is they won't even let you cancel if you're not satisfied!

No customer service. If you have a problem you won't find anyone to talk with. My account manager was absolutely unprofessional and had zero time management. He never respected scheduled call appointments. When I complained he told me " you think you are the only customer we have" absolutely rude. I don't recommend! I stopped my account and asked for a refund.

I too signed up when it was advertised as a one time payment of $99 for life. They then decided they would no longer honor that offer and is forcing all their customers to switch to a yearly subscription. Bye bye! I won't be dealing with a company who falsely advertises and who so obviously can't be trusted.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM! You will regret it 100% They sold us a lifetime plan then decided to say hey well we know you bought a lifetime setup but we want to change you to monthly instead... in what world does that make sense. Refund the people you scammed and charge monthly to those who decide to stay with your sub par service.

We were sold on the fact that it is a one time purchase and set for life. Come to find out they are now not honoring that and are advising that we need to cancel or be billed a monthly fee vs the one time fee that we agreed to.

On top of that their sites are not secure and your clients will be told that password information they insert is likely to be stolen. An alert that will cause many of your clients to disengage from the site.

Run from this company they are very deceitful and will offer no refund even when they are caught red handed in their lies.

DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! Website box originally sold $99-lifetime websites. This has not been honored and Website Box is now requiring $99/yr or you must cancel your initial lifetime subscription. In addition, any money you previously spent on apps to work within the main software, have mostly been discontinued without a refund, explanation, or warning; resulting in a loss of the money paid for those apps. This company lies about everything and thus can't be trusted. Is anyone interested in filling a class action lawsuit? These guys deserve it. I would give this less than 1-star if I could.

I live in a town of 72,000 in a marketing area of over 1,000,000. None the less, when I try a search for a 3.2 house in my area, I get ZERO results. None. When I try a zip code search, the results are for every zip code in my state. Totally useless search function. When I called customer service, they tell me they are 'always working to improve" the search function, but for now, "please only search in New York City".

Stay away. This company will soon be out of business.

IDO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! Website box originally sold $99-lifetime websites and now they are canceling my lifetime agreement. They are attempting to sell me a subscription based model. Their platform is barely worth the $99 onetime fee let alone a continuous fee. Who else is interested in a class action lawsuit? I know I am. I will also contact the Better Business Bureau

I have been a current user for quite a while and found the original set up on the old platform to be fairly decent once you got used to it. This new platform however is not user-friendly or intuitive. After spending much time trying to figure it out I'm just about ready to call the competition to get a different site or use the lame website my company gives me.

The new platform requires us to start from scratch with our new website so all the work you've put into it up till now gets to be scrapped so you can do it all over again. And trying to use the new platform Is simply not easy. I did try!

As a member of Carolina MLS, now called Canopy MLS in the Charlotte NC region, my website has not updated our MLS listings or even displays our new company listings in over 3 months months. Each time I call WebsiteBox(5 times now) they say they need to remap the website, but nothing ever happens. My real estate website is USELESS and WebsiteBox does nothing. Oh they promise to fix it each time I call, but it does not happen. Nothing has changed in months. Do not even think of going with WebsiteBox. I sure regret it.

PLEASE for the love of all thing good, if you are considering building a website with websitebox... DON'T, just don't! My site has not been updated with current MLS info since 3/2/2020! I have reached out to "customer support" (what a joke) 9 times over the past 21 days. At first I got "we are working on it" but now I get no response at all. PLEASE, PLEASE spend your money elsewhere. TERRIBLE customer service and a non working website!

Do not deal with these people! You have been warned. Horrible experience when they ARBITRARILY change an agreement. Not going to waste anymore of my time and money taking them to court. Mapping for listings has not worked for 9 months too!

Maybe good for the $99.00 Otherwise go somewhere else. Paid the $499.00 service and it was not worth it. Never got the service, always on hold, the refused to refund my renewal fee.
Stay away.

Over a year ago I paid what I thought was $99. And they charge me $299. And I never got a site or a service then was contacted today by Travis and told I was going to be pay $199.00 because that is what I agreed to and he said I would have to write a letter to get proof of this and when I ask for the owners name he said he was the highest I could get because the owner didn't do the day to day stuff and if I wanted the owner name to look it up I am assuming he meant google.

Even in Canada we were jilted: they could have come up with a better long term solution but we only lost $99, so what, but the time hurt.

Website Box charges my Credit Card $ 85.00 without my consent, I just paid $ 50.00 last Month, Mars 2020
That's a 200 % increased, they don't even want to return the $ 50.00 they don't want to answer or to solve that dispute.

When I first signed up in 2016 I edited my site and was able to build my site myself, without having to call in to the company for help. They closed down my old site. They claim they sent me e-mails, but they never did. I have all my e-mails and there are none from them. Even worse, the new platform is not user friendly, and I can tell the staff is overwhelmed. They are defensive and dismissive whenever I call in with issues. They tell me things are not set up, when they are (such as IDX) and when I tell them I have done it already they almost yell at me telling me it is not so. I feel like a crazy person dealing with them now. This is not a custom website approach, and I don't expect it based on price. I liked the old simplified version. This new system is complicated, time consuming, and nearly impossible. Not user friendly at all. Since I have already invested so much time, I will keep the site for now. If I was new and considering this as my website, I would definitely not go this route. Pay a little more and get a site that is workable. The new site is too complicated and full of items that don't work or can't be changed. Their solution is to delete the material in a section if it is not changeable. Not a good upgrade.

They start by claiming yes it is really $99 and you can get a discount of that. But then there are one fee than another fee, then another fee for example they say that there is an MLS pass through fee. No there is not. They want $15 for a domain name per year. Ok I can live with that.
But they you find they have a fee if you want a header. If you want $99 a year. All of this is not out of touch when you price a web site, but they just lie to you over an over.

WebsiteBox used to have great customer service... not sure what has gone wrong! I have a an open issue with our vacant land listings not showing up on our website - they used to be there - they disappeared at least a week ago. After 7 days I still have zero answers... and no estimated time of a resolution. In real estate your website content is important - half of ours is missing and WebsiteBox could care less.
