Fantastic experience making purchases. Finding what you're looking for is simple. Filters include price, size, and style. Excellent savings and free shipping are also available. They have some excellent quality things and a large selection.
Was wrongly billed for items marked delivered but sent to incorrect unit/,building. After reaching out to the ceo and resolution team I received no assistance. The photo doesn't even clearly identify anything and now im out of a few hundred dollars. Save your money shop somewhere where they care about their customers and make sure you get your items.
Reading all of the negative reviews, I sometimes think that it's just the luck of the draw. I have purchased seventeen items from Wayfair since September, including dining room furniture, lighting, stools and rugs, and my experiences have been pretty good. Delivery was as promised and the products met my expectations. This week, on Monday, I received a small round rug that had been ordered the prior week and it was damaged. On Tuesday I filed a claim online and the replacement arrived on Wednesday. Only four stars since one larger area rug was folded instead of rolled and I'm still working out the creases.
I've purchased a couple of things over the past two years, including queen size bed and outdoor umbrella. They have a good selection of options. The reviews on their website are legit. I like that people can add pictures of the products when they receive them, so you have a better idea of what you're getting. For my two orders, i received the items on time and the products were exactly as i expected. No issues experienced. I would buy from them again
Although skeptical of a large firm promising great prices, products and quick delivery my experience was more than satisfactory and I am going to have to say, excellent. I purchased 2 beds in a box and frames for both and all the items were really good quality and even comfortable.
Edit: I felt the need to warn people about having large pieces of furniture delivered. If you do, be aware that they will not take items up stairs. It is not like other furniture delivery. They simply get them to the site. The way I understood the fine print was that they would get it to my door, but they did not. I wasn't too happy, but a neighbor helped me when he saw me dragging a 250 lbs couch up my stairs.
That said, the couch is great. Just make sure you have help and a place to throw away the biggest friggin box you'll ever see.
I thought I should put up a review because there seems to be a bit of selection bias in which only angry customers are reviewing. I have never had an issue with Wayfair. They are the only company I will consider purchasing furniture from without seeing the product in person. The customer service is probably the best I've experienced from any online company, but maybe they are having growing pains because I haven't called in a while.
A few examples:
1. I purchased a record player/storage stand from them. Beautiful piece, but I had trouble getting the door angled right because I was doing it wrong (I didn't see to adjust the hinges). They didn't even care that it was my own stupidity that caused me to ruin my product. They sent out a new set of hardware and a new door for me and did not require I send back anything. I was very happy as this was about a $300 record player stand.
2. I purchased some mid-priced lamps from them and overtightened a few pieces so that the threading came out of the wood. Again, they just sent me some replacement parts. Again, didn't need to return anything.
3. I purchased a high table with chairs and the plastic pieces at the bottom of one of the chairs had come out, so that the chair was horribly wobbly. They simply sent out some pieces to replace the plastic bottoms. Again, didn't need to return anything.
I've purchased quite a few items from Wayfair and because of the way they can just send out replacement parts, I've stuck with them for online furniture purchases. It's probably been 18 months since I had to call them, so maybe they're slipping. I hope that is not the case.
Products used:
I have a sectional couch and various accent pieces along with a dog kennel.
I've been buying furniture, curtains and other home good items for years, and while there have been a few disappointments, overall the items are good and I continue to purchase things there.
I love shopping on Wayfair for my furniture! The pieces are always so tasteful and I always find pieces that look more expensive than they are. I bought a large rug for £150, with other similar rugs being £400 + from elsewhere. Really quick delivery in the UK, usually within 5 days. Lots of selection to choose from.
I have bought numerous items for wayfair.ca here in canada.
Its hit or miss. Bought a headboard... was quick and beautiful. 2nd bed they sent wrong bed frame now mind you they did fully refund.
Some items take forever to receive and items are pricey... amazon.ca may have cheaper as discovered.
I will say their customer service is 100% excellent... they are flexible open till 12am. Best customer service I have ever experienced. So for that 4 stars.
Order #**************-1
Waiting for an adjustment on my order. Thank you. Have been in contact with customer service. Very professional.
Good things about 70 percent of interactions are helpful. There are a few people who are really difficult and I've had to threaten the BBB. Even though I'm buying a lower price point item I want it to be safe. I have several times really had to advocate for myself a great deal. Hopefully the are not outsourced like Cuddledown support on phone. I'm careful what I buy I only buy brands I know are ok. If they choose to use overseas phone outsourcing in the Philippines or anywhere outside rhe USA im gone.

I love wayfair-not saying I have never experienced any issues with them but the most important thing is that they always rectify any problem that does occur. I have had many orders that arrived in perfect condition (while some arrived with slight scratches)- wayfair has always ensured that I am left feeling happy about my order. Their products range from good quality to cheap (it all depends on what you are shopping for).
I've ordered from them for many items and have always been pleased with their products and speedy delivery. I'm surprised to see all of these negative reviews because I've never had an issue. I've even had the wayfair delivery truck show up to my door so I'm not sure why people are saying they don't sell their own product plus they even gave me a free gift!
Tip for consumers:
Just be sure to check the verified purchasers reviews before you buy to see what others are saying and you'll be golden!
I'm writing a review because I've had great experiences with Wayfair. I bought a 5' round accent Barton Beige Area Rug it has rich beautiful coloring and quality made. I returned this only because my miscalculation of needing a larger size. The return went quickly and immediately my return funds were deposited in my bank account. I also bought a different time the Collage Wall Hanging 5 Opening Picture Frame. It's beautiful and hanging in my dining room. I'll buy from Wayfair again and would recommend them.
I enjoy shopping with Wayfair and wherever I have an issue customer service is awesome. I only wish my delivery experience would be more consistent. I'm still waiting for one of my items ordered several weeks ago to arrive.
Ordered 4 chairs from the company the only issue I have with Wayfair is stuff goes out of stock I waited almost a year to finally purchase. I received the chairs they were more violet than blush but nonetheless very nice sturdy and looked of quality well heck they should they were $499 a pop! Only three chairs could fit around the table the return process was easy since one chair I did not take out the box. I printed off the return label scheduled a fedex for pick up once FedEx ran the code my money was returned minus the shipping but hey you gotta do what you gotta do. Would order again the product I received was lovely.
I havent had delivery problems and the damaged chair I bought was quickly refunded as was another item I purchased. The customer service reps were eager to help, offering replacements or refunds.
However, beware of buying furniture that requires assembly. My experience has been that the directions can be unclear, parts are often very heavy, labeled poorly, if at all, and do not always fit easily together.
I think the problem is with the vendors Wayfair uses, all of whom seem to have different quality of product and delivery and customer service policies. But Wayfairs customer service, for me, has been responsive and prompt. Not sure that makes up for the uncertainty of whether or not youre going to get something you really like or the hassle of replacement or refund though.
Still, it really is true that you get what you pay for so if you want to be sure youll like something, go where you can see/touch the item youre buying. And if youre not handy or dont want the hassle, pay for the manufacturer to assemble your product or buy from a more expensive store that has assembly built into the price in the first place!
I ordered a papasan chair that arrived with a saw cut through one of the wood frame pieces. I write support and received 2 nice responses saying they'd rectify the situation with a replacement part, a full replacement of the unit or a full refund. Instead what I got was a 10% discount coupon that had to be used within 2 months. Don't know what happened to the support team but they really let me down completely. I won't be buying from Wayfair again--and I like their stuff... but forget it!
I was very dis-satisfied with a purchase of stools from them. After about 6 months they started creaking every time you sat on them and also became very wobbly. No amount of tightening helped. I contacted the company with my dis-satisfaction and i received a full refund for my purchase.
Just purchased a recliner from wayfair, a Samantha in brownew, says it will hold up to 300 lbs. Well, got it delivered on 5-4-16, sat in it, arms are tight on my sides, no arm padding, my butt is already on the floor, need 2 people to kick the recliner closed. It was also delivered wet. NOT COOL. Why do companies think they are allowed to falsify items and steal your money. NEVER AGAIN... JHG
I really like the products on this site, there is always a nice selection of everything related to home. Even if I don't like something they will exchange it of tell me to trash it and send me something else.
My first purchase with Wayfair was a spa/hot tub-- cost about $2500 when everything I found in pool and spa stores was over $5000. The hot tub was delivered on the promised day, heavily packaged to avoid any damage and standing on its side. Although I tipped the delivery men for bringing it around to the back of my home, I wish they'd gone a step further and set it up for me-- it would have taken them an extra 5 minutes to lay down the hot tub and remove all the shrink wrap and padding foam so that it was ready to fill up. Instead, I had to enlist the help of 3 strong friends though it was still worth all the effort. The hot tub has been one of my best investments ever and I use it almost daily, even when it's below 0 outside like today. Before I placed my order for the hot tub I spoke with a super-nice and helpful customer assistant who wasn't in a hurry to get off the phone, something I often experience when calling 1-800 numbers with my questions and concerns. I have also ordered office chairs and a bathroom space-saving chrome storage rack, and everything arrived quickly and in perfect condition, though I did have to assemble the chairs and the rack but that seems to be the new normal. As with any website, before you shell out your hard-earned money, please be sure about their return policy though I have had pretty good luck with Wayfair, you must check first so as not to get burned.
Great, clean looking, easy to use website. I ordered a non-stick pan set and a stainless flatware set. The flatware set was on sale for $35. Order arrived in the time they stated. Even though the flatware were individually wrapped, most of the pieces had surface scratches - so I submitted a complaint via their website. A customer service rep responded within a day or so and said they would credit me for the flatware set. They gave me back the full amount and I was able to keep and use the set since the blemishes were minor. Good way to gain a customer for life.
Nice mattress pad. Although waterproof, it doesn't make any crinkly noises, so comfort! Have not washed it yet, so not sure how it will hold up. But still I would buy another one!
I've purchased a handful of things here for my home. One of my fave's is my unique wall mounted wine rack. I've not had any issues in my 3-4 purchases. Good prices and you get points back that turn into dollars off towards future purchases. They have a 3 piece rug sale going on now and I will be perusing their selection.
Bought a $550 cabinet. Made in China. It was not square and would not lock in rear clasps. One door was missing a crucial pin. Never again!
Gee, your reviews are quite harsh... gosh and I just ordered some small, but I want to purchase industrial side table for about $665. What are my chances? Your customer service has to be fired and hire new personnel... I want to be a WAYFAIR satisfied customer - you have such nice wares.
If you like Sears and Kmart. I think you will like Wayfait. A good online source.
